The purpose of this research is to obtain the characteristics of heat transfer or heat exchange under the vacuum pressure. The general heat transfer or heat exchange can be changed with the experimental environment. In this report, the exothermic calorie and endothermic calorie were measured under the vacuum chamber. These two kinds of calories show the evaporative and condensing sides, respectively, and these calories were measured by using the parameter with flow rate.

The purpose of this research Is to derive the principal design parameters governing the dynamic characteristics of the high response flow control servo valve. For this purpose, a numerical modeling of the servo valve system and a parameter sensitivity analysis to a frequency response characteristics was peformed. As a result of these analysis, a basis for improvement of a dynamic characteristics of servo valve was arranged.

The purpose of this study is to design the intelligent speed control system for marine diesel engine by a HILS system Since sea state changes engine load instantaneously, the governing apparatus is essential for marine engine to maintain constant speed regardless of the load. As governing apparatus, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical governors have been employed. Most of speed controllers of a marine diesel engine developed are still using the PID control algorithm. But, the performance of a marine diesel engine depends highly on the parameter setting of the PID controllers. In this paper, therefore, a new method to tune efficiently the PID parameters by a HILS system is proposed. The proposed method shows quite a good control performance in comparison to the customary PID control method by the simulation using HILS for the various load change.

This research is the catalyst converter for application in the motorcycle. Present research model type is monolithic catalytic converter and this type have been widely used for satisfy and the regulations of pollutant emissions in automobiles. The flow characteristics in a single monolith automotive catalytic converter were investigated by using a computational simulation method. And we will not take up chemical reaction. So that we limit the discussion to the effect of flow uniformity in the catalyst converter. Simulation results lead us to the conclusion that the fluid uniformity of megaphone type catalyst converter is higher than that of a base type one. When compared with base type, megaphone type has more suitable for applicable to motorcycle.
