        Cultural Influence on Koreans' Continuous Use Behavior: A Case of the South Korean Government Portal Website

        Although South Korea's e-government development is in a leading position worldwide, its government portal websites are not very popular with the public. Koreans are reluctant to use government portal websites continuously. One possible reason is that culture influences citizens' continuous use behavior. For the first time, this paper introduces the national culture model and nudge theory into the research of the citizens' continuous use of government portal websites. Based on the national cultural model, this study established a model of influencing factors on the citizens' continuous use of government portal websites. Through hierarchical regression analysis, this paper finds that the citizens' continuous use of South Korean government portal websites is influenced by three cultural dimensions: power distance, femininity, and long-term orientation. In view of these results, this paper discusses these Korean cultures that influence citizens' continuous use behavior of government portal websites. Furthermore, combined with the nudge theory, this paper puts forward some countermeasures for the Korean government to improve the citizens' continuous use of government portal websites.

        The earliest violin with modern significance was born in Europe in the mid-16th century. As one of the most important forms of music in the West, after several hundred years of development, it has already formed its perfect teaching system, and it has developed roots in different countries in the West. Genre. Every brilliant genre is immortal based on the cultural characteristics of its own nation. However, in modern China, China began to develop domestic violin art and education. However, due to long-term wars and social unrest, it has been in the stage of imitation and exploration before the founding of the People's Republic. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, although a large number of composers have created many excellent Chinese violin works, the Chinese education of violin music has not been perfected in China. Nowadays, the national music education and the improvement and development of nationalization have become the general trend of the development of music teaching in colleges and universities. This paper analyzes the current situation of the development of violin nationalization teaching in some colleges and universities in Shanxi, discusses and studies the necessity of nationalization reform of violin teaching in colleges and universities, as well as the methods and practice of nationalization reform of violin playing teaching in colleges and universities.

        What affects the User Sharing Degree of Public Transportation Apps in China? - A Comparative Study between Government App and Business App

        In order to explore the factors influencing the user sharing degree of government apps in the field of public transportation, this study selected government app Beijing One Card and business app Bus Code (Beijing area) in the same field as the comparative analysis objects, and based on the network questionnaire survey and multiple regression analysis, explored the differences of factors influencing the user sharing degree of the two apps. It is found that system quality and platform promotion effect have a significant positive impact on the user sharing degree of two apps, while service quality has no effect on the user sharing degree of two apps. User preference affects user sharing degree of government app Beijing One Card, but has no effect on business app Bus Code (Beijing area). Since the downloads of Beijing One Card app is much higher than the downloads of Bus Code app (Beijing area), this paper believes that user preference determines that users are more inclined to choose government apps instead of business apps. In addition, government apps and business apps not only need to ensure the system quality and pay attention to the platform promotion effect, but also need to focus on the user’s preference and guide the direction of the user’s preference in a normal way, so as to improve the user sharing degree and expand the promotion scope of two kinds of apps.

        Reliability assessment for multi-source data of mechanical parts of civil aircraft based on the model

        In view of the abnormal, missing and multi-source reliability data, a complete reliability data processing method for civil machinery parts are formed. The abnormal data in the original reliability data set is screened out by Pauta criterion. The vacant data is supplemented by linear interpolation. Each subjective index weight of multi-source data is determined by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and Euclidean distance. Each objective index weight is determined by the discrete degree of the index weight. The comprehensive reliability model about a certain mechanical part with multi-source data is established and validated to be practical through case analysis. The proposed method obtains more accurate assessment of part reliability, and is thus valuable for the safe operation and maintenance of civil aircraft.

Taking the current situation of community pension in CY District of Qingdao as an example, this paper constructed an online and offline smart pension mode based on the tripartite cooperation between the government, the community and enterprises, with the community home pension service database as the core and five service platforms as the main work.

