This paper describes microprocessor-based speed control of a DC motor with the reduced harmonics in input AC line currents. The harmonics involved in input AC line currents of converter apparatus have generated such serious problems as burning of power condenser, misaction of protective relay and trouble of automatic voltage controller in transmission and distribution of electric power system. Accordingly, in this study, to reduce harmonics in input line currents, the input line consists of 3 phase 24 pulse converter added tap conversion auxiliary circuits. The voltage necessary for DC motor drive is adjusted by a chopper. A voltage that relates to the motor speed is measured through a tachogenerator. The analog voltage measured through a tachogenerator is converted into the digital signal by the A/D converter and the converted digital signal goes into the microprocessor. The microprocessor compares the actual speed with the desired speed and the difference is used to adjust the on-off time of the chopper. Therefore, this system can reduce harmonics in input line currents and drive the DC motor to the constant speed in spite of a variable load.

This paper persents a novel Dual thyristor Converter which can reduce the harmonics without input three phase transformers. The proposed circuit has tap conversion device instead of input transformers to reduce the harmonics into economical side. This tap conversion device makes multi-pulse of input current and executes com-mutation successfully with constant revers bias time. We proved the effect of harmonic reduction through computer simulation and experiment.
마이크로 콘트롤러를 이용한 저가격대 트랜지스터 테스터 설계에 관한 연구

Test process is essential to decide good or bad quality of produced transistor. However the bad products can remain after the test process, due to mixture of unwanted transistors in the process of house holding or management. Thus, we have to remove the bad ones by adding another test process before tapping or packing the products. This post-process is generally accepted in industry, since the product management, specially semi-conductor product is evaluated in PPM unit. The cost of production however should not increase with another test process. We have to get a test equipment that test the necessified characteristics in short time with low cost. To fulfill these demands a cheap and simple system is need ever though some equipments have been developed and operated. In this research, we check only 2 parameters, hFE and VCEO among the parameters of transistor to avoid the mixture of bad products and design a low cost test equipment. Since the equipment check only 2 parameters, it is fast and cheap. In addition, it is designed with low power consumption and small size for easy installation.

In this paper, an actively controlled anti-rolling system is considered, in order to reduce the rolling motion of a ship. In this control system, a small auxiliary mass is installed on the upper area of the ship, and an actuator is connected between the auxiliary mass and the ship. The actuator reacts against the auxiliary mass, applying inertial control forces to the ship to reduce the rolling motion in the desired manner. In this paper, we introduce LMI based H<SUB>∞</SUB> control approach to design the anti-rolling control system for the controlled ship. And the experimental results show that the desirable control performance can be achieved.

A noble control system so called sliding mode fuzzy control method is proposed to control the position of dc servo motor. This method is approched the ideal sliding mode by compensate method through introduce the fuzzy logic to concept of sliding mode control. The resultly, this method is to obtain easily continuous input, that has linear function. We are proved adequacy through digital simulation.
Study on the PV Driven Dehumidifying System with Oyster Shell and Thermoelectric Device

본 연구는 수산 폐기물인 굴패각을 공조시스템의 수분 흡착제로 사용하기 위한 가능성을 실험을 통해 살펴본 기초적인 연구이다. 연구의 주된 목적은 굴패각의 제습성능과 열전소자의 냉각효과를 파악하는 것이며 본 연구를 통해 굴패각은 공조시스템 내에서 사용가능한 수분 흡착제로서의 성능을 충분히 가지고 있으며, 또한 냉각효과를 통해 흡착성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다는 것을 알았다. 본 시스템은 신재생에너지인 태양광을 이용하기 때문에 시스템의 구동에 필요한 다른 전원은 필요 없어 환경적으로도 매우 바람직한 연구이다. This paper has dealt with the probability of oyster shell desiccant cooling system driven by renewable energy of photo-voltaic effect. For this, fundamental experiments have been carried out focusing on the observation of dehumidifying effect of oyster shell and peltier elements used for air conditioning system. From this study, it is found that oyster shell has sufficient probability for using as a desiccant in air-conditioning system. Moreover, the heat releasing device(peltier element) can be used with direct current from PV cells so the system can be operated with high efficiency. As a result, the absolute humidity in a test chamber was reasonably controlled by oyster shell and peltier elements. Also the photo-voltaic energy from sun was enough for running power of this system.
