東洋圈 古代都市計劃의 空間構成體系에 關한 硏究 : 條坊制를 中心으로

This study aims to analyse the general patterns of ancient capitals in the ancient era and to prepare the guidelines for the future urban planning of our country. for the study, the philosophic backgrounds of ancient planning were studied. In the applications process, 5 ancient capitals of shilla, Tang and ancient Japan in the ancient era(B.C. 1C ∼ A.D. 6C.) were anlyzed by the philosophic concepts. The conclusion of analysis were as follows. 1) The Japanese and Korean capitals were under the influence of chinese way planning. The common factor was "Jung-Jun" method(井田法). And Korean capital(Kyung-Ju) was the branch of "Ju (周)" and the Japanes capitals were that of "Tang"(唐). 2) The size of basic urban block was 544 m (=350 步) and its name was "Bang (坊)". 3) There is two shapes of 'Bang'. One is rectangle(chinese style) and the other is exact regular square(Korean and Japanese style). 4) The street patterns of the Oriental capitals were grid-iron systems and Every capitals had the hierarchy of the road(The main arterial-24m, The general way-12m, path-4.5m). Only the chines capital has wider main aterial (150m) because it was a kind of urban plaza for the palace.

The science park development strategy assumes that a region's long term economic viability will depent on its ability to generate and sustain a concentration of business capable of developing new products based on new technology. For regions faced with a high concentration of older, declining manufacturing industries Science Park have been viewed as a tool for facilitating economic restructuring through the incubation of new technology based small and medium-sized enterprises. For other regions whose economics have been performing well, investment in the new innovation capacities of new technology in science park may represent a long term insurance policy. From the empirical evidence that is available, three ways in which Science Park can boost local economic development and increase local innovation capacity can be identified: First, Science park can encourage and facilitate the formation and growth of new businesses based upon the research knowledge and expertise available with a university or other center of research. The existence of a Science Park., near a universities encourages researchers to consider the commercial exploitation of their research and offers them an location amenable to this process. Second, science parks can also act as a catalyst for change in a region. They often provide new sources of employment in an area of traditional industries and help to change the image of the area by demonstrating that it can create, attract and support high-tech industry. This effect may extend beyond the science park because of the opportunities created for existing suppliers to become subcontractors to the new companies, thus widening the benefits and introducing these suppliers to new technologies and skills. Third, science park can as a mechanism to upgrade the technological sophistication and added value of existing industry by providing a location where technical support can be given to local firms which manufacture and market products. This study review the development model of science park at Chungnam National University(CNU) in terms of those three points of view. Particulary the role of CNU science park has been emphasized as one of the strategies of boosting local economic development and increase local innovative capacity from the university.

Every cities in Korea face with various environmental changes so that they innovate industrial structure and promote information industry as ways of making their competitive power stronger. With this, they transform themselves into ecological develop management city to keep developments sustainable. therefore this study is to show prospective Daejeon corresponding with needs of the changable day and to present a master plan as a point of urban development. In the field of harmony between development and conservation, and this study is to show the layout of ecological urban plan consideration for sustainable development. In the sphere of making competitive power strong, this study aims not only to find a meaning of making Daejeon prospective developed technology city but also to set up a plan to have multi-sided urban environments which can improve the quality of living.
