Execution of exposed concrete has some problems such as segregation, surface honey comb and insufficient surface glossing due to unsuitable mix proportion and unfavorable construction in our field. Therefore, in this paper, field application of exposed concrete at training center building of Chongju university in Daecheon are carried out based on the mixing data obtained from laboratory test. Base concrete are made in accordance with mixing data. Segregation reducing type superplasticizer developed are applied in order to flow the base concrete with out segregation of materials. According to test results, air content shows to be reduced after flowing. Compressive strength of flowing concrete is higher than that of base concrete about 7%. Surface glossing is reducing as the age goes on. It is improved about 10% compared to that of base concrete.

In this paper, setting and strength properties of concrete using sugar are discussed. Gluconic acid, white sugar and brown sugar are used for super retarding agent. According to experimental results, as super retarding agent content increases, slump show to be increased, while air content decrease about 1∼2%, in case of setting properties, as super retarding agent content increases, setting time delays considerable. When gluconic acid is added about 0.3%, it delays more than 20 days. And when white sugar and brown sugar content is 0.3%, final setting time is shown more than 10 days. Compressive strength of concrete with super retarding agent shows to be higher than that without it. Accordingly. quality variation of concrete does not shown regardless of kinds of sugar.

The objective of this study is to compare compressive strength and ultrasonic pulse velocity of concrete using basalt aggregate to that using granite aggregate. And is to provide the reference data on the standardization of nondestructive test of concrete. According to test results, compressive strength of concrete using basalt aggregate is highly estimated under the same ultrasonic pulse velocity comes to that using granite aggregate about 1.5-2times. It is urgently that new by suggested estimation formula of compressive strength using basalt aggregate must be prescribed because estimation formula of compressive strength of concrete using basalt aggregates overestimates the strength compared to that using granite aggregate.
