      • 모발 염색 시술시 오배자 추출물이 모발에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study is to find the protective effects of G. chinensis extract on hair by adding 2% of G. chinensis extract on solvent treatment instead of using general hair dye used in the field. Therefore, this study investigated the protective effect by comparing damage degree of hair using G. chinensis treatment solvents during hair dye procedure, and obtained the following results. According to the result of measuring the thickness of hair, the natural iron solution G2 group that conducted afterchroming showed the closest result with the control group of 0.031± 0.0013 ㎜. According to the result of measuring tensile strength, virgin hair was 123.52 ± 10.27 gf/㎟, and the G3 experimental group that showed difference from control group showed the highest tensile strength of 110.56 ± 8.61 gf/㎟. According to the result of measuring moisturizing power, virgin hair was 90.34% and G3 group that used G. chinensis treatment hair dye and conducted mordant dye at the same time with ferrous sulfate showed higher result of 80.28% than the C control group that used oxidation hair color. For comparison of hair color, it seems that G1, G2, G3, and G4 can be used for dressing up, and it was identified that natural hair dye containing G. chinensis content can be used for covering gray hair and for better looks. As a result of this study, it was identified in the whole hair experiment that using simultaneous mordant ferrous sulfate with G. chinensis treatment content shows excellent efficacy.

        한 · 중 · 영 신체 관용어구의 비교 연구

        This study compared body parts idioms in Korean, Chinese, and English on the assumption that these idioms reflect the life and culture of the native speakers of each language. The results of the study showed that there was a closer correspondence between the languages belonging to the same culture group than those belonging to the different culture group. The percentage of the Chinese idioms corresponding to the 64 Korean body parts idioms was 64% whereas that of English was only 25%. In order to find out the cultural elements underlying body parts idioms, the idioms were further analyzed using the criterion of the positive vs. negative emotions. The results also revealed that Korean and Chinese showed an almost identical ratio between the idioms implying positive and negative emotions, but that the positive idioms in English accounted for over 80% of the total. These results seem to reflect the different characters of the Oriental and Western cultures. The Western culture is more future-oriented and optimistic than the Oriental culture, and these different cultural elements are reflected in the idiomatic expressions of the languages belonging to each culture.

        영어 받아쓰기에 대한 전산채점과 수기채점의 결과 비교 분석

        This study discusses the scoring methods to assess Korean students taking an English dictation test. We compared three different dictation assessment results from 21 native English teachers, 8 Korean English teachers, and a computer, all of which assessed 30 Korean sixth graders. We also tried to figure out how students`` errors defined by linguistic categories are related to the differences in scoring and attempted to discover what factors have caused them. The results showed distinct differences between the scores given by native English teachers and those given by Korean teachers, with the computerized scores almost always being the lowest. The results can contribute to a better algorithm for scoring, so that automatic instant scores that most teachers would agree on can be given by computer. It will save time and provide students with better suggestions for what they would need to focus on in their future studies.

        영화 등장인물들의 발음변수의 사회언어학적 연구

        The goal of this study was to examine the patterns of how some of the optional phonological variables in English are manipulated by a variety of characters in the three movies chosen for the study. It was found that different patterns surface depending on the region, sexes of the speakers, and social classes where they belong. In the case of coda /r/, American English and British English used opposite prestige forms, i.e., in British English /r/-less variable was the prestige form whereas in the American English prestige form /r/ was retained. When the setting of the movie was neither the US nor the UK, as in the movies Mulan and Aladdin, and American English was the norm in the setting, it was noticed that sometimes the British accent in the form of /r/-less variable could be considered as a prestige form. Compared to the /r/-less variable, the variable of /t/ flapping was found to be used in a more flexible way by both American English and British English speakers. The other optional variables such as palatalization, verb+to reduction, and /t/ deletion after /n/ were also noted to be used very freely by all speakers to produce informal styles of speech. However, the informal styles of speech were much more preferred by male speakers than by female speakers. Finally, in the case of "-ing" variable, the stigmatized form /-.In/was only used by the soldiers and Mushu in the movie Mulan and also by Genie, the fairy giant of the lamp in the movie Aladdin. This supports Labov"s theory that in certain social classes, the stigmatized nonstandard variable may play a role of the covert prestige norm. It is also expected that the results of this study can be used as useful reference when teaching English pronunciation to the learners.

