Eruptive collagenoma is a rare acquired type of connective tissue nevus that predominantly consists of collagen. It usually presents as multiple, asymptomatic, firm, flesh-colored or pink nodules or plaques that are symmetrically distributed over the trunk and upper extremities. Four cases of eruptive collagenoma in linear or zosteriform arrangements have been reported in the English literature. A 16-year-old boy presented with multiple asymptomatic erythematous papules and nodules on the left side of his sternal margin and the posterior side of his left neck. A punch biopsy taken from one of the nodules on the chest showed thickened collagen fibers in the dermis. Masson-Trichrome staining revealed an increase in the collagen fibers, which were broad and arranged haphazardly, and the elastic staining indicated a reduction in the elastic fibers in the dermis, which are findings that are consistent with collagenoma. We report a case of eruptive collagenoma that presented in a linear arrangement, which is a rare distribution pattern for connective tissue nevi. (Korean J Dermatol 2015;53(2):148∼151)

로얄제리가 Streptozotocin 유발 당뇨 흰쥐의 치료 및 예방에 미치는 영향

본 실험은 로얄제리를 streptozotocin 유발 당뇨쥐에게 치료 및 예방효과로 나누어 투여시 나다나는 혈당과 혈청 지질수준 및 혈구수에 대하여 관찰하였다. 실험 동물은 정상권 (Normal)과 로얄제리만을 투여한 RJ군(Royal Jelly), streptozotocin만을 투여한 군(STZ), 예방효과를 위해 로얄제리를 2주간 투여한 후 당뇨를 유발한 군(RS1, RS2), 치료효과를 위해 당뇨를 유발한 후 2주간 로얄제리를 투여한 군(SR1, SR2)으로 나누어 3주간 본 실험을 행하였다. 체중 변화량을 보면 STZ군과 SR1군만이 크게 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 식이섭취량은 STZ군과 RS1군, SR1군이 증가하였다. 혈당에 미치는 효과에서 RJ군과 RS1군, RS2군에서는 모두 혈당이 정상군과 유사하였고 나머지 군들에서는 효과가 없었다. 혈청내 지질 수준에서 총 지질량과 중성지질량은 STZ군에 비하여 SR1군이 낮게 나타났으며 총 콜레스테롤 수준은 STZ군이 높은 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 동맥경화지수는 RJ군과 치료효과를 위한 SR1군이 정상군에 비하여 낮은 경향을 나타내었다. 혈구수에 미치는 영향에서 RBC(red blood cell)수와 HGB(hemoglobin)수는 RJ군과 치료효과를 위한 SR1군이 높게 나타났고, WBC(white blood cell)수는 RJ군과 SR2군이 높은 경향을 나타냈다. In order to investigate the preventive and therapeutic of royal jelly on diabetes, the levels of blood glucose and serum lipids as well as the number of blood cells were determined in streptozotocin(STZ)-diabetic rats. Rats were divided into seven groups. The RJ group was administered royal jelly and the STZ group was treated with streptozotocin to induce diabetes. To determine the preventive effect, diabetes was induced after administration of royal jelly for 2 weeks in group RS1/RS2. In group SR1/SR2 diabetic rats were administered royal jelly for 2 weeks to investigate the therapeutic effect. After 3 weeks, the body weight was reduced in STZ and SRI groups and food intake was increased in the STZ, RS1 and SR1 groups. The blood glucose level was similar to the control group in the RJ, RS1 and RS2 groups and there was no effect in the other groups. The total lipid and triglyceride level were lower in the SR1 group as compared to STZ, and the total cholesterol level was higher in the STZ group. The index of atherogenesis was lower in the RJ and SR1 groups compared to the normal group. The number of red blood cells and hemoglobin was higher in the RJ and SR1 groups and the number of white blood cells was higher in the RJ and SR2 groups.

