        한·중 대학 핵심역량교육 비교연구

        This study attempts to present implications for class quality enhancement through comparative analysis of educational course organization and management processes based on key competencies and the key competency establishment of 4 universities in Korea and China. For this, the cases of 2 universities in capitals area which aim to be world class universities in Korea and China and 2 universities aiming towards the cultivation of creative global leaders were comparatively analyzed. Research results showed that, first, all the selected Korean and Chinese universities established key competencies based on concepts of talent and deduced associated sub-competencies. Second, Korean universities were managing educational courses based on key competencies through systematic organization but Chinese universities were insufficiently applying key competencies to educational courses and constructing structure. Third, Korean universities developed key competency measurement tools to make measurements every year periodically and associated results were being used as performance indicators of educational courses and were being reflected onto subsequent educational courses but Chinese universities were making measurements for each university using the national unit study ‘CSSA’ and this was being used as base learning material for students as big data. It is suggested that these research results can be used for the quality management of education in general such as by Korean universities in strengthening utilization plans of comparative educational course management results and by Chinese universities in the development of autonomous measurement tools. 본 연구는 한·중 4개 대학의 핵심역량 설정과 핵심역량을 기반으로 하는 교육과정의 편성과 운영과정에 대한 비교 분석을 통해 수업 질 향상을 위한 시사점을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한·중 양국의 세계일류를 지향하는 수도권 2개 대학과 창의성 글로벌 리더양성을 목표로 하고 있는 2개 대학을 선정하여 사례를 비교분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 선정 된 한·중 대학 모두 인재상에 기반하여 핵심역량을 설정하고 이에 대한 하위역량을 도출하였다. 둘째, 한국대학교는 핵심역량에 기반 한 교육과정을 체계적으로 편성하여 운영하고 있었으나, 중국대학교는 핵심역량을 교육과정에 적용하고 체계를 구축하는데는 미흡하였다. 셋째, 한국대학은 핵심역량측정도구를 개발하여 매년, 주기적으로 측정하고 있었으며, 이에 대한 결과를 교육과 정에 성과지표로 활용되어 차기 교육과정에 반영하고 있었으나, 중국대학은 국가 단위별 연구 ‘CSSA’를 활용하여 대학별 측정이 이루지고, 이것이 빅데이터로 학생 학습기초 자료로 활용되고 있었다. 연구 결과에 기초하여, 한국대학은 비교과교육과정운영 결과에 대한 활용 방안 강화, 중국대학은 자체적인 측정도구를 개발하여 전반적인 교육의 질 관리에 활용할 것을 제안하고 있다.

        Biological characterization of mesenchymal stem cells from bovine umbilical cord

        Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multi-potential cells that are able to proliferate and differentiate into othercell types. Much research has been done on the MSCs from the umbilical cord (UCMSCs) in human, mice, andavian, but little literature has been published about these cells in big livestock. Here, we choose Luxi cattle asthe experimental animal, we describe an external culture of the UCMSCs from it and summarize the biologicalcharacteristics of these cells, e.g., morphologic appearance, surface antigens, colony-forming ability, geneexpression, and differentiation potential were detected via using immunofluorescence and reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The induced cells, osteoblast, lipoblast, hepatocyte, islet cells, andneurocyte were identified by Alizarin red staining, Oil-red-O staining, Periodic acid-schiff staining, andDithizone staining and RT-PCR detection for specific genes. Results suggest that biological characteristics ofthe UCMSCs were similar to those of MSCs previously analyzed. The primary UCMSCs were sub-cultured topassage 32, the UCMSCs expressed gene CD29, CD44, CD73, CD90, and CD166, induced cells illustratedtypical staining, and expressed specific genes, which indicate that the UCMSCs could be a novel alternativesource of MSCs for experimental and clinical applications.