        Dynamic changes in carbohydrate metabolism and endogenous hormones during Tulipa edulis stolon development into a new bulb

        The stolon is the main asexual reproductive organ of Tulipa edulis (Miq.) Baker. It has a special morphology and can develop into a new bulb for propagation. In the current greenhouse experiment, the dynamic changes in carbohydrates and related enzymes, protein and endogenous hormones during T. edulis stolon development were investigated. The results showed that soluble sugar levels were basically declining, whereas starch and protein content rose continuously during stolon development. The adenosine diphosphoglucose pyrophosphorylase (AGPase) activity peaked in the initial swelling stage and stayed a relative high level in the middle swelling stage; sucrose synthase (SS), soluble starch synthase (SSS) and granule-bound starch synthase (GBSS) activities followed the same law that showed rising trends during stolon development. SS activity was significantly inversely related to sucrose content but had significantly positive relations with starch content, SSS and GBSS activities. Gibberellin (GA), indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and zeatin riboside (ZR) peaked in the initial swelling stage and maintained high levels in the middle swelling stage; they then decreased significantly in the later swelling stage. A substantial increase was observed in abscisic acid (ABA) content until the middle swelling stage, followed by a significant reduction in the later swelling stage. The ratios of ABA to IAA, GA and ZR reached their lowest levels in the initial swelling stage. In conclusion, T. edulis stolon development is a process of new bulb morphogenesis along with the starch accumulation catalyzed by AGPase, SSS and GBSS, using the product of sucrose cleavage caused by SS. Initial low ABA content and low ratios of ABA to IAA, GA and ZR, together with the GA, IAA and ZR of high-content, soluble sugars worked more efficiently to induce new bulb formation.

        DHA-enriched phosphatidylcholine suppressed angiogenesis by activating PPARγ and modulating the VEGFR2/Ras/ERK pathway in human umbilical vein endothelial cells

        Docosahexaenoic acid-enriched phosphatidylcholine(DHA-PC) is a new generation of omega-3 lipids,which contains an ester bond linking DHA at the sn-2position of phospholipid. DHA-PC has become the interestrecently as its better bioavailability and anti-oxidationcapacity. In this study, the anti-angiogenic effect of DHAPCwas evaluated. The capacities of proliferation, migration,tube formation of human umbilical vein endothelialcells were significantly declined after DHA-PC treatment. Furthermore, DHA-PC inhibited the neovascularization ofthe chick chorioallantoic membrane in vivo. Mechanismresults indicated that DHA-PC enhances the expression ofperoxisome proliferator-activated receptor c (PPARc) attranscriptional and translational level, subsequently downregulatesthe VEGFR2 expression and VEGFR2-mediateddownstream Ras/ERK pathway, resulting in significantreduction in proliferation and differentiation. Additionally,PPARc-specific antagonist GW9662 partly reversed theinhibition effects of DHA-PC on tube formation and neovascularization,suggesting that DHA-PC exerts anti-angiogenesiseffect through activating PPARc. Thesefindings indicated that DHA-PC has a great prospect ofanti-tumor angiogenesis therapy.

        Experimental Analysis of Vertical Deformation and Bearing Characteristics of Bridge Piles in High and Steep Slopes

        More and more rigid frame bridges with high piers and large spans are built in the high and steep slope areas of deep valleys in southwest China. The slow deformation of the slope in the geological sense often causes the problems of piles, which in turn causes damage of the upper bridges. The vertical bearing characteristics of bridge piles in slope still need to be conducted because of the peculiarity of slope topography. The vertical deformation and bearing characteristics of piles in the slope area were experimentally studied by considering different influencing factors and the fitting formula for the ultimate bearing capacity of the piles under vertical load is obtained. The results show that the vertical deformation and ultimate bearing capacity (defined by vertical limit settlement deformation of 0.013 times the pile diameter) of the pile are closely related to its position in the slope. The pile in the middle of the slope has the lowest vertical ultimate bearing capacity. Moreover, the side frictional resistance transfer depth of the pile in continuous slope is greater than that of the pile in unilateral slope. Additionally, the slope angle has a significant influence on the vertical bearing performance of piles. The delayed settlement of the pile top decreases approximately 40% at most and the vertical ultimate bearing capacity of the pile increases 48.6% at most as the slope angle decreases by 15°. Meanwhile, the side friction resistance of the pile increases with the decrease of slope angle. The bending moment applied to the pile top reduces the vertical ultimate bearing capacity of the pile and increases the axial force of the pile body. The results can provide data support for pile design and instability judgment with similar geological conditions.

