In order to secure correlation of the cavitation performance between a full-scale ship and a model ship for the Container ship , the model ship with propeller and rudder is installed in the Large Cavitation Tunnel(LCT). cavitation behaviour is observed, fluctuating pressure is measured and its results are compared with those of the full-scale ship. The model test is conducted at the design-load condition, the same condition as that of the full-scale ship. The cavitation test conditions were decided considering the self-propulsion test results and stern wave height. On the basis of model-ship correlation analysis, it is considered that the experimental technique for the container ship was established.
