For the last few years, the Navy has carried out safety assessment of naval vessels. The purpose of the safety assessment is to identify and eliminate the risk factor of the fire and ensure the safety of the naval ships from corrosion and structural damage of the hull. The Safety Assessment was carried out for 107 vessels in 5 years. Know-how and data of safety assessment can be accumulated. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the current state of the ship safety assessment system, review the necessity of the safety assessment system, and present a more effective safety assessment system based on the result.
해군 함정 내부 격실의 Wireless-LAN 환경 제공을 위한 Path Loss Model 고려사항에 대한 연구

As convenience and efficiency of Wireless LAN have been recognized, its demand for applying every industry field gains popularity. Also in ship building industry, the concept of 'Smart Ship' has been developing for several years, now it begin to construct and make a contract a Smart Ship which is characterized by SAN(Ship Area Network). SAN is comprising with Wire and Wireless communication network. Wireless network, however, there are lots of challenges to construct indoor network environment onboard. This is because of physical restriction, that is, ships are made with steel which radio frequency can not penetrate. In this paper, we review several indoor propagation models and analyze the characteristics. Based on results, we choose the considerations concerning building Wireless LAN onboard.
표면처리 단계에 따른 FRCM 복합체의 인장 거동 특성 평가

FRCM(Fiber-Reinforced Cementitous Matrix) 복합체는 다양한 역학적 장점과 함께 지속 가능성을 제공함으로써 철근콘크리트의 대안 및 보수·보강재로써 주목 받고 있다. 그러나 FRCM 복합체는 직물과 시멘트 매트릭스 계면에서 발생하는 미끄러짐으로 인해 재료 본연의 성능 발현에 제한이 있다. 본 연구는 직물 요소의 표면처리가 부착성능에 미치는 영향 및 표면처리된 복합체의 인장 거동 특성을 평가하였다. 본 연구의 결과로써 직물과 시멘트 매트릭스 계면의 부착 성능은 직물 요소의 표면처리를 통해 효과적으로 개선할 수 있는 것을 확인하였으며, 이를 통해 직물과 시멘트 매트릭스의 일체화 거동을 유도할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 추후 건설 산업의 구조적 성능 및 지속 가능성에 대한 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
인간 요소를 고려한 V2V 통신기반 자율주행차량의 전방차량 위험판단 기법

This paper presents a human factor considered risk management using vehicular communication for application to automated vehicle. A vehicle to vehicle (V2V) wireless communication have been implemented and fused with a radar sensor to obtain the prediction of remote vehicle’s motion. Based on the predicted behavior of remote vehicles, a collision risk and a human reaction time are determined for a human-centered active safety control intervention moment. The human-centered risk assessment algorithm has been incorporated into a collision avoidance algorithm to monitor threat vehicles ahead and to find the best intervention point. Effects of the vehicular communication on a host vehicle control performance is investigated. The performance of the proposed algorithm has been evaluated via computer simulations. It has been shown from both simulations that the proposed human-centered risk assessment algorithm with the V2V communication can be beneficial to active safety systems in decision of controller intervention moment and in control of automated drive for the guaranteed safety.
