There are three significant noises from the sunroof while driving. Among them, sunroof tilt-up noise has mainly high-frequency characteristics in the side and rear openings of sunroof. Because of complex structures to operate sunroof, significant flow disturbance makes strong turbulent noise. In this study, sunroof tilt-up noise was predicted by using numerical simulation code and the results were compared with experimental data.

Automotive engine cooling fan has two important roles. One is to cool engine down and the other is to reduce the air temperature in the engine room for avoiding heat damage of the parts. As engine cooling fan speed becomes more faster for the recent powerful engines, engine cooling fan noise is considered more important. Engine cooling fan noise is influenced by the fan design but also engine room layout. Because engine room layout is determined at the early stage in the car development, it is very important for predicting the engine cooling fan noise in advance to adopt the optimized layout. In this study, for three different vehicles with same powertrain and engine cooling module, engine cooling fan noise predictions are conducted using a CFD/CAA software, PowerFLOW. Based on the results, the key parameters related to fan noise are selected. And among them, for two parameters, numerical simulations are simply performed for engine cooling fan noise prediction..

Vehicle interior noise visualization method could make it efficient to find the position of various wind noise sources. Modified beamforming method by spherical microphone array with 5 cameras is developed for sound source detection in the 360-degree surrounding plane. Especially, MEMS microphone is applied in order to reduce both of cost and weight of the device without any loss of detecting capability. Several kinds of annoying noise problems could be solved with efficiency and precision by applying the sound identification method.

In the present study, we predict and enhance the ventilation and wind noise from wiper. For this purpose, we change the angle between windshield glass and hood. Also we change the height of the exposed cowl top cover. We vary the angle between windshield glass and hood from 155o to 164 o. The height of the cowl top cover is varied from 0 to 10㎜. The ventilation and wiper rush noise are in inverse proportion of the angle. In the case of the exposed cowl top cover, the ventilation is proportion to the height of the cowl top cover, but wiper rush noise is the smallest at 4㎜.
준설토 이송시 유동효율에 미치는 전자기장 인가 영향에 대한 실험적 고찰

준설토 이송의 효율을 증가시키기 위한 연구로써 전자기력을 배관에 인가하여 유동저항을 줄이고, 윤활 층에서의 유속을 침강 임계속도이상으로 증가시키어 침강으로 인한 폐색을 방지하는 기술을 개발하였으며, 이를 대규모 장거리 송토 현장에 적용하기 위하여 송토 거리 500m 규모의 현장에서 그 영향을 검토하는 실험을 진행하였으며, 실험결과 유동효율 증 대로 인한 송토 유량이 30% 이상 증가함을 실험을 통해 보였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 전자기장 인가장치와 계측장비로 초음파 유속 프로파일러를 사용하여 배관 내 유속프로파일을 모니터링 하여 그 데이터를 비교분석하여 효과를 검증하였다. As the research about increasing the efficiency of dredging soil transport, the technology ,which reduce the friction between pipe wall and fluid in the pipe and disturbed generating pipe blockage, has been developed. So for the purpose of applying this technology to real construction site, main test has been tried at the real scale test in field(500m dredging soil transport length). As a test result, this paper will show 30% flow efficiency increasing by permitted electro magnetic force to the pipe. And test result was evaluated as a ultra sonic velocity profiler.

Fluctuating aerodynamic noise around A-pillar has been become more important as improving the reduction techniques in NVH, concerning to the sound quality in the cabin. Additionally, evaluating A-pillar turbulence noise and obtaining the countermeasures in the early design stage is required strongly. Configuration parameters according to the turbulence noise around A-pillar was studied intensely using neural network algorithm.
