In this paper, traction system and electric devices of a double deck train were designed to examine technical reasonableness for driving on the ground and underground. Double deck trains operated in other countries were also considered. For designing the electric devices, two types of accelerations and electric devices arrangements which are based on the current subway system were considered.

This report was studied about the design of formation and lay out of major components of double deck train operated at main line of the domestic. And we carried out the basic design of train formation, the lay out of propulsion system and brake system and studied about the performance of train traction and brake system of double deck train.

According to Urban Railroad Act, trains can be operated only after they take The Urban Transit Performance Test. There has been Performance Tests for the trains which has been manufactured since 2000, but it is nearly impossible to utilize the Performance Test results other than the original purpose due to the fact that they are not organized in detail, In addition, test steps have difficulty using the former test results. Thus, test results must be computerized and made into database to make the best use of them and to carry out efficient and dependable tests. For this purpose, this paper analyzes the task and the procedure of the performance test on trains. On the basis of the analysis results, this paper checks the availability of the computerized information and the possibility of improving the task concerned
전기철도환경하에서 부하변동에 따른 플리커지수의 변화양상에 대한 연구

The environment of electric railway has included both fast and slow load variation, which may occur in the office or maintenance factory or running electric train. This paper investigated flicker indices according to voltage fluctuations on three different situations; The base office in new subway in the daytime and night time. inside of electric train running in conventional subway. And also the variations of harmonic frequencies(2nd. 3rd, 5th) with time were measured at the same time. Flicker index is a good tool for evaluating the volage fluctuation quantitatively and show some relationship with even harmonic frequencies produced by the voltage fluctuation when the electric train is running on the railway.

In this paper, development and performance characteristic of propulsion system(Converter/Inverter) using IPM(Intelligent Power Module) for 120㎞/h AC electric vehicle is proposed. The proposed propulsion system is comprised of IPM converter and inverter stack which uses natural air-cooling system, DC-Link, OVCRf unit and control unit. And also 2-Parallel operation of two PWM converter is adopted for increasing capacity of system and the VVVF inverter control is used a mixed control algorithm, where the vector control strategy at low speed region and slip-frequency control strategy at high speed region. Rogowski coil is a kind of sensor for high amplitude and very short period current and suitable for the measurement of PD pulse. This paper have simulated the relations between PD signals and Rogowski coil which has its own equivalent circuit and investigated signals of Rogowski coil induced by PD pulse current and compared with the PD signal obtained from conventional PD measuring system in accordance with IEC60270.
