실과 목제품 만들기 단원에서 협동 학습이 학업 성취도에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to apply the cooperative learning through small group formation, and to testify the effect of it on the academic achievement in practical arts education of the elementary school. The results of this study were as follows; (1) The cooperative learning was effective on the academic achievement in the cognitive domain as compared with the conventional learning in wooden goods making in practical arts education of the elementary school. (2) The cooperative learning was effective on the academic achievement in the psychomotor domain as compared with the conventional learning, and on handing and manufacturing as the subordinate variables. (3) The cooperative learning was effective on the academic achievement in the affective domain as compared with the conventional learning, and on self-confidence, interest, a sense of purpose, achievement motive, self-regulated learning, and friend relationship as the subordinate variables. Accordingly, the application of the cooperative learning was more effective than the conventional learning on the academic achievement in the cognitive, psychomotor, affective domain in practical arts education of the elementary school.

The purpose of this study is to explore the strategies used to solve technological problem of practical arts in peer group interaction. This study introduces a descriptive system of analysis of peer group interaction. The method takes a problem solving approach to interaction which is seen as socially and situationally developed in student's interactions. The method consists of a three-dimensional analysis of peer group interaction by focusing on the functions of verbal interaction, and the nature cognitive processing and social processing. There are investigated with the help of analysis map drawn out from the data based on video recording, transcriptions, observations, and interviews. The results of this study were as follows;1. The analysis frame has emerged as a result of studies have conducted of students' interactions whilst working in peer groups on various educational tasks.2. The application of the frame is realized with a microanalysis of peer interaction by focusing on three analytic dimensions.
