PG기반 V2X 통신 연계 VILS 시험안전지원에 관한 연구

Recent developments in autonomous driving system (ADS) have heightened the need for the significant of the system validation and verification. Especially, Vehicle-in-the-Loop simulation (VILS) has been utilized as a feasibility test to validate and verify the system in virtual or real world. Recently, many studies have been conducted to develop VILS to which MR technology is applied in a Proving Ground (PG) environment for virtual and actual targets. At this point, it is important to ensure that the VILS test can be safely performed in a PG environment mixed with other test vehicles. In this study, a study “PG-based VILS Test Safety Support” is proposed so that the VILS test can be safely conducted when testing using VILS with MR technology in a PG environment. First, concept of test safety support is defined. Also, critical situation-based scenarios are derived from standard test analysis, and the safety range of the VILS vehicle is set based on the safety distance. In addition, a plan is designed to provide information on approaching vehicles that threaten the safety of VILS vehicles to VILS vehicles through V2X communication.