This study was conducted to present basic data for establishing a human rights education system in the future through awareness of human rights among college students majoring in sports. To achieve this purpose, the differences in human rights awareness, human rights education, and sports ethics center awareness were analyzed through frequency analysis using IBM SPSS 22.0 through a questionnaire targeting 184 college students majoring in sports across the country, and the results were as follows. First, although most students had encountered the word human rights through TV and the Internet, they appeared to lack awareness of the human rights situation. Second, 77.7% responded that they had experience with human rights education, but in response to the need for human rights education, a high figure of over 80% responded that it was necessary or higher. Third, in terms of awareness of the Sports Ethics Center among college students majoring in sports, 78.3% of students responded that they did not know much about it, indicating a lack of overall understanding of the Sports Ethics Center. These results showed that sports majors lack an overall understanding of human rights, so professional human rights education with purpose and content should be provided based on this study.

Kingdon의 정책흐름모형을 적용한 한국의 스포츠클럽 정책 결정 과정 연구

This paper is an analytic study on the social and political situation in Korea that has affected the adopting process of sports clubs as a policy agenda, which was analyzed by applying the policy flow model of Kingdon (1984). The results are as follows. First, the analysis indexes showing the limits of the elite upbringing policy and the low participation rate for living sports and the experience of the excellent sports system of advanced countries with the 2002 World Cup formed a policy problem stream. Second, the fire accident of Cheonan Elementary School Soccer Dormitory raised concerns about the problems of school physical education, such as violations of human rights of student athletes and deprivation of learning rights. These public concerns formed a political stream claiming political actions. Third, a policy alternative stream was formed with the emergence of a `co-action committee` which called for the abolition of non-educational and anti-human dormitory training for young athletes with the goal of achieving maximum performance. Finally, the above three streams combined to shape the social demand for the overall change in physical education structure in Korea, and the active participation of policy community and policy entrepreneurs opened the window of policy change. On these bases, the sports club were adopted as a policy agenda. We hope that this research will be a point of reference for the revitalization and healthy development of sports clubs.

The Economist published the Glass Ceiling Index of OECD member countries in 2021. Unfortunately, Korea has been at the bottom of the list from 2013 to 2022. This ratio of gender employment in Korea is also appearing in the sports field. Therefore, the purpose of this researcher is to analyze the glass ceiling of the sports world and derive strategies to overcome it in the future. For this purpose, Delphi technique and AHP were used for field experts who had more than 10 years of professional athlete experience in the past and more than 10 years of experience in the sports field after retirement. For the analysis of the questionnaire, SPSS 23.0 program and Expert Choice 2000 program were used. The research results showed that the top four factors were administrative and financial support, respect for diversity, improvement of customary discrimination, and support for educational programs in order. The results of sub-categorization were ‘legalization of the male to female ratio in the hiring of senior positions’ in ‘Administrative and financial support’, ‘Preparing a generational change plan’ of ‘respect for diversity’, ‘Improving the perception of women’s work ability’ of ‘Improving customary discrimination’, ‘Development of a system for nurturing female leaders’ of ‘Educational Program Support’ each was identified as a priority. In conclusion, first, it is necessary to stipulate specific conditions related to recruitment so that anyone can be hired without being marginalized. Second, among the subcategorization of respect for diversity, the necessity of generational change was selected as the highest priority, and the reason can be said to be due to the double suffering of exclusion from the previous generation and exclusion as women. Third, they said that the process of public discussion was important to improve awareness, and Finally, they wanted a substantial educational program.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the means to cope with the conflicts and stress that female golf instructors are facing in the process of socializing the status of female golf instructors. The study aims to understand the type and reasons of their stress, conflict and furthermore, suggest a way to effectively react to these problems. The reason behind this is because this approach can relieve the problems in advance or enable them to sensibly react to these issues as they proceed with their career as an instructor. It will also contribute to the career development of female instructors because the objective of this study is to propose an individual and social solution to better this issue because women are likely to be discriminated and it is necessary to comprehend the reason behind this phenomenon. The study was based on a phenomenological analysis within the qualitative research. Phenomenology focuses on identifying the meaning of a phenomenon through the participant’s experience and is widely used to analyze experience.
