High efficient semantic segmentation for autonomous vehicle

The Image segmentation algorithm has significantly improved by deep learning. However, high accuracy trades off huge computational costs and is therefore not suitable for the limited resource of autonomous driving vehicle. We propose a deep learning framework for image segmentation that is efficient enough for an autonomous driving vehicle environment while maintaining high accuracy and speed. Our proposed work achieves high segmentation accuracy at Cityscape public dataset and our private test dataset. At the same time, the frame rate is high enough for deployment in autonomous vehicles.
Balanced bitrate control of multiple videos in transcoding for multi-view service

In this paper, a balanced bitrate control in transcoding process based on video complexity measure for multi-view system which simultaneously shows multiple channels or video contents in single screen, is proposed. In order to consider the total quality of multiple video streams, the proposed algorithm reduces the complexity of multiple video stream and video quality differences at the same time by controlling bitrates of each stream by weighting when they are stitched for single screen. For the measure of complexity and quality differences between video streams, two different data: histogram of macroblock type and bitrate for each stream are used. The experimental result indicates that proposed algorithm decreases fluctuation of quality difference between videos in the multi-view system.

The excessive need of power is creating an unbalance situation in power sector, where solar energy is one of the best solutions among other energy sources to mitigate this demand. It is globally accepted because of its flexibility and long life compared to others. A lot research is going on to enhance the energy efficiency by introducing photovoltaic (PV) power generation technology, but still irradiation of PV power is the major problem. In this manuscript, we have designed PV module using single diode methodology and also the solar conversion efficiency was boosted with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) by using perturb and observe (P&O) algorithm. The simulation was done for $1000W/m^2$ and $800W/m^2$ at solar irradiance in cell temperature of 25C and 40C degree levels in PSIM tool.
Trends in international investment flows : Foreign direct investment in Mongolia

Despite the worldwide stagnation in FDI, interest in Mongolia on the part of foreign investors, especially those from East Asia and North America, has grown over the last few years, mainly in the mining, trade and service sectors. The increase of FDI into Mongolia can be linked with the Mongolian government's efforts to establish a more favorable external and internal legal environment in order to provide a free and open regime for business, the shifting tendency of world market center from traditional Europe, America to Asia, namely to China, resolving the "big debt" issue between Mongolia and Russian Federation which open new favorable opportunities for intensification of foreign investment inflows, increased domestic private savings and lastly Mongolia's GDP steady growth rate during last years. The purpose of this paper is to review FDI inflows into Mongolia, detailing the sectors benefiting from this investment and the countries where it originates, based on information gathered in the period up to 2005.
