Ada 프로그램에서 패키지 활용의 국부화 모델에 관한 연구

Software system is a hierarchical structure with collection of program units. Software system can import external packages globally or locally depending on the usage within a system. If the imported package is used globally, the soft-ware system can be influenced globally by any change of package and programmer's debugging time for the program maintenance will be greater. To solve these problems, it is desirable to use the imported package locally right on the usage point within the system. The model presented in this paper analyzed entity usage of package in structure of program, identified the usage level to obtain localization and provided information for restructure of the program to localize package usage. To obtain localization, it identified declared entities inside the imported package and analyzed the specification and body part of program unit to identify entities referenced from the imported package. The proposed model can be used to improve the maintainability of software system and contributed to reduction of programmer's debugging time in program maintenance.
Ada 프로그램의 Visibility Graph 생성모델에 관한 연구

Programming-in-the-Large refers to software development environment and includes the organization and representation of a system structure, module decomposition, component dependence analysis, seperate compilation, subsystem and composition identification. The most intricate problem in this environment is the mastery of the structural complexity of large software systems. Ada programming language is tailored to the needs for building of large, integrated software systems from many program units. The visibility graph generating model presented in this paper transforms Ada source program into a visibility graph with nodes for program units and edges for visibility relations among program units. The system description in terms of program units and their visibility relations produced by this model can be utilized for some apects of Programming-in-the-Large environment and also assists designeers, programmers, integrators and maintainers in defining, understanding and exploring the structure of evolving software systems. The model designed and implemented in Ada programming language runs on PCs and will remain useful both in practice and as experimental tool.

Reusing software is a promising solution which overcomes the software crisis in the software development environment by improving the software productivity, reliability and maintainability. To develop software, some developers reuse existing softwares, but without an adequate design environment, software reuse would not be applicable. The purpose of this paper is to design and implement the X system, and measure empirically its resuability in the development phases. The development processes of the X system used a software reuse design guidelines within the Object-Oriented Design method and the Ada programming language. In order to measure the resuability, metrics was proposed and applied for each phase of development. The results of this paper address some reusability measurement that may be used as basic data when estimating the amount of reuse for a combined development project of military applications.
