Co–Fe Bimetal Phosphate Composite Loaded on Reduced Graphene Oxide for Oxygen Evolution
Guoxing Zhu,Xulan Xie,Lisong Xiao,Xiaoyun Li,Xiaoping Shen,Yuanjun Liu 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2019 NANO Vol.14 No.1
Development of high-performance nonprecious metal-based catalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is crucial to improve the efficiency of water electrolysis and photoelectrochemical water splitting for harvesting and storage of solar energy. Herein, Co–Fe phosphates and their composites with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) were prepared by a simple hydrothermal method, which then acted as oxygen evolution reaction catalysts. In 1.0 M KOH aqueous solution, the as-obtained optimal composite, Co–Fe phosphate/rGO, can catalyze oxygen evolution reaction with a very sharp onset potential and a small over-potential of 338 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm -2. It was found that in these Co–Fe phosphates, the optimal Co:Fe ratio is 0.75:0.25. The excellent electrocatalytic performance of the Co–Fe phosphate/rGO composite would benefit from the synergistic effects between Fe and Co species, as well as rGO substrate providing conductive channels. The formed Co–Fe phosphate/rGO electrocatalysts can be the promising replacement of precious metal-based catalysts for more practical and cost-efficient water splitting.
Tearing of metallic sandwich panels subjected to air shock loading
Zhu, Feng,Lu, Guoxing,Ruan, Dong,Shu, Dong-Wei Techno-Press 2009 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.32 No.2
This paper presents a computational study for the structural response of blast loaded metallic sandwich panels, with the emphasis placed on their failure behaviours. The fully-clamped panels are square, and the honeycomb core and skins are made of the same aluminium alloy. A material model considering strain and strain rate hardening effects is used and the blast load is idealised as either a uniform or localised pressure over a short duration. The deformation/failure procedure and modes of the sandwich panels are identified and analysed. In the uniform loading condition, the effect of core density and face-sheets thicknesses is analysed. Likewise, the influence of pulse shape on the failure modes is investigated by deriving a pressure-impulse (P-I) diagram. For localised loading, a comparative study is carried out to assess the blast resistant behaviours of three types of structures: sandwich panel with honeycomb core, two face-sheets with air core and monolithic plate, in terms of their permanent deflections and damage degrees. The finding of this research provides a valuable insight into the engineering design of sandwich constructions against air blast loads.

Case Reports : Rosai-Dorfman Disease with Massive Cutaneous Nodule on the Shoulder and Back
( Han Ma ),( Yue Zheng ),( Guoxing Zhu ),( Jie Wu ),( Chun Lu ),( Wei Lai ) 대한피부과학회 2015 Annals of Dermatology Vol.27 No.1
Rosai-Dorfman disease is a rare, idiopathic, benign, andself-limiting histiocytic proliferative disorder. A 26-year-oldman presented with a single massive cutaneous nodule(reaching 30 cm in diameter) on the left shoulder and back for15 months. The routine hematological and biochemical testswere normal. Magnetic resonance scanning showed the lesioninvolved the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and subjacent musclegroup, accompanied by obvious lymph node enlargement inthe left part of the neck, supraclavicular fossa, and axillaryfossa. The histopathology of the left cervical lymph noderevealed diffuse effacement of the normal nodal architecture, with patchy chronic inflammatory cell infiltrates comprisinglymphocytes and sheets of histiocytes. Some histiocytescontained lymphocytes within their pale cytoplasm. Manymultinucleated giant cells were found; however, caseatinggranulomas were not seen. The skin and muscle biopsyspecimen obtained from the back revealed infiltratinglymphocytes and histiocytes diffusely distributed in thedermis, subcutaneous tissue, and crevices of the muscle fibers. The phenomenon of emperipolesis and the presence ofmultinucleated giant cells were also seen. Immunohistochemicalstaining revealed that the histiocytes were positivefor S-100 protein and CD68 but negative for CD1a. Immunophenotyping of the infiltrating lymphocytes indicatedpositive reactions to CD3, CD45RO, CD5, CD7, CD4, CD8(partly), CD79a, CD20 (partly), and Ki-67 (<1%). The finaldiagnosis was Rosai-Dorfman disease. Owing to the extensiveand deep involvement of the subcutaneous tissue and muscles, the patient did not undergo surgery to excise the massive skinnodule. The lesion showed no obvious change at the 12-monthfollow-up. (Ann Dermatol 27(1) 71∼75, 2015)
