A structure is an assemblage of members that should be fastened. High strength bolts have been frequently used to make structural connections. When a load is applied on a line of action that does not pass through the centroid of a bolt group, there will be an eccentric shear effect on the bolt group. In this study, a fastener which consists of 6 bolts was fabricated, and a jig was designed to produce variable eccentricities. Loads were applied to the fasteners by UTM until failure, and the maximum load capacity that the fastener can sustain was measured. Together with the experiments two theoretical approaches were used to predic t the load capacity, one is the elastic analysis and the other the plastic analysis. An expression was proposed for the load versus deformation response of the bolt material, and the secant method was used to get a numerical solution for the non-linear plastic analysis. Test results showed that the load capacity of a fastener for the plastic analysis was higher than that for the elastic analysis, and the load capacity for the plastic analysis was closer to the experimental one.

본 차량에 장착되는 전자장비의 증가로 인해 교류발전기와 배터리를 이용하여 전기에너지를 공급하고 있으며, 자동 차 교류발전기의 수명단축은 교류발전기를 구성하고 있는 부속품들 중에 수명이 한정적이거나, 어떠한 조건에서 사용되느냐 에 따라 수명에 영향을 끼치게 된다. 이러한 수명단축의 원인들을 파악하기 위해서는 교류발전기의 전압을 측정하여 분석하 는 시스템이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자동차 교류발전기의 수명과 성능을 유지하기 위한 점검 및 정비에 필요한 정밀한 계측 시스템을 개발하였다. PC기반의 모니터링 시스템과 측정데이터를 저장할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고, LabVIEW SW를 이용하여 계측 시스템을 구동하기 위한 프로그램을 개발하였다. 차동 OP-AMP회로를 이용하여 교류발전 기의 발전전압, 여자전압, 램프전압, 배터리 전압, 크랭크 각 센서에 의한 엔진 회전수를 NI DAQ를 통하여 전압을 측정하고 LabVIEW 프로그램을 이용하여 측정데이터를 분석하였다. 기존에 개별적으로 이루어졌던 측정을 5개 채널까지 복합적이고 이동성이 용이한 측정이 가능하였고, 실시간으로 모니터링하며 분석하기 때문에 이상동작 유무 및 고장상태를 예측하기 위 한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Faults in electric power system can be a critical problem for vehicles. The system durability is determined mainly by the durability of their components and operating conditions. Monitoring the conditions of the electric power system may be necessary because it is very difficult to predict precisely when it will fail. Therefore, the aim of this study was to develop a diagnosis system for an electric power system of a vehicle. The alternator voltage, excitation voltage, lamp voltage, battery voltage, and engine rpm from a crank angle sensor are monitored continuously and the system fault can be then detected in real time. NI USB- 9201 DAQ and LabVIEW SW have been used to measure the voltages and analyze the data. Compared to conventional measurements for only each component, an integrated and portable measurement method was developed. In addition to the monitoring the electric power system in real time, the saved data from the measurement also provides valuable information to improve the durability of the components.

This paper presents the robust control of a composite beam using μ-synthesis. The natural frequencies of the composite beam featured by a piezo-film sensor and piezo-ceramic actuator are calculated by using the modal analysis method and then modal coordinates are introduced to obtain the state equations of the structural system. Two-natural frequency were considered in the modelling, because robust control theory which has inherent robustness to structured uncertainty is adopted to suppress the transients vibrations of a glass fiber reinforced(GFR) composite beam. A robust controller satisfying the nominal performance and robust performance is designed using μ-synthesis theory based on the structured singular value. Simulations and experiments were carried out with the designed controller and effectiveness of the robust control strategy was verified by results.
부분적으로 유체가 채워진 원통형 관내의 외팔보 진동특성에 관한 실험적 연구

This paper presents the vibration characteristics of an intelligent cantilever beam in contact with fluid using PZT actuator and PVDF film. The effect of liquid level on free vibration of composite beam in a partially liquid-filled circular cylinder is investigated. The dynamic behaviors of a flexible beam-water interaction system are examined. The coupled system is subject to an undisturbed boundary condition in the fluid domain. In the vibration analysis of wetted beam, the decoupled analyses between beam and fluid have been conventionally employed by considering firstly the composite beam vibration in air and secondly performing the correction taking account for surrounding fluid effects. That is, this investigation was to look at how natural frequencies, mode shapes, and damping are affected by liquid level variations. Using the coupled modal reanalysis method employing the governing equations and the clamped-free and free-free boundary conditions, the vibration analysis of beam in contact with fluid is performed. We also carried out the experimental verification about reliability of theoretical methods to inclusive vibration analysis of the fluid-structure system with PZT actuator and PVDF film. It was found that the coupled natural frequencies decrease with the fluid level for the identical composite beam due to added mass effect.

This paper was researched on the arc tube inspection of HID(High Intensity Discharge) lamp based on machine vision. Presently inspection method of the arc tube is performed by manual operation. The quality of finished goods is dependent on operator`s conditions such as health or skill. These cause the production of objects which have defects. To improve this inconvenient conditions, vision based inspection methods are introduced in this paper. The object image is detected by digital CCD camera. And using detected image, template matching algorithm whose template is the arc tube part is applied. Edge detection is performed using the position coordinate obtained through the result of the template matching method. Through a series of inspection process, faults and goods are identified. Test algorithms and lighting conditions shows good results, and through the application of this inspection method, the increment of production is expected.
