한국에 자생하는 ${\ulcorner}$좀물푸레나무${\lrcorner}$의 수피에서 fraxin, fraxetin-8-glucoside $(mp.\;204{\sim}5^{\circ})$를 달리 확인하였다. Fraxin, fraxetin-8-glucoside, mp $204-205^{\circ}$ was isolated from the fresh bark of Fraxinus sieboldiana var. angustata Nakai, which is one of the indigenous plants of the Oleaceous family in Korea.

지리산 물푸레나무의 수피의 메탄올추출물에서 m.p.206˚, C_(15)H_(16)O<sub>9</sub>, ½H₂O의 조성을 갖는 coumarin glycoside (수득율 0.09%)를 분리하여 물리화학적인 분석에 의하여 esculin임을 동정하였다.

Two glycosides, assumed to be one of the potential active principles, is isolated from the root bark of Acanthopanax koreanum Nakai, identified to be acanthoside D, C34H46018, mp 242oC, and syringoside, C17H2409, mp 192oC. Acanthoside D has been found to have s-GPT, s-GOT lowering effect, BSP-retention rate and survival rate in the toxic state through the bio-pharmacological experiments.

A new triterpenoidal saponin was isolated from the methanol extract of Achyranthes fauriei roots (Amaranthaceae). The structure of this saponin was elucidated as 3-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-en-28-0-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester.
Coumarin 계물질 및 그 전구체의 담즙분비촉진 효과에 관한 연구

Gall duct cannulated rats were given daphnetin, umbelliferone,4-hydroxycoumarin, dicoumarol, 4, 7-dihydroxycoumarin, 4, 7-dimethyl-5-hydroxycoumarin, coumarin-3-carboxylic acid, cinnamic acid, ferulic acid, caffeic acid by duodenal catheter at room temperature and output of bile flow was detected. All of the subjected compounds in this experiment indicated a significant effect on the biliary elimination except cinnamic acid alone. It is suggested that a relationship exists between chemical pattern and biological aid biological activity for coumarin derivatives and their precursors, and that the choleretic activity of these compounds requires hydroxylated cinnamic acid structure as the most fundamental chemical pattern.

A new lupane triterpenoid saponin, 3,11-dihydroxy-lupan-20-en-28-oic acid 28-o-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(l->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(l->6)-B-D-glucopyranosyl ester, have been isolated from the leaves of Acanthopanax koreanum Nakai (Araliaceae) together with one known flavonol glycoside, rutin. The structure were elucidated on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence.

For the investigation of medicinal resource in Phyllanthus ussuriensis, the studies were conducted to evaluate the pharmaco-constituents in Phyllanthus ussuriensis, which is used as folk medicine in China. From the hot water extract of leaves, three phenolic compounds were isolated and identified as phloroglucinol, gallic acid and rutin by physico-chemical properties and spectroscopic evidences$(IR,{\;}^1H-NMR,{\;}^{13}C-NMR{\;}and{\;}Mass,{\;}etc.)$.

Two triterpenoid saponins were isolated from the methanol extract of Caltha minor leave(Ranunculaceae). The structure of these saponin were elucidated as hederagenin-3-0-alpha-rhamnopyranosyl(1->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside and 3-0-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl hederagenin 28-0-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl(l->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl(l->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester.
