        국제회의 의전교육 프로그램에 관한 기초연구

        국제회의에서 VIP만족도가 큰 영향을 미치면서 의전의 중요성이 부각되고 있으나 의전에 대한 전문성 결여와 교육 부족은 VIP 참가자의 만족도에 큰 영향을 미친다 본 연구는 국제회의 의전 교육 프로그램의 현황과 문제점을 파악하고, 이에 도출 된 문제점을 토대로 국제회의 의전교육 프로그램에서 가장 필요한 교육내용과 교육방법을 분석하여 국제회의 전문가들에게 요구되는 체계적이고 효과적인 의전교육프로그램 모델을 제시하고자한다 본 연구결과, 국제회의 의전 교육 프로그램은 이론내용과 실무내용으로 분류하였다. 이론 교육내용은 국제화 태도, 의전서열, 의전관리능력, 외국문화의 이해, 연 회, 국가의전행사, 영접절차, 의전관련법규, 국제회의 의전개론에 관한 내용이며, 실무 교육 내용으로는 외국어교육, 현장실습, 국제회의 의전실무, Protocol매너(에 티켓), 연회, 외식, 국가의전과 사교예절, 정보화교육, 고객응대실무교육 내용이다. 의전실무 교육 프로그램에서 가장 중요시할 과목으로는 외국어 교육, 의전상황실 습, 국제회의 의전실무 이며, 이론 보다는 실무가 더 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 교육방법은 의전의 목적과 내용 및 대상자의 특성에 따라 토의법, 관찰법, 역할 연기법, 현장실습 등 그에 적합한 교육방법을 선택하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 국제회의 의전 교육 프로그램의 기초 자료로 제공하고자 한다. Though the satisfaction measurement of VIP in the international conference is occupying a great part in the increased emphasis on the importance of protocol. the lack of professionalism and education in regards to protocol may have a negative effect not only on the satisfaction measurement of VIP but also on the nation's image The purpose of this research is to provide source material for developing the systematical and effective curriculum which is required by the people responsible for protocol at the international conference protocol industry. In this pursuit. analysis of problems and presentation of situation of international conference protocol training as well as analysis of the most necessary contents of training for the international protocol training program based on the current situation are required This research is divided into two parts; contents of theory and contents of training. Contents of theory in international conference protocol is composed of attitude toward globalization, protocol precedence, ability of protocol management, understanding of foreign culture, banquet, international protocol conference, reception procedure, regulation of protocol. and introduction of international conference protocol. The contents of training of international conference protocol is composed of foreign language, on-the-job-training, practical affair of international conference protocol, protocol etiquette, banquet, national protocol and social etiquette, and customer services The most important contents in the international protocol program are foreign language, situation training of protocol and practical affair of international conference protocol. However, it has been shown that the practical training is ultimately more important than theory training Furthermore, the training should be selectively tailored to the specific character of the trainee in regards to implementation of such methods as discussion, observation, role playing, and situation training The purpose of this research is to establish basic fundamental curriculum of effective training materials for the task of international protocol conference

        외국인이 인지하는 한국인의 문화간 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션의 장애요인에 관한 연구

