The gold crown unearthed from the ancient tombs at Imdang-dong, Kyongsan-gun, Kyongsangbuk-do was in a state of severe corrosion that its original pattern couldn't be identified. Therefore, for the conservation of the relics, the following methods are employed :1. With 10% formic acid are used for the elimination of the bronze-rust and then plated them with gold.2. As a rust-proof treatment, 1% Benzotriazole is used for stem corrosion as well3. For protection and reinforcement of the surface of the relics, 30% incralac agentsare used.4. Pieces of fragments are bonded together by cyanoacrylate and on the backside are coated partially with Araldite for the reinforcement of the glass-wool.5. Silica-gels are kept into the acryl box for perfect maintenance.
월정사 팔각구층석탑내 발견 유물의 자연과학적 분석 연구

This research carried out ancient technique and composition of the relics recovered from the octagonal nine-storied pagoda of Woljeongsa temple using the scientific methods and obtained the following results. Firstly, The silver sarira inner case is consists of Ag, its materials comes out near 98wt%and comparing with the relics of Hwangnamdaechong, the contents of Ag and Ni are almost same with it. Secondly, The bronze sarira outer case, its contents of Cu is almost same with pure copper of which average is 99.7wt%. So, it should be named the copper sarira outer caserather than the bronze sarira outer case that has been called. Thirdly, The bronze mirror, though the contents of tin and lead are less than other contents which have been studied, they tend to have white color so they need to be made a close study. Especially, Because cultural property of nondestructive surface analytic method is not analyzed by the analysis of cross section and the moisten analysis, it may be occurred analytical errors by other factors.

The Seated iron Vairocana Buddha statue of Dopiansa Temple, Cheolwon was designated National treasure No. 63, it is very important to rearch about Korean Buddha statue because it has an inscription on the back indicates that it was made in 865 A.D., the fifth year of the reign of King Gyeongmun(861-875) of Unified Silla(668-935), through the devoted faith of some 1,500 Buddhist followers of the Cheorwon-gun area. In this conservation treatment, for the Seated iron Vairocana Buddha statue of Dopiansa Temple, Cheolwon plating layer and cashew paint layer of the iron pedestal were removed and for the paint the Body of the Buddha, fake metal layer and plaster layer were removed, stabilizing treatment and coating treatment were done, and removal and restoration of earlobe which had been damaged and later was restored with plaster in the regilding in 1988, and the white hair on forehead was replaced with material of rock crystal, and conch-shaped hair damaged was restored on 35 spots.

Some SUV vehicle have a problem that water droplet is attached in wind shield at lower speed 40㎞/h-60㎞/h when the vehicle run on load with a swallow rain puddle. Why the problem is happened? Various test and theorical approach is adopted for solving the problem. Finally we find the mechanism where water droplet is generated. how they escape from the tire and bumper, at last how they are attached on wind shield. The approach angle at front of tire is the major factor for preventing the problem. The next car that we make will obviously adapt lower approach angle at the front tire to prevent this phenomena.
