Purpose: This study was undertaken to elucidate whether CC chemokine receptor 2 (CCR2) exists in human peritoneal mesothelial cells (HPMCs) and whether monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) has direct effects on epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) and fibronectin expression in HPMCs. Methods: HPMCs were isolated from a piece of human omentum and were incubated with M199 media containing 5.6 mM glucose (LG), 5.6 mM glucose+94.4 mM mannitol (LG+M), LG+10 ng/mL recombinant human MCP-1 (LG+MCP-1), or 100 mM glucose (HG) with or without a specific inhibitor of CCR2, 1.0 μM RS102895, for 4 days. Levels of secreted MCP-1 in culture media were determined by ELISA. Western blot was performed to determine fibronectin, E-cadherin, α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) and CCR2 protein expression. Results: MCP-1 protein levels were significantly increased in HG-conditioned media compared to LG media (p<0.05). CCR2 protein was expressed in HPMCs, but there was no difference between LG-and HG-stimulated cells. α-SMA protein expressions in HG and LG+MCP-1 groups were significantly higher relative to LG cells, while E-cadherin protein expressions were decreased in HG and LG+MCP-1 groups compared to LG cells (p<0.05). In addition, there were significant increases in fibronectin mRNA and protein expression in HG and LG+MCP-1 groups (p<0.05). These HG-induced changes were significantly abrogated upon pre-treatment with RS102895. Conclusion: HG and MCP-1 directly induce EMT and enhance fibronectin expression in HPMCs, and these HG-induced changes were attenuated by the inhibition of MCP-1/CCR2 system, suggesting that increased MCP-1 levels by HG may contribute to the development of peritoneal fibrosis.

Purpose : This study was undertaken to elucidate the usefulness of urinary βig-h3 concentrations in differential diagnosis of isolated microscopic hematuria patients. Methods : Seventy-seven patients, in whom renal biopsy was performed due to microscopic hematuria without proteinuria, were enrolled. The patients were divided into two groups, IgAN group (patients with IgA nephropathy, N=37) and NM group (patients with normal or minor change on renal biopsy, N=40), and the clinical characteristics and laboratory findings were compared between the two groups. TGF-β and βig-h3 concentrations in urine were determined by ELISA and were compared between the two groups. To establish the optimal cut-off value of βig-h3/creatinine (Cr) ratio for the diagnosis of IgA nephropathy, a receiver operating characteristic curve was constructed and the sensitivity and specificity were calculated. Results : A comparative analysis revealed no significant differences in age and sex ratio between the two groups. There were no differences in serum IgG, IgA, IgM, C3, and C4 levels between the two groups. The urinary βig-h3/Cr ratio was significantly higher in the IgAN group compared to the NM group (6.632.6 vs. 4.462.6 ng/mg, p<0.05), whereas there was no significant difference in the urinary TGF-/Cr ratio between the two groups (14.82.1 vs. 13.75.1 pg/mg, p>0.05). A cut-off βig-h3/Cr ratio 4.5 has a sensitivity of 85.0% and a specificity of 77.8%. Conclusion : The urinary βig-h3/Cr ratio was a good predictor for the diagnosis of IgA nephropathy. Therefore, renal biopsy should be considered in isolated microscopic hematuria patients with high urinary βig-h3/Cr ratio.

Care robots that provide dietary supplements to the elderly and the disabled should be able to intelligently interact with the users’ intention to eat in real-time and provide the food they want. To this end, based on deep learning, we have developed a user interface that facilitates the selection of food to be eaten according to six user gaze directions. A single-stage object-detection deep learning model has been implemented as a lightweight, single-stage object-detection deep learning model that can be installed on commercial tablets, and the accuracy of this model was 0.9857.
확장청크와 세분화된 문장부호에 기반한 중국어 최장명사구 식별

일반적으로 명사구는 기본명사구와 최장명사구로 분류되는데 최장명사구에 대한 정확한 식별은 문장의 전체적인 구문구조를 파악하고 정확한 지배용언을 찾아내는데 중요한 역할을 하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 확장된 청크(chunk) 개념과 다섯 개의 클래스로 세분화된 문장부호 정보를 자질로 사용한 두 단계 최장명사구 식별 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법은 기본모델보다 2.65% 향상된 평균 89.66%(F₁-measure)의 우수한 성능을 보인다. In general, there are two types of noun phrases(NP): Base Noun Phrase(BNP), and Maximal-Length Noun Phrase(MNP). MNP identification can largely reduce the complexity of full parsing, help analyze the general structure of complex sentences, and provide important clues for detecting main predicates in Chinese sentences. In this paper, we propose a 2-phase hybrid approach for MNP identification which adopts salient features such as expanded chunks and classified punctuations to improve performance. Experimental result shows a high quality performance of 89.66% in F₁-measure.

일반적으로 중국어의 명사구는 최단명사구, 기본명사구, 최장명사구로 분류된다. 최장명사구에 대한 정확한 식별은 문장의 전체적인 구조를 파악하고 문장의 정확한 지배용언을 찾아내는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 특성에 따라 5개의 클래스로 세분화된 문장부호를 학습자질로 사용하여 최장명사구 자동식별을 진행한다. 제안된 기법은 평균길이가 4인 최장명사구의 식별실험에서 기본모델(baseline)보다 4.5% 향상된 평균 85.1%의 우수한 F-measure 성능을 보인다.
