        3차원 펄스 레이다 시험용 타이밍 신호 발생기 구현

        본 논문에서는 3차원 레이다 시험용 타이밍신호 발생기를 개발하였다. 개발된 발생기는 모의표적신호에 고각 정보를 모의할 수 있는 기능을 갖추었고, 내부에 구상변조 기능을 가지고 있어 80MHz까지의 변조된 신호를 발생할 수 있다. 또한 기저대역신호를 외부에서 입력받아 중간주파수로 변환하는 과정을 보드 내에서 처리가 가능하므로 다양한 시험환경을 쉽게 구현할 수 있고 별도의 파형합성기가 필요 없어 저렴한 비용으로 레이다 시험장비 구성이 가능하다. 아울러 운용프로그램에 따라 쉽게 파라미터를 변경할 수 있는 충분한 메모리를 내장하고 있어 시험환경을 변경할 필요가 있을 때 시간 및 비용을 절감할 수 있다. This paper describes some major schemes for developing timing signal generator which can be used for testing of 3D radars. The developed generator has a function not only to simulate information on elevation angle for the simulated target signals but also to generate a modulated signal up to 80MHz. Because this generator has an internal modulating function instead of an external modulating function and has sufficient memory enough to change the parameters according to operating programs, it realization of various test-environments for testing a radar can be made with easy and with low expense.

        확장성을 갖는 다목적 코히어런트 모노펄스 레이더 시뮬레이터 구현

        본 논문에서는 확장성을 갖는 다목적 코히어런트 모노펄스 레이더 시뮬레이터를 구현 하였다. 실제 목표물이 존재하지 않는 실내 환경에서 운영 가능토록 안테나의 기계적인 회전신호, 펄스 레이더의 운용타이밍 신호 및 표적신호 연구를 통해 이를 모의할 수 있는 TSG(Timing Signal Generator)보드를 개발하여 시뮬레이터에 탑재 하였다. 또한 레이더 기능 알고리듬의 추가나 운용 시나리오 변경에 의한 하드웨어 재구성이나 확장이 용이하도록 다중 DSP 구조의 프로그램 가능한 레이더 신호처리기를 내장 하였다. 모의실험을 통하여, 구현된 코히어런트 모노 펄스 레이더 시뮬레이터가 실제 사용 중인 레이더 전시기(RD9800)상에 움직이는 목표물의 궤적을 정확하게 지시해 주는 것을 확인할 수 있음을 보였다. This paper presents the realization schemes for a multipurpose coherent mono-pulse radar Simulator with extendable features. We developed and installed the TSG(Timing Signal Generator) board which can simulate a mechanically rotate signal of antenna, an operation timing signal of pulse radar and target signal, to operate the simulator without real target in the indoor environment. Also, with the insertion of the radar signal processor, it came to be easy to achieve the addition of radar function algorithms, to rebuild or extend the multi-DSP Architecture into the simulator. Throughout the simulation results, we verified that the designed coherent mono-pulse radar simulator can exactly display a moving target on the realistic monitor(RD 9800).

        완전상관 신호 환경에서의 항공기 탑재형 방향 탐지 기법 적용을 위한 파라미터 설정

        This paper proposes some important considerations for implementation and operation of high resolution direction finding system, equipped in airborne, which can be applied to estimate the coherent multiple source signals due to multiple path propagation and/or reflections at the receiver. The proposed considerations includes antenna array configuration, source signal modulation frequency, signal-to-noise ratio, number of antenna elements, etc., according to selected direction finding technique for estimation of the coherent multiple signals coming from the far-field terrestrial radio communication systems. Adaptability of parameters proposed in this paper is statistically verified through computer simulation. Our results are expected to be used as a guideline for parameter determination and the system implementation depending on direction finding algorithms under the given circumstances.

        To implement a target signal generator for radar like the synthetic aperture radar(SAR), phases of the received signals over successive pulses generated should continuously be maintained without error. This paper designs the phase controlled target signal generator combined with compensation scheme for the correction of phase error occurred while distance controlling of the target simulation system for the SAR test, and demonstrates the performance superiority of our simulator by confirming characteristics of the moving target signal with removed phase error.

