任昌周 상명대학교 논문집 1974 상명대학교논문집 Vol.3 No.-

There are river terraces along the upper course of the South Han river. Typical ones of them are found in the Young chun area. The purpose of this study is to bring out the characterstics and its processes of the river terraces of the Youngchun area. Ⅰ. The morphological and depositional features of the river terraces of the Youngchun area are as follows: 1)River terraces are located in Youngchun, Neuti, and Pamsugeuri between 170m and 260m in altitude, and all of them could be divided into 3 parts of level. i.e. upper middle and lower levels by the altitude of 180∼190m and 220∼220m, which are steep scarps. 2)Each terrace, in common features, developed consistently along the convexed banks of the meander flow that characterizes the upper South Han river. 3)The upper, middle and lower levels of each terrace, in transverse profile, can be characterized by the following facts: ① The upper level:a. It has a gentle slope about 3∼4 degrees. b. On the terrace plane, there are occasionally bared bedrock surfaces that show considerable relief. c. The thickness of the terrace deposits is 1∼2m, but it varies in different localities. d. The deposits consist of gravels such as boulder, cobble(average size of 8∼10m)and some coarse sand. e. The bedding and the sorting of deposits are almost lacked. f. The roundness of gravel is 0.3∼0.5 ② The middle level:a. It has gentle slope about 2∼3degrees. b. On the terrace plane the bedrocks are bared occasionally, which seem to have been abraded by stream flow. c. The thickness of terrace deposits is 3∼4m but it varies in different localities. d. The deposits of gravels such as cobble pebble(average size of 5∼8㎝)and some medium sand. e. The bedding and the sorting are almost lacked. f. The roundness of gravel is 0.5∼0.6 ③ The lower level:a. It has a very gentle slope, almost flat. b. The terrace deposits of this level are so thick that the bedrock could not be found. c. The thickness of terrace deposits is about 5∼8m. d. The bedding and the sorting of terrace deposits are relatively good. f. The roundness of gravel is 0.6-5∼0.7 Ⅱ. The processes of the river terraces would be revealed as follows: 1)It is considered that the river terraces of this area were formed by the ingrown meandering of the South Han river along the convex bank of the river for the morphological characteristice of the convex bank of South Han river present asymmetrical features. 2)It is clear that the river terraces of this area were produced by the strem flow, which has different stream regime from the present South Han river;in other words, they were produced by the ephemeral stream erosion, because the morphological and depositional facts, revealed the severe intermittent flood state of the river. Ⅲ. The conclusion of this study are as. follows: 1)The river terrace of the Youngchun area is a kind of Slipoff slope terrace produced by the ingrowned meandering of the South Han river. 2)The stream flow which formed the terrace was the ephemeral one and the present South Han river was derived from it. It may be inferred that the river terraces are the climatic terrace formed under the more arid climatic condition 3)The above facts suggest, strognly, that terraces of this area were produced in accordance with the of erosion base level.

This research includes the prototype development of the master plan title. "National Research and Development Program Integrated Management System". The system collects the information of projects, supports the survey analysis evaluation, and pre budget coordination of national research and development programs, and provide the information service for people about the situation of the national research and development. The results of the research may be used as the base technologies in information service(information retrieval directory service) to manage all programs of national research and development in their life cycle and to allocate resources efficiently to the national research and development in the increasing tendency. tendency.

        국가연구개발사업 종합관리시스템의 성공적 구축방안

        임창주,오세홍 한국정보관리학회 2002 정보관리학회지 Vol.19 No.2

The purpose of this paper is to propose an successful implementation plan for national R&D program integrated information system. First, we surveyed and analyzed the status and plan of the national R&D program information system in developed countries (especially, the United States and Japan) Second, we reviewed the implementation background, limitation and further plan of the information systems related to R&D program in Korea. Last, division of the work and an successful plan in implementing the national R&D program integrated information system are discussed.

Especially under the South Han-river and Ara-river

任昌周 상명대학교 논문집 1988 상명대학교논문집 Vol.21 No.-

The purpose of this study is to bring out the characteristics and its processes of the river terrace of Korea and that of Japan, especially under the intermontane terraces of the upper South Han-river and that of Ara-river, by the geomorphological comparative research. 1. The terraces of both areas are characterized in the common topographic features as follows; 1) The South Han-river terrace planes are divided into the upper level, the middle level, and the lower level, in the transverse profile. And thats of Ara-river can be roughly classified into upper, middle, and lower terraces. 2) The South Han-river terrace developed consistently along the convexed bank of the meander flow. In the transverse profile represents a slip-off slope type and that of asymmetrical. The Ara-river terrace, especially in lower terraces, are subdivided into three levels-fill top terraces, fill-strath terraces, and noncyclic terraces. 3) The depositional features, on the wholly, of the South Han-river terrace are so veneered deposits form, as it is poor in bedding and sorting. The longitudinal profiles of deposit forms of the Ara-river between the fill top terrace, fill-strath terrace and that of valley fills are unequal, former are steeper gradient and less curvature than those of present valley fills. 2. The processes of the South Han-river terraces and that of Ara-river terraces would be revealed as follow; 1) It is clear that the river terraces of the South Han-river were produced by the stream flow which has different stream regime from the present South Han-river. 2) Broadly speaking, the terrace form of Ara-river was mainly caused by marine transgression and regressions and greatly controlled by the crustal movements in this region since the middle Pleistocene. But in the case of the lower terraces, it may have resulted from Pleistocene. But in the case of the lower terraces, it may have resulted from changes in fluvial process during the last glacial age, possibly a decrease in discharge as presented by a decease in gravel size of the valley fills 3. The conclusions of this study are as follows;. 1) The river terraces of the South Han-river is a kind of slip-off and gentle slope terrace. And, that o Ara-river is a structural(upper and middle terrace) or fluvial(lower terrace) of ones that influenced of tectonic movement and climatic changes in the formation of fluvial fills during the last glacial age. 2) The stream flow which formed the South Han-river terrace was the ephemeral ones and the present river was derived from it, it may be inferred that the river terrace are the climate ettace formed in the more arid climatic condition than that of present. The fluvial process of ara-river terrace may have changed during the last glacial age, possibly from a decrease in discharge.
