We demonstrated the moxibution on CV5(Serk-Moon) and CV3(Chung-Guk), as we have known contraceptive acupuncture point and pregnancy acupuncture point in oriental medcine, effected on concentration of progesteron and estrogen. As the reports, $3{\beta}-hydroxysteroid\;dehydrogenase/{\Delta}5-{\Delta}4$ isomerase $(3{\beta}-HSD)$ is an enzyme that has catalytic oxidation and isomerase reaction on steroidhormon synthase including progesteron and estrogen. So we observated the concentration and mass of $(3{\beta}-HSD)$ by immuno-chemicalstain, western blot and Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay in rat ovary. In results, we detected that the mass of $(3{\beta}-HSD)$ decreased significantly in moxibution treated group on CV5($p{\leq}0.05$) in rat ovary and proposed that the moxibution of CV5 make possible to contraception because of blocking estrogen synthesis by $(3{\beta}-HSD)$ decrease. But we didn't know moxibution effects exactly whether is biochemical reaction or thermal reaction on acupuncture point.
국내 디자이너의 해외진출 연대기별 한국적 이미지 활용 실태 연구

The 21 st century is the era of cultural competitiveness through which a new value is generated with an applied cultural design unique to the individual countries. Realizing the necessity of nation's own image establishment earnestly at this moment, this research would try to work on the following. First, this paper has a look at promotional policy for fashion industry by the government authorities. Second, the work examines the precedents studies In terms of times. Third, based on such time series, this writing sees the transitional process of traditional Korean image into modern image and interpreting connotation regarding the work pieces of domestic designers who experienced in entrance into overseas market by the chronological classification. As to the methodology, this work performed the literature examination on previous studies and the critical comments of specialists were extracted from magazines, newspapers, and fashion-related online sites for the purpose of reference. For its research scope, the advancement times into foreign countries were divided into groups according to the designers with overseas experience from the 1960s up to now or those who work out of the country presently in order to look into Korean images reflected onto their design works.
유산영화(Heritage Film)의 정치학: 『하워즈 엔드』 의 영화적 각색

The term ``heritage film`` refers to a genre of British cinema that emerged in the late 20th century, featuring literary sources, sumptuous production design, and a repertory cast. It reached its apogee in the 1980s and 90s with Merchant-Ivory Productions, which established a remarkable style of their own by presenting a series of stately period-costume pieces. The heritage film elicited a great deal of criticism. It was denounced as part of the ``heritage industry`` that Therefore, the genre was deemed essentially regressive, implicitly colluding with Thatcherism, the prevailing ideology of the day. Some critics, however, sought to reappraise the complex layers of its cinematic texts by and large in terms of gender or class politics. They facades, suggesting that this seemingly conservative genre could serve as a social critique. In this context, Howards End, one of the best Merchant-Ivory collaborations, serves as a touchstone for the controversies over the heritage film. Based on E. M. Forster`s novel of 1910, the film presents a panoramic portrait of Edwardian England. The screenplay of Ruth Jhabvala, alert to the radical edge of the original text, extracts the essentials and reworks them into screen in an assuring manner, bringing up to date the key concerns addressed by the novel. Also brilliant are Jenny Beavan`s costume, Luciana Arrighi`s art direction, and the ensemble acting of first-rate British actors, which are all finely coordinated by James Ivory`s masterful directing. The result is a film of rare quality, incisive, tasteful, and highly relevant to the present day. In sum, Howards End is far from yet another cultural reactionary politics of Reagan-Thatcher years, indicating the extent to which the heritage film can present a critical inquiry into contemporary existence.

This paper purports to examine the ways in which the modern city and the world of commercialized urban culture are envisaged in Rhys"s The Left Bank. It considers, in particular, the author"s tackling of the issue of the commodification of bohemian lifestyle in the supposedly liberal quarter of Montparnasse of Paris of the 1920s, suggesting that her representation of the city is essentially at odds with the city delineated in the fiction and memoirs of mainstream modernist writers and especially the American expatriates, who tended to define inter-war Paris as a gay, glamorous epicentre of the Jazz Age. Unlike them, Rhys was prone to delve into and unmask the grim aspects of modern existence trapped in that specific commercial district. She thus calls into question the nature of the capitalist culture, engaging us to reconsider the strains and tensions inherent in urban modernity.
