        초등학교 폭력예방을 위한 집단상담 프로그램의 적용과 그 효과(1): 가해 성향 아동을 대상으로

        Authors of this paper analyzed patterns and process of elementary school violence(Choi et al., 2006) and the reasons of elementary school violence and damage by experience of elementary school violence and damage(Huh et al., 2007) as a previous research for this study. More recently, based upon the results of the above research, We developed group counseling program(Ⅰ and Ⅱ) for bullies and victims of school violence. This study attempted to test the effect of the program which is designed for bullies of school violence. The subjects of this study were 11 5th and 6th graders. The program is consisted of 15 sessions. In order to test the effects of the program, quantitative variations in ego-centrism, aggression, pro-sociability and conflict resolution strategy based upon the previous research of the authors were first analyzed. And self report of subjects and behavior rating of teachers were collected and analyzed in order to increase validity of the test. The results of analysis showed that aggression of experimental group were significantly decreased compared to those of control group. Also showed pro-sociability and cooperation were significantly increased. Implications of these results were discussed with focus on applicability of the program in school setting.

        학교폭력의 학교 생태학적 요인과 대처 방안 - 미시체계와 중간체계를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study was to examine factors influencing school violence and then draw suggestions for preventing school violence. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, this study used literature analysis. And the results were as follows.: The micro system influencing school violence was school stress, the awareness of school rules, instruction style of teachers, the attitude and involvement about school violence of the principal and teacher, peer relation and the connection of undesirable friends. The meso system influencing school violence was corelation of the members of the school, the relation of parents and teachers, the relation of awareness of school discipline of the students with human relation with teachers, the relation of the trust among school members and the relation of school and class system with peer group system.

        초등학교 현장의 인성교육 프로그램 분석

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness character education programs made by teachers of elementary school from 1995 to 1997. The key criteria for analzing the character education program were the obviousness of concept formation, the connectiveness of the concepts with explicit behavior of the children, parental envolvement with the program, student participation in the process of framing goals in order to achieve them, school climate approach, teacher flexibility and creativity in working with the program and the method of the program evaluation. The collected data were 31 character education programs made by elementary school teachers in Pusan and other areas. The results of this study were as follows: 1) In the 68% of the programs, there were not definition of the character to develop for the children. 2) Most of the programs didn`t express core concepts of the character and it was not linked to explicit behavior of the children. 3) Most of the programs were teacher initiated. 4) There were not teacher flexibility and creativity to adjust character education lessons to individual teaching and learning style. 5) In the 58% of the programs, there were not plans for parental involvement. 6) Most of the programs didn`t have a pre-assessment of the goals, occasional consultation during the program and a post-evaluation of the results.

        미국 초등학교 상담 연구의 최근 동향

        The purpose of this study was to identify the major trend of research and important topics in the elementary school counseling area in U.S.A. The 328 articles were analyzed through 3 professional journals about elementary school counseling from 1990 to 2001. They were categorized as four areas according to the criteria of Cysbers and Henderson, that is, Individual Planning, Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Service and System Support. And the topics that the frequencies published were above 10 were selected. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, It seemed that the research focus in elementary school counseling is on Responsive Services. And above 50% of the studies in Responsive Services were focused on maladapted children. This result indicated that the current research on elementary school counseling focused more on remediation compared to preventive intervention. Second, the major research topics on elementary school counseling were comprehensive counseling program, the development of guidance curriculum, school violence, classroom guidance activities, sex education and the consulting activity of the elementary school counselors etc. So, it seemed that the elementary school counseling is moving toward developmental programs.

        우리나라 초등학교 상담의 전문성 확립을 위한 과제 - 초등학교 전문 상담교사 양성과정을 중심으로 -

        This article is aimed to examine the several tasks to improve the credentialing system for the professional elementary school counselors in Korea, which started first in 1999. So, three dimensions for the professionalization of school counseling and several requisites for the professional development of elementary school counseling were described in this study according to certification requirements of American Counseling Association(1999). To professionalize elementary school counseling in Korea, it seems that support systems for the school counselors in elementary school and formal requirements such as educational requirements, curriculum requirements, examination requirements, experience requirements, and school-based internship need to be improved. The results of this study showed that the credentialing system for the professional elementary school counselors have to be ameliorated urgently.

