Sub-㎜ 스케일 과산화수소 이용 메탄올 자열 개질기를 위한 Cu-ZnO/Al₂O₃-Ni foam 촉매 합성

Micro scale fuel cell is an alternative of conventional battery for power source of mobile devices. Hydrogen which is indispensable to fuel cell is supplied by fuel reformer from conventional hydrocarbon fuel. In this work, copper-zinc oxide/alumina catalyst for a sub-millimeter scale methanol reformer was fabricated. Alumina was coated on a tailored porous nickel foam by clip coating of alumina slurry consisted alumina sol and gamma-alumina powder. Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area and Barrett-Joyner-Halenda pore size distribution of alumina-nickel foam support were measured by nitrogen adsorption and desorption. The catalyst was impregnated on the support and validated by X-ray diffractometry. The quantity of alumina on the nickel foam linearly increased as the number of repetition of dip coating. Pore condensation occurred during adsorption and desorption. The pore diameter in the alumina was in 5~20 ㎚. Therefore, the support was mesoporous material. Copper and zinc oxide were coated on the support after calcination and reduction.
‘기공’의 국외 임상연구 최신동향: 스코핑 고찰을 중심으로 한 예비연구

Objectives: The objective of this study was to perform a scoping review to describe clinical study trends on Qigong in order to identify further directions of Qigong in Korean medicine. Methods: Under the Arksey and O’Malley methodological framework, PubMed was searched to identify articles published from January 1, 2019 to June 28, 2021. A total of 224 articles were retrieved. Results were systematically filtered by two independent reviewers based on inclusion/exclusion criteria. Publication information, disease, intervention and research results of a total of 153 articles were extracted and analyzed. Results: Asia had the largest number of Qigong studies (82 studies, 65%). Most research studies were conducted in the academic field of Medicine (n=109, 86.5%), including Complementary and Alternative Medicine (n=35), Medicine (miscellaneous) (n=15), and Oncology (n=15). Based on ICD-10 classification, Mental and Behavioral Disorder (n=25, 19.8%) was the most frequently analyzed decease, followed by Neoplasm (n=24) and Disease of the Nervous system (n=12). Almost half of all studies were Systematic Reviews. RCTs only accounted for 25.4%. Interventions were very diverse and inconsistent. Sixty (47.6%) studies analyzed Qigong as a single intervention. In 66 cases, Qigong was analyzed as part of a large category such as Mind-Body intervention. Most studies designed a Donggong (動功) program. The age of the population was relatively high as 47.1% of all studies were conducted on middle aged or older adults. Conclusions: These findings suggest that further standardized research on Qigong, especially Junggong (靜功), needs to be conducted by developing research protocols and practice programs to verify effects of Qigong and utilize Qigong as a medical intervention in Korean Medicine.
실험실 스케일 연소로에서의 이산화탄소 혼합 연소 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

Oxy-fuel combustion is a good method for the reduction of NOx emission. However, the flame temperature of the oxy-fuel combustion is too high to apply it to conventional combustor. CO₂ recirculation by mixing dried exhausted gas into the oxygen flow is a good method to reduce the flame temperature. In this work, the characteristics of CO₂-mixed oxy-fuel combustion in a lab-scale furnace with multi-hole burner were investigated. 4 distinct flame regions were observed under various CO₂ volume flow rate and oxygen feeding ratio. Temperature distribution in the combustion chamber was measured by thermocouples. The maximum flame temperature reduced to 1300K when the 30 l/min of CO₂ was mixed. NOx emission also reduced to 40 ppm which is 14% of the pure oxygen case. The results of this work will be important design factors for oxy-fuel combustor with CO₂ recirculation.
