A Multimedia Tutorial system for Learning the French Language

This paper aims to present how to design and implement a multimedia tutorial system for the self-learning French language using Director with additional tools. To implement a multimedia tutorial system we need to design several steps. First, we should choose the level of the users and design tutorial. Second, we should prepare all materials such as sounds, graphics, text and video. Finally, we should implement the selected elements and control the educational software. Due to the nature of the paper, it must emphasize French basic conversation to make environment that be used in each scene and the scene of the context dialog. In view of the fact that the fitness of each content utilization field of multimedia authoring tool is high, it is possible as part of the system sizing process of the manufacturing process, to impart its meaning. This learning-contents are composed of 10 units each situation, and we anticipate there are the several effects of this system on basic French students. This system helps lecturer get French students interested in lessons, and enables learner to learn French of the role of iterative practice by linking image and sound. Also this system helps learners to prepare and review French studying after a lesson and allows leaners to maximize their efficiency. The future of this work is to implement this system on the app.

다국어 자동 번역 시스템에 연동될 불-한 공통 변환지식 구축을 위한 프랑스어 태그셋 설정

본 연구는 현재 기초적 수준인 한불 자동 통번역 시스템을 개발하기 위해서 불어의 태그드코퍼스에 적용될 불어의 품사태그 및 통사태그를 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 우선, 기존에 제안된 French Treebank의 품사태그 및 통사태그의 문제점을 알아보고 그 개선책 또는 수정사항을 제안한다. 이는 다국어 자동 번역 시스템에 한 축을 이룰 한불 자동 번역 시스템 구축에 필수적인 기반이 되는 작업이다. 연구의 결과로써 품사태그에서 복합관계대명사의 품사(PPROREL) 태그, 부분관사의 품사태그(Dpart)를 제안한다. 또한, 한정사(DET) 태그의 범위 등에 대한 개선책을 제안한다. 또한 수동형 복합과거시제의 품사태그에 대한 개선책을 제시했다. 통사태그에서는 빈번한 오류의 원인이 되는 사역동사를 나타내는 통사태그의 삭제, 다양한 목적어의 종류를 구분할 수 있는 시스템의 개선책, 그리고 광범위한 용법의 MOD 태그에 대한 세분화 등을 제안했다. In this study, we propose a improvement for constructing korean-french automatic translation system based on RBMT that constitutes a Multilingual Automatic Translation System. For this, We analyze the part-of-speech(POS) tags and the syntactic tags of French sentences with French Treebank, and go a step further and examine the problems of the existing tagsets of French treebank. And then, we propose a PPROREL tag for complex relational pronouns and a Dpart tag for a partial article tag. We also propose an improvement measure for the range of quantifier (DET) tags and so on. In the syntactic tag, we proposed deletion of the syntactic tag indicating the causative verb, improvement of the system that can distinguish the kinds of objects, and subdivision of the MOD tag.

영어가 한국어에 미친 언어 문화적 영향에 대한 통시적 연구

English, which is used in our daily life, has affected Korean language in many perspectives. First of all, words such as ‘radio’, ‘news’, ‘tube’, which do not exist in Korean phonological system, have been used. Ellipsis and abbreviation in terms of morphology have been used. Moreover, passive sentences, pronouns, and past perfect tense, which do not exist in Korean, have been used. Semantically the meanings of some English words have been changed and their meanings sometimes have been expanded, reduced, or abased.<br/> The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the effects of English on Koran for establishing the identity of Korean language and leading to its right usage. The previous studies related with this topic were somewhat basic and fragmentary. That is, the studies were limited to the collection of materials which appeared in a particular point of time. There were no studies which pursued diachronic comparison and systematic analysis. In this study, however, the changes which have occurred in Korean by the effects of English were analyzed diachronically by the computational data base.
