경찰조직에서 양면적 리더십의 조직시민행동에 대한 영향과 직무만족의 매개효과

This study seeks to empirically clarify the impact of ambidextrous leadership (exploratory leadership and exploitative leadership) on organizational citizenship behavior, as well as the mediating effect of job satisfaction, in order to address new challenges faced by traditionally hierarchical police organizations in a rapidly changing social environment. A survey was conducted in December 2020 targeting 494 police officers from the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency, its subordinate police stations, and precincts. The survey consisted of 16 items on ambidextrous leadership, 13 items on job satisfaction, and 12 items on organizational citizenship behavior. The relationships between variables and mediating effects were verified using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that exploratory leadership had a direct impact on both individually-oriented and organizationally-oriented organizational citizenship behavior, whereas exploitative leadership had no direct effect. Both dimensions of ambidextrous leadership positively influenced job satisfaction, with exploratory leadership having a greater impact. Job satisfaction was identified as an important antecedent of organizational citizenship behavior, fully mediating the relationship between exploitative leadership and organizational citizenship behavior, and partially mediating the relationship with exploratory leadership. These findings suggest that in police organizations, exploratory leadership that pursues innovation and change is a key mechanism for promoting voluntary actions among organizational members, and point to the need for developing the capacity to flexibly switch leadership styles according to the situation and establishing an organizational culture that encourages creativity.

물품매매거래상 부족수량 인도 시 매수인의 권리에 관한 연구: 영미법을 중심으로

Purpose: This study examined buyers’ rights when the seller delivers a quantity of goods less than the contracted quantity, which is one of the most important factors in the sale of goods. Research design, data, and methodology: The Research design of this paper included investigations of judicial cases as well as the British Sale of Goods Acts and American Uniform Commercial Code. The methodology is based on the literature acquired from a university library and the Internet. Results: Several judicial cases in the United Kingdom (UK) and the USA during the 19th century had shown legal ambiguity and uncertainty. Nevertheless, such a problem was reduced considerably from the 20th century owing to the change in the legal idea of breach of contract. As a result, the buyer has the right to reject the short delivery of goods from the seller and terminate the contract with the right to bring a legal suit to compensate for the damages incurred because of the short delivery. Conclusions: In the case of short delivery of goods, whether the contract is entire or several is very important because the buyer’s right to reject the goods is very different. In addition, the de minimis rule, seller’s intention to cure the non-conformity, etc., are other important factors influencing the buyer’s right to reject the short quantity.

During the last three decades childhood cancer survivorship study has extensively developed and now we have much extent of knowledge about survivor’s long-term mortality and chronic illness. One of the many challenges that females survivors face includes reproductive health, which involves reproductive and sexual health changes that could later significantly reduce one’s quality of life. Alkylating chemotherapy, irradiation of the CNS and/or ovaries, and pelvic and genitourinary surgery can adversely affect the reproductive organs. Increased awareness of the unique needs of female cancer survivors,timely evaluation of gonadal function, and active intervention for fertility preservation before, during, and after therapy is warranted.
