도시철도차량 결함평가를 위한 비파괴검사 기법의 적용방안

Nondestructive inspection(NDI) is a testing procedure used to easily inspect an object for internal defects, abnormalities, shape, and structure, etc. without destroying it. Typical candidates for NDI include buildings, railways, aircraft, bridges, underground pipelines and various types of factory equipment. Recent advances in nondestructive evaluation(NDE) technologies have led to improved methods for quality control and in-service inspection, and the development of new options for material diagnostics. This paper introduces the methods of a survey and assessment on NDI applications in Electric Multiple Units(EMU). The main objective of this paper was to obtain information on various applications of NDI technology in EMU.

The deterioration of a shunting locomotive was characterized for the lifetime assessment. The locomotive has been used for shunting works in steel making processes, and in this investigation, various types of technical evaluation methods for the locomotive parts were employed to assess the current deterioration status and to provide important clue for lifetime prediction. Unlike other rolling stocks in railway applications, the diesel shunting locomotive is composed of major components such as diesel engine, transmission, gear box, brake system, electronic devices, etc. In this paper, the analysis results of running performance assessment have been used to provide the critical information for the criteria of precision diagnosis assessment.

고속철도 운영환경 조건의 변화함에 따라 부하변동이 발생하고 전철변전소의 피크전력이 증가하여 이는 에너지 비용이 증가하는 원인이 되고 있다. 또한 고속열차 운행시 발생하는 고조파는 통신유도장애 등과 같은 영향을 미치게 된다. 이에 고조파 및 피크전력 관리를 위해 능동형 고조파 필터 및 피크전력 저감장치를 개발하였으며, 시제품에 대한 성능평가를 위해 실증장소를 선정하였다. 본 논문에서는 실증장소에 대한 지반조사 및 침하안전성 분석을 통해 실증단지에 대한 안전성 및 적합성을 분석하였다. In order to solve the traffic problems, electric railways are presented as the best alternative such as high-speed railways, urban railways which have a safety, rapidity, convenience and friendly advantages to the environment. These high-speed railways is increased the peak power due to load fluctuation occurrence in accordance with the operating status of the train, and it causes the energy costs increase. In addition, harmonic generated from the traction motor of high-speed railways, and it will have adverse effects such as communication induction failure of power equipment, over-current and malfunction. To evaluate the performance of the prototype was selected for the test site. In this study, we conducted a test site analysis of active harmonic filter and peak power reduction device that has been developed for harmonic management and peak power reduction, and introduce a reliable analysis result of the test site.

This paper presents the effect of external corrosion in pipeline on failure predicition by using a failure probability model. The predicted failure assessments for the simulated corrosion defects discovered in corroded pipeline is compared with those from ANSI/ASME B31G code and a modified B31G method. A failure pressure model based on fracture mechanics is adopted for the assessment of pipeline failure pressure and linear idealisation of the long term corrosion growth rate is carred out. The effects of random variables on defect depth, pipe diameter, defect length, fluid pressure, corrosion rate, material yield stress and pipe thickness are systematically studied by using a failure probability model for the corrosion pipeline.
고속철도 전철변전소 피크전력 저감을 위한 기술개발 연구

고속열차는 대용량 부하로서 열차 운행을 위한 필요한 전력을 각 구간에 설치된 고속철도 전철변전소에서 공급받고 있으나 운영환경 변화에 따라 고속철도 변전소의 피크전력이 점진적으로 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 피크전력의 증가는 변전소의 설비비용 증가 및 전력사용요금을 증가시키는 요인이 되고 있다. 또한 고속철도 등 전기철도에서는 견인전동기 구동으로 인해 부하의 변동이 심하고 고조파가 발생하여 통신유도장애, 과전류, 계전기, 변압기 오동작 및 소손 등과 같은 악영향을 미치게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 고조파 및 피크전력 관리를 목적으로 개발되고 있는 피크전력 저감장치와 능동형 고조파 필터에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 도시철도차량 구조물에 대한 부식측정기법 적용 및 평가방안 연구

Under frame side sill in rolling stocks is designed for preventing corrosion in order to meet mechanical requirements. However during long operation time there are corrosion in the under frame side sill caused by environmental effect vibration and etc. This paper introduces the methods of a survey and assessment on NDI applications in Electric Multiple Units(EMU). The main objective of this paper was to obtain information on various applications and evaluation of NDI technology in EMU.
