River management has been worked by domestic river management plan and natural small river arrangement works after 1990s. However, retaining wall and porous embankment block contain environmental damage and structural problems. Therefore, arranged structures and damage cases were investigated in this study.

This study was conducted the effect of MAB in activated sludge to research about nitrification and denitrification. Membrane module settled in aerobic bioreactor. And pure-oxygen was supplied to inner membrane heating & cooling system which were used for control of pure oxygen temperature. As a result, nitrification, denitrification and organic carbon removal were simultaneously fulfilled by MAB which was applied to activated sludge in bioreactor. In MAB, nitrification rate changes reacted sensitively by temperature changes of supplied pure-oxygen. About 35℃ of pure-oxygen could make optimal environment of biofilm attachment & growth even low water temperature. Thus, improvement of nitrification rate, denitrification, microorganism number and decrease of excess sludge were very effective in general field of wastewater treatment in case MAB was applied.

N/A This study was performed to evaluate the BMB reuse system which was composed by Rapid Biofilm Clarifier, Activated sludge Bioreactor and Membrane module. In Rapid Biofilm Clarifier replaced a conventional Primary Sedimentation, SS, BOD, COD were 38%, 20%, and 20% and turbidity, color were 28%and 10% respectively. this means Rapid Biofilm Clarifier having HRT value of 5.2min can replace a conventional Primary Sedimentation of the HRT value of 2∼2.5hr. And the BMB reuse system achieved a BOD < 5㎎/l, COD < 10㎎/l , Turbidity < 0.5 NTU, and Color < 20 unit respectively, and Total Coliform didn`t appear. This means this system can meet water quality standard of water reuse system. As the flux of the Plate membrane and Hollow Fiber membrane was 120∼140 1/㎡.hr.bar and 60∼90 1/㎡.hr.bar, more quantity of water was passed at the Plate membrane than Hollow fiber membrane. And a Total resistance of Hollow fiber membrane was higher than plate membrane. Because the HRT of the BMB reuse system was shorter than water reuse systems using conventional Activated sludge in maintaining HRT of 6.6hr, it can save capital investment in space and meet water quality standard of Water reuse system.
