People in the advanced society have deep interest in such environmental problems as noise, air quality, water pollution, etc. This paper submits the result of the research on the noise In the surroundings of the butane can explosion location. First, the noise level measured in a residential area, 245 meters' away from the butane can explosion location, was 59.3 dB. Also, the noise level measured in the IGUP (International Graduate University of Peace), 300 meters' away from the explosion site, was 52.5 dB. Second, the above noise levels are lower than the level specified In the Environmental Standard (65 dB), which represented that the experiment was safe. Third, the noise level in a place away from the butane can explosion location varied in accordance with the direction of the wind. Consequently, the noise in all locations (the places where damage to people is expected) surrounding the experimental butane can explosion location was measured to identify the effect of the wind irection.
다구찌 기법을 통한 LPG 저장탱크 시공방법의 최적화에 관한 연구

LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) vehicles in metropolitan area are being applied to improve air quality and have been proven effective for the reduction of air pollutant. In addition, the demand of gas as an eco-friendly energy source has being increased. With the LPG filling station is also increasing every year. These gas stations are required to install the securest storage tank because of possibility of causing huge loss of life and property. Therefore, in this paper, underground containment type is proposed as installation of the LPG storage tank using Taguchi method, which is considered to be more safe, economical, efficient, easy checking and simple construction method than any other. If leakage, economics, real estate utilization rate, safety, easy to check, simple construct about above ground, buried underground and underground containment storage tank are analyzed by Taguchi method, real estate utilization rate, economic and safety in turn are improved. Therefore, the underground containment storage tank is a optimal installation technology

Semiconductor industry has been dramatically developed with the information era of 21C, and the trend now is to consider that the technology of management system of the computer utility that has a high efficiency is important. This study investigated the intelligent decision system for residual gas purge process to effectively remove the residual gas in the tube after replacing the cylinder that is used for the gas cabinet or BSGS(Bulk Specialty Gas Supply System) of the semiconductor process. It was suggest from this study that it is possible to decide the type, frequency and volume of purge gas using various toxic gases which is necessary for each process. Also, this result will be utilized for operating the system, increasing the efficiency of management and saving energy.
A Study on Optimum Pressure Vent of Experimental Boothby Gas Explosion

The purpose of this paper is to find optimum vent port of the booth for gas explosion experiment.Also, it is to understand the safety of the booth for explosion experiment which is installed to let the traineesfor legal education which is managed by IGTT(Institute of gas technology training) know the riskiness ofexplosion. Since the booth for gas explosion experiment is a confined space, we used the exhaust modelfor indoor explosion. As the result, it was safely calculated when the amount of leaking gas was closeto the maximum of explosion limit on the explosion experiment.

From time immemorial, there have been 3E problems of energy, economy and environment. In particular, problems of energy and environment become increasingly serious after the industrial revolution. The demand for gas as an ecofriendly energy source is also increasing. With the demand, the installation and the use of gas boilers have also increased, so the damage to human life by the waste gas (CO and CO2) continues increasing every year. Hence, the aim of this study was to investigate the concentration of CO (Carbon Monoxide) by the length and the variation of the bent tube of the exhaust pipe by installing a boiler with the same method as a household boiler and to discover the harm to humans. For the effect of the length, the allowable concentration of CO is 50ppm, and the 3m of the once bent tube starts exceeding the allowable concentration of CO after 5 minutes, and the 4m and 5m starts exceeding after 3 minutes. In addition, the 1m of three times bent tube starts exceeding the allowable concentration of CO after 3 minutes.
A Study on Estimation of Noise Damage caused by Rupture of Butane-can(volume : 34?g)

It is very insecure to treat a butane can for cooking out of door. The human injury from the accidents of butane cans has been getting increased 1.5 times yearly since 2003. In this context, the Institute of Gas Technology Training in Korea Gas Safety Corporation carries out explosion experiment to make trainees to take all possible measures to ensure safe management of gas in the field by fully recognizing the hazards of gas explosion accidents. This study intends to examine the influence of such explosion experiments on the trainees witnessing nearby. The GEN exposed to the active students participating in the experiment away from 25 meters from the explosion site was 57.94 dB and the GEN to the passive students not participating away from 50 meters was 51.92 dB. According to Weber-Fechner’s law for the lower value than 65 dB which is the environmental standard, it is safe from the place 15 meter far from the explosion place. The environmental standard of offices is 50 dB, and it is lower than the environmental standard if the office is 65 meter far from the explosion place.
A Study on the Estimation of Human Damage Caused by the LP Gas Flame in Enclosure using Probit Model

The energetic and environmental problems have been getting serious after the revolution of modern industry. Therefore, demand of gas as an eco-friendly energy source is increasing. With the demand of gas, the use of gas is also increased, so injury and loss of life by the fire have been increasing every year. Hence the influence on flame caused by Vapor Cloud Explosion in enclosure of experimental booth was calculated by using the API regulations. And the accident damage was estimated by applying the influence on the adjacent structures and people into the PROBIT model. According to the probit analysis, the spot which is 5meter away from the flame has nearly 100% of the damage probability by the first-degree burn, 27.8% of the damage probability by the second-degree burn and 14.5% of the death probability by the fire.

Global warming is affecting all industries, and has been applied very quickly in the energy sector. Existing in all countries around the world by using fossil fuels to minimize environmental changes are developing a new alternative energy sources. Among the emerging alternative energy, using solar energy technology is applied across the industry, but the maintenance and repair to integrate solar cells and has been a problem occurs. To prolong the life of cells integrated on a solar cell is exposed when the non-eye, etc., when not integrated by the solar cells should not be exposed. In order to resolve these contradictions, a square solar flower of the biological mother was developed by using TRIZ technique(6SC).
