본 연구에서는 파일지지식 소파방파제의 파압특성을 2차원 수리모형실험을 통해 분석하였다. 단일 유공벽 및 이중 유공벽을 가진 모형체를 통해 실험을 수행하였으며, 측정된 파압결과는 Goda 파압과 비교분석하였다. 단일 유수실의 경우, 측정된 최대파압이 Goda 파압과 비교하여 전면벽의 경우 25%, 후면벽의 경우 30%가 감소하였다. 이중 유수실의 경우에는 최대파압이 Goda 파압대비 전면벽 27%, 중간벽 53%, 후면벽 64% 감소한 것을 알 수 있다. 이로부터 이중 유공벽을 가진 소파방파제가 단일 유공벽의 경우와 비교하여 파압이 현저히 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 이는 유공 1실과 2실의 횡슬릿의 유공벽을 통과하면서 발생하는 파랑에너지의 소산으로 인해 후면벽에 작용하는 파압의 크기가 작아졌기 때문으로 판단된다. This study investigates the wave pressure characteristics of the pile-supported breakwater with single or double perforated walls through 2-D hydraulic experiments and the measured wave pressures are compared to those of wave pressures by Goda's formula. For single chamber, the measured wave pressures in the front wall and rear wall decreased to about 25% and 30%, respectively, compared to those of wave pressures by Goda's formula. Also, the decrease in the wave pressures for double chamber were about 27%, 53%, and 64% in the front wall, middle wall, and rear wall, respectively. It was found that the pile-supported breakwater with double perforated walls was more efficient than the single chamber due to wave dissipation effects of double slit walls with horizontal slits.

A PRIDE cadmium distiller can distill cadmium and salt from a LCC(Liquid Cadmium Cathode) deposit in both an electrowinning and a residual actinide recovery equipments. The LCC deposit is a mixture of U/RE/Cadmium metal alloy covered with LiCl-KCl eutectic salt which are put in a alumina crucible. When the LCC deposit at the upper part of a distiller vessel is distilled at vacuum, the cadmium and eutectic salt are evaporated and condensed at the lower part and the U/RE metal powders remains. The PRIDE Cadmium distiller consists of distiller vessel, furnace, vacuum pump and control panel assemblies and its capacity is 10 kg-cadmium per batch in an argon cell. The distiller was designed for easy remote operation using MSM, BDSM and crane. Design of the distiller was checked through 3D simulation tests and improved through remote control tests using mock-up equipment. The PRIDE cadmium distiller shall be operated and repAred according to the remote operation and maintenance procedure. When this equipment was set up in PRIDE, the whole equipment was transferred by overhead crane and was set up at appointed spot of PRIDE argon cell after it was entered into argon cell through transfer lock. We derived operation of equipment and improved its device according to conservative assessment factors by accomplishing blank test related to operability test of driving part and process parameter for start-up test. Therefore PRIDE cadmium distiller after the blank test device was advanced and supplemented.
