Intrahepatic sarcomatoid carcinoma is a rare tumor with poor prognosis due to its highly invasive and metastatic nature and difficulty for early detection. The most common form of intrahepatic sarcomatoid carcinoma is the sarcomatoid hepatocellular carcinoma, the development of which is usually associated with previous treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma. In contrast, sarcomatoid cholangiocarcinoma is extremely rare and results from spontaneous sarcomatoid transformation during the development of tumor. Here, we report a case of sarcomatoid cholangiocarcinoma, in a 58-year-old male, which developed at the site of previous treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma. A 9 × 7 cm sized tumor which had not been detected in the computed tomography exam 3 months before diagnosis was newly observed. The tumor rapidly progressed and the patient died only 31 days after the diagnosis. (J Liver Cancer 2017;17:100-104)
EuroSID-2적용이 차량측면충돌에 미치는 영향에 대한 해석적 분석

Although the U.S. and EU side impact regulations address the same safety problem. they differ in test procedures. barriers, dummies, and injury criteria. These differences lead to different vehicle designs, thus posing financial burdens in terms of dual development, testing, manufacturing and distribution of vehicles in various markets. With the need for international harmonization of side impact requirements, EuroNCAP recently announced a modified testing protocol using the EuroSID-2 which is modified model from EuroSID-1. And some characteristic behavior of dummy is changed mostly in rib deflection. Hence, this paper reviews the difference or EuroSID-1 and EuroSID-2. And, with the application of EuroSID-2 through full vehicle side impact analysis. we analyze difference of injury values and present the direction of further vehicle developments in ED market.

Recently, the domestic car industry is recording the high growth of average 12% while the competitiveness rises. The domestic car industry is showing dominant tendency of export specialization, and the most of exports using shipping. In case of export using shipping, there has to be no damage in the shipment and transportation process. And, the logistic works can tie down easy. Besides, the concept of robust design has applied to develop light weight vehicle of environment-friendly and high fuel efficiency. In this paper, we suggest the robust designed vehicle ocean shipping device which is shipping requirements satisfied using DFSS evaluation method.

Snap-fit is an effective method to provide a simple, economical, and rapid mean of attaching thermoplastic parts to other plastic materials or metals. Designers can dramatically reduce production and component costs in fastening and assembly of both plastic and non-plastic parts by taking advantage of the design possibilities of thermoplastics. The flexibility of thermoplastics permit simple, efficient designs, so snap-fit can be designed to allow parts to be either permanently fastened or frequent assembly and disassembly. This research is to develop a frequent assembly optimized snap-fit in outside rearview mirror (OSRVM) using design of experiments (DOE) in simulation. The simulation is mainly used in ABAQUS Software considered the nonlinear material property of polymer.

An application of high strength steels to door outer panels has contributed in body weight reduction by reducing thickness. They should be designed to meet various requirements such as panel stiffness, weight, and oil canning. Dent resistance is one of them and it can be defined a local permanent plastic deformation. Thickness, material characteristics, and the curvature can be influencing factors for design factor for dent resistance. This paper deals with which one is the major concern to determine door outer panel stiffness and dent resistance through simulation.
위상 최적화 및 두께 최적화를 적용한 차체 동강성 개선에 관한 연구

In all vehicle driving situations, some vibration level that is perceived by passengers is a criteria for determining the vehicle’s quality and ride comfort. The main excitations are from road, engine and wind. They can be classified as ‘Structural born vibration’ or ‘Air born vibration’ according to the load path. Among them, the most sensitive vibration paths from road and engine excitation that interface to body directly. Their performance level of vibration is dependent on a interface part’s stiffness, so generally we can improve it by increasing dynamic stiffness on this part at each frequency range. For this reason, in this study, we calculated dynamic stiffness at each frequency on interface parts with FRF(Frequency Response Function) based on CAE. Also we considered Topology optimization and size optimization process for an improved design in terms of vibration performance. The process is as follows; First of all, we identified the weak points as factors in the need to develop with FRF analysis on important interface parts. Secondly, we did topology optimization on areas that have weak dynamic stiffness which were identified in the first step. This result tells us that the load path is critical factor to improve stiffness. Thirdly, we re-organized some structure shapes based on the load path identified in the second step. In this step, we used ‘Morphing’ technology method for changing shape. Finally, we conducted size optimization for getting a final design that is optimized for dynamic stiffness improvement and mass reduction. In this study, we propose a useful method that can draw efficient solution of vehicle body’s dynamic stiffness improvement using an optimization process that sequentially covers shape change and thickness change.

To have a high reliability results, it needs to know well sensitivity about the analysis model and analysis method. First, to know the sensitivity about analysis model and analysis method, the 3 different analysis models were compared by each 3 different analysis method. In consequence, there were several important rules to have high reliability and accuracy results in the slam durability analysis. In addition, 3 different analysis methods were investigated by comparison of advantages and disadvantages.

Since a clevis-type joint has a assembly tolerance between bracket and sleeve, bolt size and fastening specification should be designed with consideration of a clamping load loss. Torque only tightening method shows a big variation of pretension load. Otherwise, torque and angle over the yield tightening method shows a reduced variation and increased minimum pretension load. This paper presents an effect of assembly tolerance on a clamping load loss and evaluates a variation of pretension load according to two different tightening methods. The theoretical modeling method to calculate a snug torque and angle for torque and angle controlled tightening is also introduced.
