Recently social concern is concentrated on maintenance, preservation and stability of high strength concrete structure. So non-destruction is considered importantly for strength estimation of high strength concrete structure. The purpose of this study is to investigate application of N · M type of schmidt hammer for compressive strength estimation of high strength concrete. The result is as follow; As relationship of which compressive strength and rebound number of N · M type schmidt hammer has a high mutual, it is consider that N · M type schmidt hammer are useful for compressive strength estimation of high strength concrete in this study.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the practical application to the construction field of strength presumption equation proposed by reviewing the strength of mock-up of high strength concrete using the equation after proposing the strength presumption equation of high strength concrete which is suitable for domestic situation. The results are as follows; More the variables of the rebound number, ultrasonic pulse velocity, W/B, curing condition and age were added orderly, more the strength presumption degree was improved. Also in the case of the strength presumption equation by rebound number test, it is considered for the practical application to the construction field to be possible due to a little difference between real measure value and presumption value.

Among durability of concrete, the carbonation process corrodes bar makes progress slowly by the diffusions of CO<sub>2</sub> from surface of concrete. This carbonation process is affected by both the concrete factors such as W/C ratio, types of cement and aggregate, admixture types and the environmental factors such as CO<sub>2</sub> concentration, temperature, humidity and so forth. especially the carbonation process is closely related to CO<sub>2</sub> concentration and Air permeability. therefore This study is to examinis affected by relationship with Air permeability Coefficient and CO<sub>2</sub> diffusion Coefficient Have an Effect on carbonation in reinforced concrete As a results of this study, we have come to make a sense of an available correlation with Air permeability Coefficient and CO<sub>2</sub> diffusion Coefficient.
