In CNG (Compressed natural gas) fuel supply line, whose main components are receptacle and check valve are used to charge high pressure gas to the tank of NGV (Natural gas vehicle). It is reported that the seal is separated occasionally form valve seat and results in blockage of gas flow. In this paper, MARC is used to investigate the reasons of seal separation and suggest design improvements. The static gas pressure distributions acting on the seal which calculated using FLUENT are considered to investigate accurate seal deformation behaviors. Deformed seal shapes are obtained for various amounts of seal interference and its location, gas pressure distributions and Young's modulus of the rubber used. The results showed that the reasons of seal separation problems are verified theoretically, and suggested examples of new design method. Therefore the present numerical methods can be applied in designing and performance analysis of rubber seals adopted in high pressure fluid machineries.

In this paper, a CFD(computational fluid dynamics) code, FLUENT is adopted to investigate accurate flow characteristics for a slipper bearing which is used swash plate type hydraulic axial piston pump Static pressure and velocity distributions, and velocity vectors are plotted for different film thickness and slipper rotational velocity. In recess region, there exists a doughnut shaped vortex, and the flow fields are highly asymmetrical under slipper rotation. Therefore the numerical method adopted in this paper can be use in design of hydrostatic components and further studies are required.
스포츠 브랜드 프로모션에 따른 소비 타겟층의 구매 의향에 관한 연구 ╶ 서울특별시 주요 거점 상권을 중심으로╶

본 연구는 스포츠 브랜드가 브랜딩과 프로모션을 가지고 소비자들에게 접근할 때 어떤 방식이 효율적인 접근인가에 대한 연구로 시작된다. 설문조사를 통한 선호도가 가장 높은 스포츠 브랜드를 선정한 후에 각 브랜드마다 어떤 브랜드 아이덴티티를 가지고 있는지 알아본다. 이를바탕으로 유동인구 수와 매출액을 조사를 통해 가장 높은 서울특별시내 주요 거점 상권이란 지리적 요인을 선정을 하였고, 그 결과 크게 강남역 일대와 홍대입구역일대가 가장 뚜렷한 곳으로 나타났다. 브랜드 프로모션을온라인, 오프라인 프로모션으로 두 가지의 방법으로 나누었다. 스포츠 브랜드와 타겟층간의 다양한 프로모션을 통한 관계 형성과 그 결과로 나타나는 잠재적 소비 파급효과를 확인해보고자 연구를 진행했다. 각 스포츠 브랜드들은 단순히 매장에서 물건을 파는 것이 아닌 프로모션을접한 타겟층이 스포츠 브랜드를 선택을 시작으로 소비와그 다음 소비까지 이어지는 과정까지 주목해야 한다고결론을 맺었다. This study begins with a study of how the sports brand is approaching consumers with branding and promotion. After surveying the sports brands with the highest preference, find out what brand identity each brand has. Based on this, the geographical factor of the main business district in Seoul, which was the highest, was selected through the survey on the number of floating population and sales. The brand promotion is divided into two ways, online and offline. The study was conducted to confirm the relationship between the sports brand and the target audience through various promotions and the potential consumption ripple effect. Each sports brand concluded that instead of simply selling things in stores, the target audience who had access to promotions had to pay attention to the process from choosing a sports brand to consumption and then consumption.

Various type of rotary unions are widely used to provide fluids between rotating parts. To prevent fluid leakage, most of the rotary unions adopt mechanical seals which is highly reliable but too expensive and complicate. In this paper, a simple lip seal system made of PTFE is adopted in designing of a compact rotary union. Using MARC, the behavior characteristics of lip seal are investigated for seal mounting process, and obtained variations of contact pressure distribution and contact width with interferences and fluid pressures. The results showed that contact width are increased with interference and pressure. The maximum contact pressure are also increased up to a certain interference and pressure, however, then decreased. The numerical methods and results can be applied in designing and performance improvement of lip seal adopted rotary union, and further extensive studies are required.
시일과 코팅된 스틸면 사이의 마멸입자에 의한 접촉응력 해석

In many dynamic seal applications such as lip seal and compression packings, it is reported that the heat treated and coated hard steel shaft surfaces were weared out after long usage. And it is understood widely that the dominant wear mechanism related in dynamic sealing surfaces is abrasive wear. However, little theoretical and analytical works has done until now about the contact problems. In this paper, a new contact analysis is carried out to investigate the wear mechanism in contact seal considering elastomeric seal, hard wear particle and coated elastic steel surface. For various interference and coating thickness, deformed seal shapes, contact and shear stresses distributions are obtained using MARC. In case of relatively hard seal material, PTFE, the fatigue wear can be occur because very small wear particle in sealing surface produce very high contact and shear stress.

In this paper, the deformation characteristics of O-ring for radial sealing are analyzed and compared with those of axial sealing. MARC which is a nonlinear problem solver was adopted and deformed seal shapes and stress distributions are obtained for various interferences and working pressures. For two type of O-ring, the contact widths variations are similar with interference and pressure. However, the magnitude of stress in radial seal was much lower than that of axial seal for same conditions. These results can be explained as relative decrease of interference in radial sealing. Therefore, the results and numerical procedure obtained in this paper can be use in designing of various O-ring applications, and additional study is required.