        This paper presents a design methodology for the interference analysis simulator design of multi-beam satellite system user down-link to provide effectively mobile satellite service in the domestic environment. Furthermore, this paper shows an analysis example of co-channel interference influenced to a mobile earth station by base stations for terrestrial mobile service as well as by satellite, with same frequency band as the wanted satellite, serving to mobile earth stations in another cells, using the designed simulator, and proposes a useful co-channel interference coordination scheme for coexistence between mobile satellite service and terrestrial mobile service by way of guard space establishment, frequency reuse, etc.

        도플러 레이더 방식을 이용한 골프공 탄도 분석용 레이더 센서 설계

        This paper deals with developing a doppler radar sensor for golf ball flight trajectory analyzer. To achieve our goal, first of all, we designed a 10GHz planar phased-array antenna, a RF transmitting/receiving module, and a signal processing module which are major components of the proposed radar sensor for our analyzer. And then, all of the components we designed in this paper were tested if they the meet objective criteria by checking operating parameters of each component. Furthermore, accuracy of the principle parameters such as ball speed, launch angles(azimuth and elevation) from our radar sensor was shown by comparing with real parameter values. Finally, we statistically qualified that the developed analyzer meets the objective criteria, which is set to 5% of rms error, for the flying distance obtained using particle trajectory equation and the parameter values of our radar sensor developed in this paper. The results obtained from our research are expected to be used for not only golf ball flight trajectory analysis but also analaysis of moving objects for the sporting games like baseball performed in the limited area.

        900 ㎒ 대역 RFID Reader 구현

        Radio frequency identification(RFID) is a generic term that is used to describe a system that transmits the identity(in the form of a unique serial number) of an object or person wirelessly, using radio waves. It's grouped under the broad category of automatic identification technologies. Specially 900MHz the RFID system of substitute actor from the EPCglobal which is a ISO which is a international standardization organization because is expected with the fact that it will bring the epoch-making change of the circulation goods and an international civil standardization organization is to in the process of establishing a radio interface standard. Against the EPC Class 1 Generation 1 radio interface where the standard establishment by law possibility is high it analyzed from the dissertation which it sees and in the base which will reach and the substitute actor RFID Reader and the RFID antenna and the tag of the Alien company it did 900㎒ plan it produced it used it measures the result which it was visible.

        순차적 신호성분 제거에 의한 도래각 예측 알고리즘 연구

        In this paper, a novel direction of arrival (DOA) estimation scheme which can be applied to RTLS system is proposed. The proposed algorithm, called the signal parameter extraction via component cancellation (SPECC), is an evolutionary optimization-based method and extracts the amplitudes of signal sources and DOA impinging on a sensor array in a step-by-step procedure, different from other algorithms such as MUSIC, root-MUSIC, ESPRIT, etc., which extract those parameters on the basis of subspace method. Our algorithm has robustness to noise and high resolution in DOA estimation. In the simulation, comparisons with MUSIC, which has been known as one of the best algorithms, are presented to illustrate the superiority of the proposed SPECC algorithm. Especially, our algorithm shows a good performance in the situation of very less of time samples because of the short measurement time.

        이중 샘플링 클럭을 이용한 고해상도 표적거리 모의기 설계

        This paper proposes a high resolution radar target range simulator, for generating wide range of target scenarios, which is one of the core components of the radar testing equipment. Different from existing simulator with the same sampling clock cycle of the analog-to-digital converter(ADC) as of the digital-to-analog converter(DAC), the proposed simulator uses dual sampling clocks to simulate radar target range accurately. That is, our simulator has advantage of relatively small propagation delay due to target range increasing, compared to the existing simulator with same clock rate for ADC and DAC. This paper also demonstrates the performance superiority of our proposed simulator through simulation after presenting the operating principles and implementation schemes. The proposed radar target range simulator in this paper is expected to be effectively used not only to make the testing equipments for high resolution radars such as FMCW radar and SAR but also to verify their performances.
