화재에 의한 콘크리트 충전 각형강관기둥의 온도분포에 대한 유한요소 해석

In this research, fire resisting capacity of concrete filled slender rectangular steel tube (CFT) column was evaluated according to the finite element analysis. This finite element analysis of CFT column was conducted using Adina program, version 8.5.2. As major variables, the strength of concrete, heating time, and heating plane were established. At the first place, by performing heat transfer analysis of the member having considered thermal characteristics of materials, the temperature distribution within the cross section was predicted, and having closely reviewed temperature distribution data and considered mechanical properties, the researcher examined the behavior of CFT column and its temperature distribution at the time the fire breaks out. The results from analysis indicated that, in case of one to two planes each according to the heating plane, the increase rate of minimum temperature within the cross section through the central part was about 43% when heating it for 60 minutes, and about 23% when heating it for 120 minutes, and about 23% when heating it for 180 minutes, and that, in case of two to four planes, the increase rate of minimum temperature was about 17% when heating it for 60 minutes, and 14%, for 120 minutes, and 8%, for 180 minutes.

Strengthening method using carbon fiber sheets and boards have been developed for the rehabilitation of structures. However, it is very difficult to estimate their resistance capacity as time goes by. Therefore, damage information for strengthened structures with carbon fiber sheets and boards are investigated and the estimation method of their resistance capacity by using the damage information is developed. The final objective of this research is to propose the guideline and method for estimating resistance capacity of strengthened structure as time goes by. In this paper, specimens with strengthening method of carbon fiber sheet and boards as test parameter are tested and their behavior is discussed.

This paper presents thermal analysis on the RC column under constant axial force simulating low part of medium height frame building. Material property of concrete and reinforcement for the thermal loading is reviewed from various papers. 2D nonlinear model for example column with 30mm of cover thickness is established in ADINA progam and several analyses are performed. Main parameters in the analysis are the variation of concrete strength and direction of thermal loading. 24MPa, 45MPa and 60MPa are prepared for concrete strength. Uniformally distributed loading and reversed triangle loading for both sides are considered. And analysis for the case of thermal loading only for one side is also dealt with. Analysis result showed that the required fire resisting time of the example column closer to 60 minute which is calculated from the axial deformation due to the thermal loading. The reinforcement reaches to the it's yield strength at 40 minute while concrete didn't arrive to it’s compressive strength until 110 minute.

Recently, the construction demand for large underground space has been in creased so that the excavation technology for underground construction of building has been being developed. The construction of sheeting pile is for resisting the lateral pressure of soil during the excavation. In general, conventional sheeting H-pile is often used as a temporary member installed upon construction of outer retaining wall at basement floor. In CBW (Composite Basement Wall), R/C basement wall is combined with H-Pile and resists lateral soil pressure together. In this study, a total of five specimens with simple-ends were tested. Main parameters were the depth of basement wall and arrangement of shear connectors. The purpose of this experiment is to evaluate the flexural capacity to offer the raw-data of composite basement wall.

A study is performed to analyze the status and research trend of retrofit method used in building structures at Korea. 152 Reinforced Concrete buildings with retrofitted members of 7238 in domestic after 1999 are gathered and reviewed. In addition, literature review about 191 research papers for retrofit of RC structure is performed. Results show that most widely applied retrofit method and target member are wire tension method and flexural member such as beam and slab. respectively. Recently. the use of Carbon Fiber Sheet(CFS) is increasing and many research results concerning it are provided. Therefore, it is recommended to develop an effective method to estimate the structural capacity of retrofitted member with CFS.
