Mizoroki@?Heck reaction over palladium nanoparticles supported on WO3
Amini, M.,Heydarloo, D.B.,Rahimi, M.,Kim, M.G.,Gautam, S.,Chae, K.H. Pergamon Press 2016 Materials research bulletin Vol.83 No.-
Palladium nanoparticles supported on metal oxide WO3were synthesized and the physicochemical properties of compounds were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy (XANES) at O and Pd K-edges, energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The catalytic activity of compounds in the carbon@?carbon coupling reactions of aryl halides with olefins (Mizoroki@?Heck reaction) was studied. The catalyst can be easily separated from the reaction mixture and reused after washing without reduction in activity.
Improved performance of cerium conversion coatings on steel with zinc phosphate post-treatment
B. Ramezanzadeh,H. Vakili,R. Amini 한국공업화학회 2015 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.30 No.-
The steel samples were pre-treated by cerium conversion layer. Then, zinc phosphate conversion coatingwas used as sealing agent for the cerium conversion layer to enhance its corrosion resistance. Thecorrosion performance and surface characteristics of the samples were characterized by electrochemicalimpedance spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Resultsrevealed that the post-treatment of the cerium conversion coating by phosphate coating significantlyincreased its corrosion resistance. A denser conversion layer with less cracks were precipitated on thesteel surface after post-treatment by zinc phosphate. The surface free energy was significantly increasedafter post-treatment by zinc phosphate.
The Effect of Anisotropy on Thin-Walled Tube Bending
K. Hasanpour,B. Amini,M. Poursina,M. Barati 한국소성가공학회 2011 기타자료 Vol.2011 No.8
Thin-walled tube bending has found many of its applications in the automobile and aerospace industries. The rotary-draw-bending method which is a complex physical process with multi-factor interactive effects is one of the advanced tube forming processes with high efficiency, high forming precision, low consumption and good flexibility for bending angle changes. However it may produce a wrinkling phenomenon, over thinning and cross-section distortion if the process parameters are inappropriate. Wrinkles propagate permanently in thin-walled tube, but finally, localize in a finite zone and lead to failure. The prediction of wrinkling in thin-walled tube bending processes has been a challenging topic. In this paper, firstly, the plastic deforming behavior and wrinkling mechanism for a thin-walled tube is simulated and the results will compare with the available experimental ones. Then, the effect of anisotropy on ovalization, thickness and wrinkling of tube will be investigated using FEM. Extensive numerical results are presented showing the effects of the various kinds of materials and geometric parameters on wrinkling using anisotropic yield function.

The impact of 1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (BMIM-Cl) ionic liquid for effective graphene oxide(GO) nanosheets dispersion improvement in the epoxy coating was studied. The BMIM-Cl adsorption onthe GO sheets was investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis andUV–vis spectroscopy. The effect of GO-BMIM-Cl on the corrosion resistance of the epoxy coating wasstudied by EIS and salt spray test. In addition, the inhibition role of BMIM-Cl toward mild steel corrosionin saline solution was evaluated by EIS and polarization test. Results confirmed that the BMIM-Cladsorption on the GO surface significantly enhanced the epoxy coating protection properties.