        VDR promotes testosterone synthesis in mouse Leydig cells via regulation of cholesterol side chain cleavage cytochrome P450 (Cyp11a1) expression

        Background The vitamin D receptor (VDR) mediates the pleiotropic biological actions that include osteoporosis, immune responses and androgen synthesis.VDR is widely expressed in testis cells such as Leydig cells, Sertoli cells, and sperm. The levels of steroids are critical for sexual development. In the early stage of steroidogenesis, cholesterol is converted to pregnenolone (precursor of most steroid hormones) by cholesterol side-chain lyase (CYP11A1), which eventually synthesizes the male hormone testosterone. Objective This study aims to reveal how VDR regulates CYP11A1 expression and affects testosterone synthesis in murine Leydig cells. Methods The levels of VDR, CYP11A1 were determined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) or western blot. Targeted relationship between VDR and Cyp11a1 was evaluated by dual-luciferase reporter assay. The levels of testosterone concentrations in cell culture media serum by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results Phylogenetic and motif analysis showed that the Cyp11a1 family had sequence loss, which may have special biological functions during evolution. The results of promoter prediction showed that vitamin D response element (VDRE) existed in the upstream promoter region of murine Cyp11a1. Dual-luciferase assay confirmed that VDR could bind candidate VDREs in upstream region of Cyp11a1, and enhance gene expression. Tissue distribution and localizatio analysis showed that Cyp11a1 was mainly expressed in testis, and dominantly existed in murine Leydig cells. Furthermore, over-expression VDR and CYP11A1 significantly increased testosterone synthesis in mice Leydig cells. Conclusions Active vitamin D3 (VD3) and Vdr interference treatment showed that VD3/VDR had a positive regulatory effect on Cyp11a1 expression and testosterone secretion. VDR promotes testosterone synthesis in male mice by up-regulating Cyp11a1 expression, which played an important role for male reproduction.

        Fabrication of Composite Polymer Foam Films at the Liquid/Liquid Interface through Emulsion-Directed Assembly and Adsorption Processes

        <P>The foam films of polystyrene-<I>b</I>-poly(acrylic acid)-<I>b</I>-polystyrene (PS-<I>b</I>-PAA-<I>b</I>-PS) doped with Cd(II) or Pb(II) species were fabricated at the planar liquid/liquid interfaces between a DMF/chloroform (v/v: 1/1) solution of the polymer and aqueous solutions containing cadmium acetate or lead acetate at ambient temperature. Optical microscopic observation shows the thin film is uniform on a larger length scale. Transmission electron microscopic (TEM) investigations reveal that the foam films are made up of microcapsules with the size of several hundreds of nanometers to micrometers. The walls of the microcapsules have a layered structure decorating with nanofibers and hollow nanospheres, where numerous inorganic fine nanoparticles are dispersed homogeneously. The film formation is a result of emulsion droplet-templated assembly and adsorption of the formed microcapsules at the planar liquid/liquid interface. Because of the miscibility of DMF with chloroform and water, DMF migrates to the aqueous phase while water migrates to the organic phase across the interface, resulting in the formation of a W/O emulsion, as revealed by optical microscopic observation, freeze fracture transmission electron microscopic (FF-TEM) observation, and dynamic laser scattering (DLS) investigation. The triblock copolymer molecules and the inorganic species adsorb and self-assemble around the emulsion drops, leading to the formation of the composite microcapsules. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) and FTIR spectroscopic results indicate that two kinds of Cd(II) or Pb(II) species, metal oxide or hydroxide, resulting from the hydrolysis of the metal ions and the coordinated metal ions to the carboxyl groups coexist in the formed thin films, which transform to metal sulfide completely after treating with hydrogen sulfide to get metal sulfide nanoparticle-doped polymer thin films.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/langd5/2014/langd5.2014.30.issue-8/la500187d/production/images/medium/la-2014-00187d_0012.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/la500187d'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>
