선경축소에 따른 슈퍼데크의 구조안전성 평가에 관한 실험적 연구

SuperDeck is as the deck of assembling Kaiser, cubical rebar for slab, with corrugated zinc galvanized sheet iron at manufactory, given the improvement on design, manufacture, and performance for construction work of cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab by enabling to cast concrete directly without the form work. Nowadays, in general, simplified 2D analysis and allowable stress design are used as for the method of analyzing and designing of SuperDeck System. Since this method contradicts with 3D analysis, used for the development of SD300 at The Korean Structural Engineers Association, and limit state design, the comparison and examination of these two methods and the maximum span, which allows for construction, are needed. To compare the simplified 2D analysis applied to allowable stress design with 3D analysis applied to limit state design, 8 specimen are manufactured. Main variables include the depth of slab, the length of span, the diameter of bottom bar and lattice bar, and the presence of corrugated zinc galvanized sheet iron. From the comparison result of test and analysis, in case of using under D10 as bottom bar, 3D analysis is more appropriate.

Ductile coupled flexural wall is the primary seismic load resisting system of buildings. In these systems, connections are generally headed stud bolt connection. The purpose of experimental study is to evaluate the seismic behavior of these connection under cyclic loading. A comprehensive experimental test involving 4 specimens has been performed and this program is used to study the effect of value of moment and edge distance. Through experimental test, the seismic behavior of typical headed stud bolt connections was established.

These structures are exposed to damage from sea wind caused by proportional salt from the sea, environmental pollution of the atmosphere caused by economic growth and increased traffic load from the land, and acidic rain which result in damaging the reinforced concrete and economic losses. The environmental factors accelerate the corrosion of the reinforcement and the products that formed from the corrosion process generate expansive pressure within the concrete that cause the cracks or delamination on the surface of the concrete. The accelerated corrosion of the reinforcement cause problems in durability of the reinforcement concrete by reducing effective area of the concrete, reducing cross section of the reinforcement which results in reduced mechanical efficiency of the reinforcement, and reducing internal forces which is caused by reduced reinforcement/concrete adhesive forces. Inefficient durability caused by corrosion of the main bar and hoof of the reinforced concrete column members that hold the entire building structures may bring damage such as destruction of the entire structure, and currently, there has been a lot of interests shown on this area as such accidents have occurred often internationally around the globe.

Reinforced concrete coupled shear walls in tall buildings are known as efficient structural systems to provide lateral resistance to wind and earthquake. The coupling beams connecting two shear walls are normally subjected to very high shear stresses and must before the wall piers, behave in a ductile manner, and exhibit significant energy dissipation characteristic. This paper reports experimental study to investigate the behavior and shear force of the steel plate reinforced concrete coupling beans with stud shear connector, deformed reinforcement, and channel under cyclic loading. In the test program, 3 steel plate coupling beam specimens are constructed and tested. The main variables in the test program were the attached reinforcement details of steel plate. Steel plate reinforced coupling beams with concrete were tested to evaluate their failure mode, shear behavior, stiffness characteristic, energy dissipation, and plate strain. The results of these experiments demonstrate that it is possible to significantly improve the strength, displacement capacity, energy absorption of shear deficient reinforced concrete coupling beams.

The objective of this work is based on the comparison on behaviors of reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete beam-column joint, which have similar dimensions and design strengths. A comprehensive experimental test involving 1 reinforced concrete and 2 prestressed concrete beam-column joint specimens has been performed. Through experimental test, the behavior of typical prestressed concrete beam-column joint was established.