        아동용 통합적 인성 척도 개발

        본 연구는 아동용 통합적 인성 척도 개발을 위하여 진행되었다. 이를 위하여 ‘인성’에 대한 의미를 명료화 한 후, ‘인성’의 하위요소를 추출하고 이를 측정하는 예비문항을 구성하였다. 구성된 예비문항의 적절성을 검토하기 위하여 전문가 협의회를 통한 문항내용타당도를 검증, ‘인성’을 측정하는 1차 문항을 구성하였다. 1차 문항의 선별 및 타당도 검증을 위하여 P시에 소재한 242명 초등학생을 대상으로 예비검사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료수집 후 문항선별 및 주성분 요인분석을 통해 구성요인을 확인하여 2차 문항을 선정하였다. 예비검사에서 선정된 2차 문항의 선별 및 타당도 검증을 위하여 예비검사 시행과는 달리 P시에 소재한 554명 초등학생을 대상으로 본 검사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 본 검사에서 수집된 자료 역시 문항선별 및 타당도 검증을 거쳐 최종 문항을 완성하였다. 이상과 같은 일련의 절차로 확인된 ‘인성’ 척도의 최종문항은 구인타당도 및 교차타당도(초등학생 328명) 검증을 실시하여 본 연구에서 개발한 ‘인성’ 측정도구의 일반화 가능성을 확보하였다. The purpose of this study was to development and validation of the integrated humanity scale for children. The research collected preliminary data from 242 elementary school students``s responses for item and scale quality analyses, and collected 554 students``s for item and scale quality analyses, and 328 elementary school students``s responses for validation. Data were analyzed to obtain item quality, reliability, and validity analysis. The results of the study were as follows; The integrated humanity scale for children was defined by 5 factors. The 5 factors were responsibility, a sense of community, a sense of self-worth, Sense of justice and respect for others. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis confirmed five sub-scales in the integrated humanity scale for children. Cross validity evidence was obtained from the confirmatory factor analysis in elementary school students.

      • 초등학교 예비 여교사를 위한 리더십 프로그램 개발

        이 연구에서는 교육대학교 여학생들을 대상으로 하여 초등학교 현장에서 필요한 여교사들을 위한 리더십 기술을 향상시킬 수 있는 리더십 프로그램을 개발하여 그 효과를 검증해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 교사들을 대상으로 한 사전 요구분석을 시행하였으며 그 결과로 나타난 리더십 요인들을 기반으로 하여 프로그램 내용을 구성하였다. 프로그램의 실시 대상은 부산교육대학교 1학년 여학생 20명이었으며, 전체 프로그램은 10회기로 한 주에 한 회기 씩 약 3개월에 걸쳐 시행되었다. 프로그램의 목표는 자기이해와 자기존중감 향상을 통한 자기관리 기술, 그리고 집단에서의 의사소통, 의사결정 및 갈등해결을 통한 집단관리 기술의 향상이었다. 프로그램 실시 결과, 학생들의 자기존중감 및 리더십 기술이 의미있게 향상되었다. This study aims to implement and thus prove the effecvtiveness of leadership program for girl student of teacher`s college that was developed on the basis of need analysis of elementary school teachers. The leadership program comprised two steps. The step 1 was self management that was planned to help to cultivate the individual leadership by improving self esteem and communication skill. The step 2 was group management that was planned to help to build up the group leadership through the communication skill in the group and effective decision making. This program was applied to 20 girl students of teacher`s college and this program is consisted of 10 sessions. In order to test the effects of the program the self esteem and leadership skill test was executed. The results of this study showed that the self esteem of the students was significantly increased and the leadership skill was increased very significantly.

        초등학교 폭력예방을 위한 집단상담 프로그램의 적용과 그 효과(2)

        Recently, one of the authors of this study, Huh (2008), developed a group counseling program With love, With friendship I, II for bullies and victimizers of elementary school violence. The present study is designed to test program II, for victimizers. The program was administered to eleven school violence victimizers. Participants completed the Anxiety Scale, Self-esteem Test, Pro-sociability Test and Conflict Resolution Strategy Test. Collected data were analyzed using t-Test and ANCOVA. The results showed that anxiety in the experimental group decreased significantly while self-esteem and pro-social behavior increased significantly compared to the control group. Implications of these results were discussed with focus on applicability of the program in the school setting.
