        일산화탄소 농도 예측 기능을 사용한 터널 환기 제어 알고리

        For a long road tunnel, a tunnel ventilation system may be used in order to reduce the pollution level below the required level. To control the tunnel pollution level, a closed loop control algorithm may be used. The feedforward prediction algorithm and the cascade control algorithm were developed to regulate the CO level in a tunnel. The feedforward prediction algorithm composed of the traffic estimation algorithm and the CO density prediction algorithm, and the cascade control algorithm composed of the jet fan control algorithm and the air velocity setpoint algorithm. The verification of control algorithms was carried out by dynamic models developed from the actual tunnel data. The simulation results showed that control algorithms developed for this study were effective for the control of the tunnel ventilation system.

        Control algorithms for the absorption air conditioning system may be developed by suing dynamic models of the system. The simplified effective dynamic models, which can predict the dynamic behaviors of the system, may help the development of effective control algorithms for the system. In this study, a dynamic simulation program for the absorption air conditioning system was developed. Dynamic models for an absorption chiller, a cooling tower, an air handling unit, a boiler, a three way valve, a controller, and a duct were developed and programed. Control algorithms for the absorption chiller, the cooling tower, and the air handling unit were selected, and analyzed to show the effectiveness of dynamic models. From the simulation results, it may be concluded that this simulation program may be effectively used for the development of optimal control algorithms of the absorption air conditioning system.

        퍼지룰을 이용한 멀티형 히트펌프 시스템의 제상 제어

        A fuzzy defrost control algorithm for the multi-type heat pump system was developed. In the fuzzy defrost control algorithm, the air temperature difference at the outdoor unit and the refrigerant pressure difference at the compressor were used as input variables, and the defrost starting time and the defrost time interval were used as output variables. This fuzzy algorithm was applied to the multi-type heat pump system and tested in the five dynamic environmental chambers. Test results show that the newly developed control algorithm is more effective than the conventional control algorithm in the removal of frost formed at the outdoor unit of the heat pump.

        데이터 전처리기법을 적용한 신경망 알고리즘의 냉방기 부분고장 검출

        The fault detection and diagnosis technology may be applied in order to decrease the energy consumption and the maintenance cost of the air-conditioning system. In this study, two different types of faults in the air-conditioning system, such as the condenser fouling and the evaporator fan slowdown, were considered. The neural network algorithm combined with data preprocessor was developed and applied to detect the faults of the real system. Test results show that this method is very effective to detect the faults in the air-conditioning system. Therefore, this developed method can be used for the development of the air-conditioner fault detection system.

        룰 베이스를 이용한 공조기의 고장검출 및 진단

        The fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) technology may be applied in order to decrease the energy consumption and the maintenance cost of the air conditioning system. In this study, rule bases and curve fitting models were used to detect faults in an air handling unit. Gradually progressed faults, such as the fan speed degradation, the coil water leakage, the humidifier nozzle clogging, the sensor degradation and the damper stoppage, were applied to the developed FBD system. Simulation results show good detections and diagnoses of these faults. Therefore, this method may be effectively used for the fault detection and diagnosis of the air handling unit.

        퍼지 알고리즘을 이용한 정풍량 공조기의 고장 감지 및 진단

        The fault detection and diagnosis technology may be applied in order to decrease the energy consumption and the maintenance cost of an air-conditioning system. In this study, partial faults for fans, coils, dampers, and sensors of a constant volume air handling unit were considered. A fuzzy algorithm was developed to detect and diagnose these faults. Diagnostic results by the fuzzy algorithm were compared with those by the model reference algorithm. The fuzzy algorithm showed better results in diagnostic accuracies.

        다입력변수를 사용한 멀티형 공조시스템 압축기와 전자팽창밸브의 퍼지 제어 알고리즘

        In order to control multi-zone temperatures, a multi-type air-conditioning system may be used. In this study, control algorithms for the compressor and the electronic expansion valve of a multi-type air-conditioning system were developed by using fuzzy logics. The compressor control algorithm was composed of a compressor pressure setpoint algorithm, a compressor pressure setpoint reset algorithm, and a compressor frequency setpoint algorithm. The electronic expansion valve control algorithm was composed of an indoor temperature control algorithm, and a superheat control algorithm. These algorithms were applied to a multi- type air-conditioning system. Test showed good results for the control of a multi-type air- conditioning system.

        신경망을 이용한 도로터널 오염물질 동적 모델

        In a long road tunnel, a tunnel ventilation system may be used in order to reduce the pollution below the required level. To develop control algorithms for a tunnel ventilation system, a dynamic simulation program may be used to predict the pollution level in a tunnel. Research was carried out to develop better pollution models for a tunnel ventilation control system. A neural network structure was adopted and compared by using actual pollution data. Simulation results showed that the dynamic model developed by a neural network may be effective for the development of tunnel ventilation control algorithms.
