The objective of this study is to investigate the physical and mechanical properties of cement mortar under various contents of copper fiber and expansive admixture. According to test results, as copper .fiber contents increase, compressive and tensile strength are enhanced, while they decreases with increase of expansive admixture contents above 9%. Thermal conductivity increases with the increase of copper fiber contents, while it shows opposite results with increase of expansive admixture. As copper fiber and expansive admixture increase, drying shrinkage shows to be reduced 0.9%, of copper fiber contents and 9% more or less of expansive admixture are recommended in order to prevent the cracks and improvement of temperature distribution of floor of apartment.

Currently, in apartment house, the regulation stipulates that a balcony with more than 2m of width should be equipped with landscape facilities. Accordingly, many construction company provide small garden, but, plants do not grow well due to bad permeability. Therefore, the objective of this study is to develop permeable polymer concrete blocks. According to test results, combination 6% of polyester resin as binder, filler and type C aggregates with continuous grade distribution show not only high strength gain, but, good permeability and low cost.

In this paper, tests are carried out in order to investigate the strength development of concrete under various binder kinds, W/B and curing temperature. Strength development of concrete are estimated using Logistic model, which is considered with maturity, and strength ratio of concrete at 28days to that at early age are also investigated. According to experimental results, it is found that good agreements are obtained using logistic model below 20℃. Strength ratio of concrete at 28days to that at early age increases in case W/B decreases and curing temperature increases. Tables and graphs for strength ratio of concrete are provided in this paper. It is capable of obtaining and predicting the periods to attain design strength by considering increment factor of strength more earlier with the table and graphs studied in this paper. This paper presents the reference data on removal time of form, determination of target strength and strength inspection of remicon whether the test specimens meet the specified criteria of compressive strength. It is possible to performs positive quality control related to strength development.
