한켈 연산자를 이용한 입력 시간지연 시스템의 지연특성에 관한 연구

This paper studies on the characteristics of input delay systems, using Hankel operator theory. In first, the analytic computation of Hankel singular values and their corresponding Schmidt pairs are introduced, and then it is shown that all the Hankel singular values have a monotone increasing properties as the length of delay time increases. Furthermore, it is shown that only the ratio of the length of delay and time constant of a lumped parameter system is dependent on the Hankel singular values through a simple numerical example.

This paper describes the model identification and the discrete-time sliding mode control of electro-hydrauric servo systems which are composed of servo valves, double-rod cylinder and load mass. The controlled plant is identified as a 3th-order discrete-time ARMAX model obtained from the prediction error algorithm, where a nominal model and modeling errors are quantitatively constructed. The discrete sliding mode controller for 3th-order ARMAX model is designed in discrete-time domain, where all states are observed from Kalman filter. The discrete sliding mode controller has better tracking performance than that obtained from continuous-time sliding mode controller, in experiment.
연속 냉간 압연기의 견실제어를 위한 상태공간모델 규명에 관한 연구

This paper studies on the identification of discrete-time state-space model for robust control of cold tandem mill, using a MOESP(MIMO output-error stat-space model identification) algorithm based on subspace method. It is shown that the identified model is well adapted to input-output data sets, which are obtained from nonlinear mathematical equations of cold tandem mill. Furthermore, deterministic H??? norm bounds on uncertainties including modeling errors and disturbances are quantitatively identified in the frequency domain. Finally, the results give a basic idea to determine weighting functions included in formulating some robust control problems of cold tandem mill.

This paper identifies a discrete-time linear combustion model of Refuse Incineration Plant(RIP) which characterizes steam generation quantity, where the RIP is considered as a MIMO system with thirteen-inputs and one-output. The structure of RIP model is described as an ARX model which are analytically obtained from the combustion dynamics. Furthermore, using the Instrumental Variable(IV) identification algorithm, model structure and unknown parameters are identified from experimental input-output data sets, In result, it is shown that the identified ARX model well approximates the input-output combustion characteristics given by experimental data sets.

This paper studies on the identification of a combustion model, which is used to design a linear controller of a steam generation quantity and harmful exhaust gases of a Refuse Incineration Plant(RIP). As though the RIP has strong nonlinearities and complexities, it is identified as a MIMO parametric ARX model from experimental input-output data sets. Unknown model parameters are decided from experimental input-output data sets, using system identification algorithm based on Instrumental Variables(Ⅳ) method. In result, it is shown that the identified model well approximates the input-output combustion characteristics given by experimental data sets.
열간압연 코일러 시스템의 코일 장력에 대한 최적 서보 제어

본 논문은 열간 사상 압연기의 코일러 시스템에서 최종 스탠드를 떠난 후의 코일 미단부에 대한 장력 변동을 억제하는 최적 서보 제어기를 설계한다. 먼저 코일러 미단부에 대한 상태공간모델을 도출하고, 역 LQ 최적 제어기 설계법과 전 상태 외란 관측기 설계법을 이용하여 외란 관측기에 기반한 피드포워드 제어기가 결합된 2 자유도 최적 서보 제어기를 설계한다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 본 논문에서 제안한 제어 시스템은 외란 하에서도 핀치 롤과 맨드렐 사이의 코일 미단부 장력 제어에 매우 효과적임을 보인다.

This paper studies on the new control algorithm for the mass-flow stabilization in strip head part of a hot strip mill. A new strip tension model in the strip head part is derived using the current deviation of two neighboring stands. The current deviation means a difference between a measured current and a lock-on current, where the lock-on current is set up when a strip tension or a looper angle reaches each target value, respectively. On the basis of the tension calculation model, a mill velocity of a backward stand is controlled to stable a strip mass-flow by PI control algorithm. Therefore, the mass-flow control for strip head part is executed from a metal-in time into a forward stand till the looper works normally. It is known by the results of a computer simulation and an experiment that the proposed control algorithm is very effective in stabilizing the mass folw of the strip head part.