        세계화, 정보화된 현대사회에서는 문화간 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션이 비즈니스의 핵심역량으로 부각되었다. 문화간 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션이란 비즈니스 환경에서 다른 문화적 배경을 가진 개인 혹은 집단 간의 커뮤니케이션을 뜻한다. 한국에서도 다국적기업의 증가 및 국내기업에서의 외국과의 비즈니스 증대로 인해 문화간 커뮤니케이션의 빈도 및 중요성은 증가하고 있으나 한국인의 역사적 배경과 민족 문화적 특성으로 인해 외국인과의 문화간 커뮤니케이션에 많은 장애를 보이고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 영어로 이루어지는 다국적기업의 국제회의에서 나타나는 한국인의 문화간 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션의 장애요인을 외국인의 관점으로 파악함으로써 원활한 문화간 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션을 위한 개선점을 모색해보고자 하였다. 이에 다국적기업에 근무 중이며 한국인과의 국제회의 경험을 가진 외국인 23명과 심층인터뷰를 실시한 결과, 국제회의에서 한국인의 문화간 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션 장애요인은 회의 요인, 문화적 요인, 언어적 요인, 비언어적 요인의 순으로 나타났으며 각 장애요소들은 별개가 아니라 상호작용을 하며 밀접히 연관되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 장애요인을 개선하기 위한 방법은 영어커뮤니케이션 능력 함양, 회의커뮤니케이션 능력 개발, 이문화 수용으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기업 국제회의 연구의 기초자료로서 비서직을 포함한 기업의 한국직원들이 문화간 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션 역량을 강화하는데 올바른 방향을 제시해 줄 수 있을 것이다. Intercultural business communication capacities have become a core competency in the business world. Also, in Korea, as the numbers of multinational companies and cross-border business activities have rapidly increased, the importance of intercultural communication is highly valued. However, due to the national and historic traits, Koreans have many difficulties in doing intercultural business communication in the business world. In this regards, the purpose of this study are two-fold : Firstly, to identify Koreans' communications barriers in international meetings of the multinational companies from the foreigners' point of view. Secondly, to find feasible solutions to enhance the intercultural business communication competency of Koreans. In-depth interviews were conducted with 23 foreigners. As a result of the analysis, four communication factors were identified as barriers in Koreans' business communication at international meetings: namely, the verbal factor, the non-verbal factor, the meeting factor and the cultural factor. Analysis also indicates that all those factors do not exist separately but are closely connected to other factors. As a next stage, a solution to improve Koreans' intercultural business communication was then sought. Firstly, English communication should be reinforced. Secondly, effective meeting communication capabilities should be gained. Thirdly, Koreans need to understand and learn other cultures without any bias. As a fundamental data, this study can provide Korean companies with the right direction to plan the language training to enhance their employees' business communication competency.

        특정목적의 영어학습을 위한 내용 중심의 언어교수법에 관한 연구

        This article proposes Content-based Instruction (CBI) as a more effective approach in the teaching of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to meet current demands of using English in a global context. As an alternative Business English course for the students of international office management department, CBI is used in ESP(English for Specific Purposes) university setting. Some characteristics and issues of Content-based Instruction is explored and its implications to ESP curriculum development is also included. Yet, if successful Content-based Instruction is to be realized, careful planning and coordination of the entire curriculum should be arranged to the learner's needs. In-class implications and course evaluation for CEI is also included for further discussions. In this study, CEI is recommended for an effective ESP curriculum design.

        비서의 셀프리더십이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향

        21세기 비서의 역할은 상사의 보좌 업무에서 사무관리자로서 역할이 확대되고 있다. 사무관리자로서의 역할을 수행하기 위해서는 직업의식, 책임감과 더불어 미래 지향적인 사고를 가지고 자신의 직업 분야에서 앞서 나가기 위해 자신의 역량을 계발하도록 노력해야 한다. 이러한 변화에 적응하고 자신의 가치를 극대화하기 위해 자기 계발의 도구로써 셀프리더십은 변화된 비서의 역할을 수행하기 위해 매우 중요하며, 직무만족과 조직몰입에 매우 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 비서직 종사자들의 셀프리더십이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증분석을 실시하였다. 비서의 셀프리더십의 하위요인인 행동적 전략과 인지적 전략은 직무만족에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 조직몰입에 대해서는 인지적 전략만이 유의한 영향을 나타내었다. 인지적 전략을 적극 활용하기 위해서는 비서직 종사자의 커뮤니티 활동, 멘토링, 비서협회 세미나 등 다양한 교류 활동이 필요하다. 조직 차원에서도 비서의 셀프리더십 극대화를 위한 방안이 필요하다. 본 연구를 통해 비서직 종사자들이 셀프리더십의 중요성을 인식하고 비서의 자기계발에 적극 참여할 수 있는 계기가 마련될 것이며, 비서의 셀프리더십을 향상시킬 수 있는 도구개발 및 인적자원 개발 교육의 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. In the 21st century, the role of the secretary is expanding from the role of assistance to that of overall office administration. In line with this role enlargement, it is necessary to equip office administrators with a proactive mind toward their activities as well as job commitments and responsibilities. It is important for secretaries to have self-leadership as a means to enhance self-development to adjust to the new role such self-leadership is an important influence on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In this study, data analysis was conducted regarding the influence of secretary self-leadership on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Secretary self-leadership was defined to denote the overall self-leadership behavior of secretaries. The results of the analysis show positive correlations between the two factors of self-leadership, viz., behavioral strategies and cognitive thinking, and those of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study will lead to an awareness of the importance of secretary self-leadership for self-development and job satisfaction in understanding the context of changing office environments and the roles of secretaries.

