NOTE ON SOME CHARACTER FORMULAS
Chaudhary, Mahendra Pal,Chaudhary, Sangeeta,Choi, Junesang The Honam Mathematical Society 2016 호남수학학술지 Vol.38 No.4
Chaudhary and Choi [7] presented 14 identities which reveal certain interesting interrelations among character formulas, combinatorial partition identities and continued partition identities. In this sequel, we aim to give slightly modified versions for 8 identities which are chosen among the above-mentioned 14 formulas.

In‐band phase deviation minimization method for wideband tunable phase shifter
Chaudhary, Girdhari,An, Boram,Jeong, Yongchae John Wiley Sons, Inc. 2019 MICROWAVE AND OPTICAL TECHNOLOGY LETTERS Vol.61 No.2

Abstract

This article provides a novel approach to analyze and design wideband tunable reflection‐type phase shifter (RTPS) with low in‐band phase deviation (IBPD) error. The proposed RTPS consists of coupled lines where through and coupled ports are terminated with varactor diodes. The coupled lines can minimize the parasitic elements of varactor diode to achieve high phase shift range (PSR). In addition, the measured frequency‐dependent capacitance of varactor diode was used in the analytical analysis to obtain minimum IBPD error and high PSR. For experimental demonstration, phase shifter was fabricated at the center frequency of 2.5 GHz. The measured results show that the fabricated circuit achieved 126.85° PSR with ±6.48° IBPD error for 500 MHz bandwidth (BW). In addition, the measured maximum insertion loss variation and input/output return losses are within ±0.34 dB and higher than 16.85 dB within 500 MHz BW, respectively.

Effect of Replacing Grain with Deoiled Rice Bran and Molasses from the Diet of Lactating Cows
Chaudhary, L.C.,Sahoo, A.,Agarwal, Neeta,Kamra, D.N.,Pathak, N.N. Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2001 Animal Bioscience Vol.14 No.5
The effect of feeding concentrate mixture devoid of grain on the performance of crossbred dairy cows was studied. Twelve crossbred cows of first/second lactation were randomly distributed into two equal groups. The animals of group 1 were fed on a concentrate mixture containing 30% maize grain whereas, the cows of group 2 were offered a concentrate mixture where grain was completely replaced with deoiled rice bran (DORB) and molasses. Wheat straw was given ad libitum to the cows of both the groups. The feeding was continued for 112 days. The intake of dry matter, CP and TDN were similar in both the groups. Digestibility of DM, OM, EE, NDF and ADF were also comparable between the groups. The average daily fat corrected milk (FCM) yield was 7.70 kg and 7.43 kg in group 1 and 2, respectively. The chemical composition of milk (protein, fat and total solids) also remained unaffected. The animals of both the groups gained 9-10 kg body weight which indicates that both the diets were nutritionally adequate and grain can be successfully replaced with DORB and molasses from the diet to sustain about 6-7 kg FCM production.
Tightly regulated and high level expression vector construction for Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3)
Chaudhary, A.K.,Lee, E.Y. Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemi 2015 Journal of industrial and engineering chemistry Vol.31 No.-
A 474-bp ds-DNA linker-A containing all bio-parts was designed to construct tightly inducible expression vector, pNB1, for Escherichia coli. The cymR repressor expressed constitutively under pGapA promoter binds cumate operator, thus repressing the expression of target gene under T7 promoter. The potential of pNB1 was evaluated by comparing the fluorescence of green fluorescence proteins (GFP) in pNB1 and other expression system induced with cumate and isopropyl β-d-1-thiogalactopyranoside (IPTG), respectively. Compared to IPTG, cumate was found to be less toxic to bacterial cells with 2.5-fold increment in GFP expression. In addition, pNB1 was efficient in expressing GFP at low temperature.
Dyella agri sp. nov., isolated from reclaimed grassland soil
Chaudhary, Dhiraj Kumar,Kim, Jaisoo Microbiology Society 2017 International journal of systematic and evolutiona Vol.67 No.10

A novel strain, DKC-1(T), was isolated from reclaimed grassland soil and was characterized taxonomically by a polyphasic approach. Strain DKC-1(T) was a Gram-staining-negative, light-yellow-coloured and rod shaped bacterium, motile with polar flagellum. It was able to grow at 20-37 degrees C, at pH 4.5-9.0 and with 0-3 % (w/v) NaCl concentration. Based on the 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis, strain DKC-1T formed a Glade within the members of the genus Dyella and showed highest sequence similarities to Dyella japonica XD53(T) (98.36 %), Rhodanobacter aciditrophus sjH1(T) (97.92 %), Rhodanobacter koreensis THG-DD7(T) (97.74 %), Dyella kyungheensis THG-B117(T) (97.65 %) and Rhodanobacter terrae GP18-1(T) (97.40 %). The only respiratory quinone was ubiquinone-8. The major polar lipids were phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylglycerol, diphosphatidylglycerol and phosphatidyl-N-methylethanolamine. The predominant fatty acids of strain DKC-1(T) were iso-C-16:0, iso-C-15:0, summed feature 9 (iso-C-17:1 omega 9c and/or C-16:0 10-methyl), iso-C-17:0, iso-C-11:0 3-OH and iso-C-11:0. The genomic DNA G+C content of this novel strain was 63.1 mol%. The DNA DNA relatedness between strain DKC-1(T) and its reference strains (a japonica XD53(T), R. aciditrophus sjH1(T), R. koreensis THG-DD7(T), a kyungheensis THG-B117(T) and R. terrae GP18-1(T)) was 52.3, 44.7, 38.7, 49.0 and 32.7 %, respectively, which falls below the threshold value of 70 % for the strain to be considered as novel. The morphological, physiological, chemotaxonomic and phylogenetic analyses clearly distinguished this strain from its closest phylogenetic neighbours. Thus, strain DKC-1(T) represents a novel species of the genus Dyella, for which the name Dyella agri sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is DKC-1(T) (=KEMB 9005-57(T)=KACC 191 76(T)=JCM 31925(T)).
