A studies on distribution of marine snail in Garolim Bay was carried out in the region of Dassan-Myon and Sungmoon- Myon, Chungnam Province. The results of this survey were as follows; 1. The snail collected at all surveyed staations are composed of 18 species, 9 families. 2. The dominant species were significantly different from one another of the surveyed stations of silt-day area and rocky area. The dominant species are Umbonium thomasi in silt- clay area as the Ⅱ and Ⅲ stations. In the rocky area, dominant species are Littorina brevicula as in the stations of Begeng Island, Meoko Island, Daejo and Sojo Island. 3. According to the Value of correlation matrix, the distribution of snail of the surveyed area was subdivided into Ⅱand Ⅲ stations group and Daejo, Sojo, Meoko Island group. On the other hand, it was recognized that the distribution of species of snail was subdivided by soil texture of habitat. 4. According to the Principal Component Analysis, the distribution of species of snail suggest that Umbonium thomasi and Littorina brevicula were habited under favorable conition.

본 연구에서는 웹을 통해 온라인으로 기초통계분석이 가능한 시스템의 구현 및 활용에 대하여 다루었다. 구현된 시스템은 사용자의 컴퓨터에 별도의 통계소프트웨어가 없어도 단지 웹브라우저만으로 웹에 접속하여 기초통계분석을 행할 수 있으며, 기초통계학의 교육을 위한 학습시스템과 연계하여 사용하면 더욱 효과적일 것이라 생각된다.
