When the TTX operates regenerative braking mode, it's produced regenerative energy. So, it's important to use energy efficiently using ESS(energy storage system). In this paper, we analyze regenerative energy when the TTX runs in Ho-Nam line. In addition, we estimate ESS's capacity considering the TTX's regenerative power.

This paper presents a new algorithm to analyze a train voltages of multi-trains in auto-transformer-fed AC railway systems, using electrical equivalent change. The train current will be divided into circulation and return currents, and these current values are the same. By evaluating each current independently, the result will be more precise. The train current flows through the all auto-transformer corresponding to track impedance. In analyzing the railway system, the algorithm is based on the K.C.L, K.V.L, superposition and circuit separation method. Multi-train"s voltages are determined by calculating the catenary voltage at each train"s position and adding up these train"s voltage drop. Case studies use a field operational data, show that the proposed method is easily applied.

This paper describes a capacity of distributed generation which will be interconnected at low voltage distribution systems. In order to set the capacity of distributed generation, a voltage variation of distribution system is considered. Besides, the capacity of distributed generation is classified according to a capacity of pole transformer and loads. The system constructions in this paper are analyzed by using PSCAD/EMTDC. In the immediate future, it is expected to increase the installation of New and renewable energy systems which are generally interconnected to distribution power systems in the form of distributed generations like photovoltaic system, wind power and fuel cell. So the study of this kind would be needed to limit the capacity of distributed generation.
