Owing to the attractive features of FRP materials like high strength, lightweight, resistance to corrosion and constructability, innovative FRP reinforcement techniques are increasingly adopted in construction to replace former reinforcing methods, and this tendency is promising for wider applications of such material. To date, no major problem arose from the application of steel plate bonding method and method increasing the cross-section using former materials in view of safety and serviceability issues regard to current criteria or experimental methods. However, since FRP reinforcement methods make use of innovative materials, which present fundamentally different properties, the application of current criteria appears to be delicate. Moreover, even if reinforcing is done using FRP, obtaining the desired reinforcement effect cannot be expected and may also result in serious safety problems. Following, this paper intends to extract the main parameters enabling the evaluation of the bond mechanism between FRP and concrete through comparative study of the formulae proposed by previous researchers. Previous experimental results were gathered as reference to examine the effects of these parameters and, to derive and propose formulae. Double shear tests were also performed to investigate the bonding characteristics between concrete and FRP and, verify the validity of the proposed formulae through comparison with previous formulae. and were suggested for the effective bonded length and bond strength, and the values computed for the effective bond length and bond strength by means of the proposed formulae were verified to be accurately correlated up to 99% with the experimental values.

The serviceability evaluation methods regarding floor vibration can be found in foreign building codes or design guides for vibration. AISC, AIJ, CEN, CSA and ISO are such examples. However, because the those guides are based on each country's experimental results, there will be different evaluation results for the same conditions. Meanwhile, in korea, we have little research results that suits for our condition, and we continue to use those guides. In this paper, 23 slabs were carried out to investigate the accuracy of existing vibration response formulas.
