This study developed several ecological maps with GIS database based on the analysis of existing ecological survey reports and the change detection on the Nakdong river estuary by using Remote Sensing and GIS. The data which are used to analyze the spatiotemporal change detection are from the spatial resolution of 30m Landsat TM images Nov, 31, 1984 and May, 17, 1997 and 1/25,000 topographical maps established by National Geography Institution, various data published in Pusan metropolitan government. The developed ecological maps with GIS database can be used for an effective mechanism for managing the ecosystem.

This study developed an ecological mapping technique with GIS database using the analyses of existing ecological survey reports and the change detection on the Nakdong river estuary. The data which are used to establish GIS DB include 2 Landsat TM images on Nov. 31, 1984 and May 17, 1997, 1:25, 000 topographical maps established by National Geography Institution and various ecological survey reports published by Busan metropolitan city government. The details for producing ecological map are as follows. At first, the current methods of ecomapping efforts and previous ecological surveys of Nakdong river estuary were carefully examined. Secondly, the land cover maps were created from the classified Landsat images of 1984 and 1997 for the spatiotemporal ecosystem analysis. Thirdly, the ecosystem was evaluated by using GIS ecological database based on the criteria of botany, zoology and water quality etc. Each criteria was reclassified into 3 stages which describe the overall quality of ecological condition. At last, the comprehensive ecological map was suggested as a prototype of ecosystem assesment and management tool with the discussion of further study. The findings of this study would be a milestone for preserving and managing the ecosystem.

매크로 언어를 이용한 입지인자 변수조정에 따른 토지적합성 분석에 관한 연구

본 연구는 적지분석시 이용되는 자료 중 의사결정과 관련된 입지인자를 추출하고, 매크로 언어에 의한 입지인자 조정에 따른 의사결정과정상의 이해상충을 조정할 수 있는 활용가능성을 검증하였다. 연구의 대상지역으로는 부산광역시 기장군 내의 개발제한구역을 대상으로 환경친화적인 실버타운 개발적지를 분석하였고, 지리정보체계의 지도학적 모델링 기법과 매크로 언어(macro language)를 이용한 입지인자별 변수조정에 따라 보다 효과적이고 합리적인 적지선정을 목적으로 하였다. 대상지의 현황분석 및 적지분석을 위해 기장군의 지형도, 행정자료들을 바탕으로 도로현황도, 시설물현황도, 표고, 경사, 향 분석도와 수계도 등의 수치지도 데이터베이스를 구축하였으며, 구축된 데이터베이스를 이용하여 입지성에 따른 분석을 통해 1차 적지를 선정하였다. 선정된 몇개의 후보지들 중에서 순위를 결정하기 위해 2차 선정조건으로 접근성, 이용성, 환경성에 따른 가중치를 부여하여 2차 적지를 선정하였다. 또한 이들 모든 세부인자들과 분석과정을 매크로 언어를 도입하여 조정이 가능하도록 함으로서 발주자나 계획가의 선호 및 목적에 따라 입지인자별 변수를 조정함으로써 보다 쉽고 효과적으로 적지를 선정할 수 있도록 하여, 이와 관련된 이해상충의 조정이 가능하도록 하였다. 매크로 언어를 이용한 자동변수조정에 따른 적지분석은 기존의 적지 분석과 비교해 더 효과적이고 합리적인 방법으로 이용될 수 있을 것이다. This study is to validate the use of macro language for the land suitability analysis aiming to help to resolve land use conflicts. The silver-town suitability analysis is conducted on the Geejang Gun, Busan Metropolitan city. Such digital maps as terrain, road, facility, and water body were created for various cartographic models. A cartographic model identified the best suitable areas for silver-town development based on the such site selection variables as a distance to facility and road, slope and aspect of terrain, land use etc. Then, the other cartographic model identified the most favorable site among the candidate sites based on the comparison of the aspect of proximity, usage and environmental quality. Macro language was used in the models to resolve land use conflicts relating to the decision making process of the final site selection. This study will improve the effectiveness and rationality of the traditional site suitability analysis.

This study was carried out to find out the way to build a comprehensive wetland ecosystem database using the technique of remote sensing and Geographic Information System. A Landsat TM image (taken in Oct. 30, 2002), Kompsat-2 images (Jan. 17, 2008 & Nov. 20, 2008), LiDAR(Mar. 1, 2009) were used for the primary source for the image analysis. Field surveys were conducted March to August of 2009 to help image analysis and examine the results. An actual wetland vegetation map was created based on the field survey. Satellite images were analyzed by unsupervised and supervised classification methods and finally categorized into such classes as Phragmites australis community, mixed community, sand beach, Scirpus planiculmis community and non-vegetation intertidal area. The map of wetland productivity was developed based on the productivity of Phragmites australis and the relationship to the proximity of adjacent water bodies. The developed 3 dimensional wetland map showed such several potential applications as flood inundation, birds flyway viewsheds and benthos distribution. Considering these results, we concluded that it is possible to use the remote sensing and GIS techniques for producing wetland ecosystem spatial database and these techniques are very effective for the development of the national wetland inventory in Korea.
전남 서남해안 간척지 개발로 인한 환경분쟁에 관한 연구

This study attempted to characterize social effects of the environmental dispute caused by the Youngsan River Ⅲ project, which caused significant wetlands loss in southwestern coastal area. In order to understand and measure these effects, disputants' conflict frames were examined. The purpose of this study is to explain the characteristics of the disputants' conflict frames. The vehicles used to collect the necessary data was open-ended questionnaires, Likert-type and other questionnaires. 24 subjects were contacted for open face-to-face interviews and 116 residents were for the Likert-type and other questionnaires. Analyses of survey results revealed that disputants involved in the conflict had developed different conflict frames and six different types of frames were clearly identified from all the parties involved in the conflict case of Youngsan River Ⅲ project. Thus, the content of the frames was classified based on the role of disputants. It also revealed that disputants (the residents of the Youngsan River Ⅲ project area) had statistically significantly different levels of perception based on their conception of the Youngsan River Ⅲ project and their living sources of fishery type.

This study is intended to describe and suggest the future applications in the field of Marine Technology(MT), which are is provided by National Differential Global Positioning System(NDGPS) infrastructure in Korea. Such countries as Japan, Australia, Europe, and the United States have reviewed various applications by using DGPS positioning technology with high accuracy of submeter level. Many researchers have found several applications usable by NDGPS. Korea government is also seeking for applications to efficiently utilize NDGPS services. In this paper, we defined the characteristics of Global Navigation Satellite Services(GNSS) position services with high accuracy in the field of Marine Technology(MT). The suggested services would help expand the future applications for NDGPS in Maritime areas.

한국의 연안에는 심각한 이해상충이 발생되고 있다. 그러나, 연안관리를 일찍 도입한 국가에서 도입되고 있는 이해상충 조정 프로그램이나 조정자의 역할이 부재하다. 본 연구의 목표는 우리나라 연안에서 발생되고 있는 이해상충을 평가하기 위해 평가기준의 정립과 그 특성을 구분하는데 있다. 국내외 연안관련 갈등사례를 정리한 이후, 사례조사로 시화호를 둘러싸고 전개되었던 이해상충을 소개하고 관련자의 3차에 관한 설문조사를 근거로 이해상충 평가에 중요한 인자를 정리하였다.