        This paper determines 1D shear wave velocity (Vs) distribution of rockfill zone of CFRD using Vs profile determined by the surface wave test. There exists uncertainty in the field test result because of a spatial variation of material property. The harmonic wavelet transform is used to evaluate the uncertainty of test result and generate random 1D Vs distributions which may exist in the rock fill zone. Through the statistical analysis of generated random Vs distributions, the representative 1D Vs distribution considering the uncertainty of test results is proposed for the rockfill zone of CFRD in Korea.

        프랑스 문화예술교육 정책 및 프로그램에 관한 고찰

        In this paper, the culture and art education policies and its programs in France is introduced via 1980s in which the active cooperation between the ministry of culture and education was made under the influence of minister of culture, Jack Lang. Although the foundations of French cultural policies began with the democratization of culture by Andre Malo who was a minister of culture in 1960s, his failure of democratization of culture was made by ignoring the educational aspects of culture and art. In 1980s Jack Lang introduced a new concept of culture including the diverse areas of everyday lifestyles and emphasized its importance of educational aspects in terms of culture and art policies in France. The principles of culture and art education policies in France was represented as the following concepts: first, the education of culture and art shouldn``t be limited in the area of art-related subjects only and should include diverse areas of culture. Second, the emphasis of culture and art education shouldn``t be limited in school mandatory subjects but to extend the level of adults continuing education. The purposes of French culture and art education were emphasized as the following concepts: the education of analytic esthetic emotions, the elimination of cultural and social inequalities, the empasis of cultural diversity, and the emphasis of multiplicate abilities, i.e. analytic abilities and expressive abilities. Two major culture and art education policy national development plans were made in the year 2000 and 2005 in France and the core characteristics of its culture and art education policies in France was represented as the following concepts: first, the education of culture and art is governed and influenced by the cooperation of education and culture ministries up to the regional DRACs through their emphasis of culture and art education in schools as a mandatory subjects. Second, the expansion of culture and education categories include diverse areas of culture, i.e. theater, cinema, art history, circus, dance, architecture, science and technologies. More field-oriented diverse classroom projects and programs were introduced via active partnership between the classroom teachers, content area specialists, artists and professionals from the local art and culture related institutes. In this study, case studies from the field experience were introduced as the following: Class of PAC, Ateliers Artistique, Art Residence Program. Bobini Culture and Art Education Program, Culture Class and Cinema. The current issues were explored as the following: the culture and art education impact evaluation system, partnership education program between the classroom teachers, artists and the professionals working in the regional culture and art institutes, the continuing education of current culture and art education attendees, decentralization and regional culture and art education. As to the culture and art impacts on educational achievements, it contains the problems of evaluation. It is necessary to develop a systematic education programs for the classroom teachers, artists and the professionals in the culture and art institutes or academies, Another issue of problem is the need of adults`` continuing education of culture and art education as well as the school education for young students. The importance of regional developments of culture and art education via DRAC and its cooperative regional government is also introduced. The in-depth studies on the area of culture and art education policies and its program case studies of France are needed for its further studies to be applied in establishing Korean culture and art education policies. The key issues from this study need to be explored in scrutiny.