        해양플랜트에 사용되는 배관의 열 하중과 구조물의 운동에 따른 구조안전성 평가

        본 논문에서는 해양구조물의 배관에 작용하는 환경조건과 구조물의 움직임에 따른 구조안전성 평가를 수행하였다. 배관에 작용하는 조건은 N2 generator의 설계 조건을 분석하여 최고온도와 최저온도 조건을 적용하였다. 구조물의 움직임은 DNV 규칙에 따라 계산하여 적용하였다. 각각의 조건을 조합하고 열 하중, 운동 하중 그리고 배관지지대의 유무에 따라 총 26가지 하중 조합을 구성하였고 상용프로그램인 MSC Patran/Nastran을 이용하여 해석을 진행하였다. 열해석은 Steady-state 방법인 Sol 153, 열-구조 연성 해석은 Linear-static 방법인 Sol 101을 각각 적용하여 수행하였다. 해석 결과, Set 1과 Set 2에서는 배관 내의 온도가 낮을수록, Set 3에서는 온도가 높을수록, Set 4에서는 배관 내외부의 온도 차가 클수록 응력이 증가하는 경향이 있었다. 하지만, 온도 하중만 있는 조건과 운동 하중만 있는 조건에서의 응력의 합이 두 하중의 복합 하중 조건에서의 응력과 같은 값을 나타내지는 않았다. 즉, 운동 하중에 의한 영향은 운동의 방향, 배관의 배치나 지지대의 위치 등에 따라 달라진다는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서, 설계 시점에서 배관에 작용하는 운동 하중의 크기와 방향, 배관의 배치 그리고 배관 지지대의 위치 등을 종합적으로 고려할 필요가 있다. The objective of this study was to evaluate structural safety according to environmental conditions acting on the piping of offshore structure and the motion of the structure. As for conditions acting on the piping, the maximum and minimum temperature conditions were used to analyze the design conditions of N2 generator. The motion of the structure was calculated and applied according to the DNV(Det Norske Veritas) rule. Each condition was combined and a total of 26 load combinations were constructed according to thermal load, motion load, and presence or absence of pipe support. Analysis was performed using a commercial program MSC Patran/Nastran. Thermal analysis was performed by applying the steady-state method, Sol 153. Thermal-structural coupled analysis was performed using Sol 101, a linear-static method. As a result of the analysis, the stress tended to increase when temperature inside the pipe was lower in Set 1 and Set 2, when temperature was higher in Set 3, and when the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the pipe in Set 4 was increased. However, the sum of stresses in the condition with only temperature load and the condition with only the kinetic load did not show the same value as the stress in the composite load condition of two loads. That is, the influence of the motion load varied depending on the direction of motion, the arrangement of pipes, and the position of the support. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the size and direction of the motion load acting on the piping, the arrangement of the piping, and the location of the pipe supports during the design of piping.

      • Topside Module 구조물에 대한 초기 구조안전성 평가

        해양플랜트는 발주처와 선급에서 요구하는 다양한 항목들을 설계 시에 반영하여야 한다. 특히, 해양구조물에 탑재되는 Topside Module의 경우 육상플랜트와는 다르게 공간적 제약이 크고 구조물의 움직임과 같은 해상 환경조건 및 안전에 관련된 요구사항들이 많아 그 설계 과정이 매우 까다롭다. 그런 이유로 해양플랜트에 사용되는 기자재들의 국산화율이 매우 낮은 상태이고, 산업발전과 시장개척을 위해 지속적인 기술개발과 투자가 필요하다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 Topside Module 구조물에 작용하는 하중을 DNVGL 규칙에 따라 계산하고, 각 하중조건에 따른 구조안정성 평가를 진행하였고 국산화된 제품의 구조 신뢰성을 향상하고자 하였다. 구조해석은 DNVGL 소프트웨어를 사용하였고, 총 5가지 하중조건으로 구조해석을 진행하여 다양한 움직임에 대한 안전성을 검토하였다. 그 결과 좌현방향 Rolling상태(Load Case 2)에서 최대응력이 발생하였고, 응력수준은 허용응력의 약 93% 수준으로 구조안전성이 확인되었다. The offshore plant should reflect various items required by the Owner and the Class Society in design. In particular, in the case of a Topside Module mounted on an offshore structure, the design process is very demanding, unlike the onshore plant, because of the large spatial constraints and the many requirements related to marine environmental conditions and safety such as the movement of the structure. For this reason, the localization rate of equipment used in offshore plants is very low, and it is necessary to continuously develop and invest in technology for industrial development and market development. Therefore, this study, the load acting on the topside module structure was calculated according to the DNVGL rule, and the structural safety was evaluated for each load condition and the structural reliability of the localized product was improved. DNVGL software was used for structural analysis, and structural safety of various movements was reviewed by conducting structural analysis under a total of five load conditions. As a result, the maximum stress occurred in the port-direction rolling state (Load Case 2), and the stress level was confirmed to be about 93% of the allowable stress.

      • Effects of Experience on the Production of English Unstressed Vowels

        This study examined the effect of English-language experience on Korean- and Japanese-English late learners' production of English unstressed vowels in terms of four acoustic phonetic features: F0, duration, intensity and vowel reduction. The learners manifested some improvement with experience. The native-like attainment of a phonetic feature, however, was related to the phonological status of that feature in the speakers' native language. The results suggest that the extent to which the non-native speakers' production of English unstressed vowels improved with English-language experience varied as a function of their native language background.

      • 해상운동 조건을 고려한 N2 Generator 배관의 구조안전성 평가