        한국인 비서와 외국인 상사간의 문화간 커뮤니케이션 갈등요인에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 한국인 비서와 외국인 상사간의 갈등 요인에 대해 알아보고 비서의 문화간 커뮤니케이션 갈등 해소를 위한 능력을 향상을 위한 자료를 제시하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 외국인 상사와 일하는 한국비서 15명을 대상으로 하여 총 23명의 심층 인터뷰를 통해 연구를 실시하였고, 인터뷰 응답은 내용 분석법을 사용하여 요인을 도출하였으며 이를 문화적 요인, 커뮤니케이션 요인, 업무적 요인, 기타 요인으로 나누었다. 문화적 요인의 부정적 갈등 요인은 지위, 고정관념, 중간적 입장, 문화의 역이용, 개인주의 등으로 나타났으며 긍정적 갈등 요인으로 한국 문화의 이해, 타 문화의 이해, 개방성, 비서존중 등이 나타났다. 이는 상사의 한국 문화에 대한 이해도에 따라 갈등이 나타나는 결과를 보여주고 있다. 커뮤니케이션 요인에서는 커뮤니케이션 패턴과 영어, 두 가지 요인이 나타났다. 이는 영어로 인한 언어적 요인 뿐 아니라 상사와 비서가 얼마나 원활하고 수평적으로 커뮤니케이션을 하느냐 즉, 커뮤니케이션 패턴이 주요 요인임을 의미하고 있다. 업무 요인에서 나타난 부정적 갈등 요인은 업무 모호, 업무 정의, 업무 방식 등으로 나타났으며 긍정적 갈등 요인으로는 비서 업무. 비서 개념, 보상 등이 있었다. 또한 기타 요인은 성격 요인이 높은 빈도를 나타내었으며, 상호 관계, 경험, 상사의 체류기간 등이 긍정적 갈등 요인으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 인터뷰를 하면서 생긴 새로운 이슈가 요인화 되었는데 이는 연구 방법의 특성상 예상치 못한 요인이 추가되었고, 이를 잠재적 요인으로 추가하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 한국인 비서와 외국인 상사간의 커뮤니케이션 갈등 요인은 문화적 요인 이외에 문화 이외의 요인들도 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 특히 성격 요인은 중요한 요인으로 나타났으며 아울러 외국인 상사가 한국 문화를 수용하고 비서도 외국인 상사의 문화에 대해 이해할 때 갈등이 일어나지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 외국인 상사와 한국인 비서의 적극적이며 수평적인 커뮤니케이션은 갈등을 방지할 수 있는 중요한 요인임을 알려주고 있다. The purpose of this study is to find out the intercultural communication conflict factors between Korean administrative professionals and their foreign supervisors. To exam the conflict factors. in-depth interviewing (qualitative method) is conducted. The subjects of the study are 15 administrative professionals who work with foreign supervisors. 4 administrative professionals who work with Korean supervisors. The main interview questions are as following: "Do you have conflict with your foreign supervisor?" and "Why do you have conflict with your foreign supervisor?". For data analysis, contents analysis was employed. As a result, many issues were identified and these issues were categorized to four groups of factors, they are cultural factors. communication factors. work-related factors and other factors. According to this research, non-cultural factors. especially personality would affect the conflict with cultural factors. Also the way to communicate between supervisor and administrative professional is a consequence factor. In terms of culture, understanding each other and accept other culture should prevent to have conflict. Even though this study conducted by small size of subjects and one way research which did not regard supervisor's side, it reveals that many factors are affected conflict between administrative professionals and supervisors. This study provides a guideline for future or current administrative professionals who would be working in the multicultural environment and also related studies in this field should conduct.

        국가주도형 프랑스 문화정책과 시사점

        In this paper, the direct state intervention cultural policy in France is introduced via the era of Andre Malreaux and Jack Lang. In France, the national government takes a leading role in supporting its culture policy and has a traditional form of direct state intervention. In 1959, De Gaulle set up a ministry of culture under Andre Malreaux who became a first minister of culture for 10 years. Malo presented his basic policy as democratization of culturein which the local public could meet the arts in the ``Houses of Cultures``via decentralization. However, he could not complete his democratization of culture policy into success by ignoring the class and level of general public in the region and importing a notion of Parisian notion of aesthetic excellence. He created a regional administrative body as DRAC(Regional Directorates of Cultural Affairs) to be a valuable intermediaries connecting the state and the region in 1969 and later became an important administrative post in France. As to the era of socialist government of Francois Mitterand, France enters a new era of modernization of culture policy via Lang who became a minister of culture for 12 years. Lang had a broader definition of culture by supporting mass culture including the concept of ``everything is a culture``. This notion of culture includes a wide variety of area including the everyday lifestyle of the people. His policy encourages amateur cultural activities to break down the hierarchy of existing between the fine and low art. He supported the art of common people to boom the economy. He also constructed many facilities for the mass culture including the first Rock Concert Hall, national center for Photographic art and creating International comic festivals. The most striking projects were undertaken under Mitterand``s Grand Project including the Grand Louvre, the National Library, the Opera Bastille and the Grand Arch to use enormous budgets during the era. Because of this Grand Project, Lang had to confront the problems of lack of funding for his diverse cultural programs. Two most important concepts of cultural policy in France during this two era were ``democratization of culture`` and those of ``decentralization``. In this study, the actual key concepts were compared during this era of Malo and Lang``s. Since these two ministers had both a close relationship with their presidents to enable to carry utmost cultural projects in their times, the direct state intervention of cultural policy model was reached to its peak during this time period. Even if the French model of state intervention received many criticism around the world, the general public, the government, and its regional government of France, all of them had a concept of ``French Cultural Exception`` which was represented in GATT 1993. As to most people in France, the culture is the very asset of the nation to be preserved, protected, and encouraged to be created. In this time of globalization and the era of technological information society, the power of culture is still the center of attention of government, region and the people as their national asset. It is widely considered on both Right or Left from Malreaux to Lang, the culture is the national asset of France while the State and the ministry of culture to be the major agents in the active support of cultural programs and projects whether the fine arts or to the comics or the street level performances. The in-depth study on the area of cultural policy is needed for its further studies to be applied in establishing Korean cultural policies confronting the era of globalization while to keep our nation``s identity. The key issues from this study need to be explored in scrutiny.

        신경증에 걸린 고전소설의 인물들 < 주생전 >의 배도, < 운영전 >의 안평대군과 유영을 대상으로

        This study analysed the three characters such as Baedo in < Jusangjeon >, Anpeungdaegun and Yuyeung in < Unyougjeon > who are suffering from different types of neurosis, according to Karen Horney``s neurosis theory. The giseng, Baedo is an obedient type who tends to behave towards the people. The type of person like Baedo has the characteristics of considering the love as a fantastic solution to solve all the practical and psychological problems. But Baedo``s love for Jusang is contradictory. Because the dedicated-sacrificial aspects and the directive-aggressive aspects coexist in her attitude to him. Watching beside Jusang who is falling in the passionate love for another woman, Baedo``s inner conflict and depression are deepened and eventually lead her to self-destruction. The prince, Anpeungdaegun is an aggressive type who tends to behave against the people. The type of person like him has the characteristics of seeking fame and social success and ignoring the emotional life. Anpeungdaegun believes that he can control other``s feelings as well as his. To him, Kim Jinsa and Unyoung``s voluntary love means rebellious event. Nevertheless, Anpeungdaegun does not kill them immediately, because the Unyoung``s colleagues``s appeals move his soft inner feeling. This is also an opportunity to recognize himself truly, but he lose the chance by Unyoung``s suicide which denying his possibility of change. The poor Sunbi, Yuyeung is an avoidant type who tends to behave away from the people. The type of person like him is good at self-isolation and externalization. He believes that he is suffered by the other``s mocking behavior, rather than recognize that he wants to avoid the people desperately. When he meets Kim Jinsa and Unyoung in his dream, unlike the usual avoidance action, he approaches them actively and regards them sincerely. This would be a manifestation of the hidden desire to love and to be loved. By evoking the desire, the inner conflict in him is intensified. However, Yuyeung seals this problem with the stronger avoidance behavior and flees from the world.
