헬기 시장진입 가능성을 수요측면, 산업구조측면, 인프라측면에서 검토하였다. 검토 결과 일부 부족기술의 확보와 금융과 헬기 관련 제도 등을 보완하면 내수를 중심으로 진입이 가능하다는 결론을 도출하였다. 헬기산업의 성장동력화를 위한 추진전략을 제시하고 전략 달성을 위하여 헬기수요의 지속적 창출, 핵심 부품 소재 육성 및 경쟁우위 기술력 확보, 인증 및 운용활성화 인프라 구축, 금융제도 개선 추진, 그리고 헬기 민ㆍ군ㆍ관 상시 정책조정기능 강화를 5대 추진과제로 제안하였다. We study the possibility of entering into helicopter market with respect to demand, industry structure and infrastructure. In conclusion, it is possible to enter into it based on domestic demand if we complement some technology, financial assistance system and helicopter operation related regulation. Strategy is made for helicopter industry to be a growth driver and then we suggest five projects to carry out it. Those are lasting creation of helicopter demand, possession of core part material and competitive technology, construction of airworthiness certification system and infrastructure for activation of helicopter operation, improvement of financial assistance system and finally strengthening policy modulation between civil, army, and government.
Modelica를 이용한 헬기 로터 블레이드 동적해석 M&S 모델 개발

This paper describes modeling & simulation(M&S) model for dynamic analysis of helicopter rotor blades. Simulation model is developed using Dymola tool which implements the open source language - Modelica. Modelica is appropriate for developing multibody dynamic analysis model. To develop an M&S model efficiently, model based systems engineering(MBSE) is applied. Some diagrams such as requirement diagram, block definition diagram and sequence diagram etc. are drawn to capture the concept of M&S model. This activity is done utilizing the open source tool - Papyrus.

Operational Concept Descriptions or Document(OCD) shall be developed to understand stakeholder's desire for to-be-delivered system. But there is little study on methodology of OCD generation and many developers do not understand importance of OCD in Korea. According to Nicole Roberts' industry(18 U.S. companies and organizations) survey, only 30% of system development projects had OCD, too. Researchers and developers have opposing views regarding the generation of an OCD. Many researchers believe that the development and use of operational concepts at the start of large projects is essential. Alternatively, developers may view the OCD as a burden to the development process rather than an enabler due to the extensive documentation requirement. In this paper a couple of OCD guidelines were investigated to clarify how to build a CONOPS effectively and what to include. Finally, OCD for rotorcraft based Personal Air Vehicle System(PAVS) was developed as a case study. In the future, a template for generating OCD appropriate to Korean environment could be proposed.

About 20 years have passed since Systems Engineering(SE) was introduced in Korea. KCOSE(Korean Council On Systems Engineering) and KOSSE(The Korean Society of Systems Engineering) were established during that period and Korean SE community has increased quantitatively. But We can not answer "Yes!" for the questions "Did Korean SE community increase qualitatively? and How about SE education or training?" Many participants at SE lecture classes said that they were not able to understand SE concept. I analyzed current SE lecture materials and then proposed new model of SE concept lecture for SE novices. The new model consists of Vee diagram, life cycle model, PMTE paradigm, technical review, SE sample and definition of SE. I expect that the proposed model will contribute to upgrade a quality of domestic SE education.
기능 안전과 모델기반 시스템엔지니어링 - ISO 26262/DO-178C 중심으로

Recently, the ratio of electrical part and embedded software has grown in automotive industry. ISO 26262, 'Road Vehicles - Functional Safety', was published to guide development of automotive electrical and electronic part in 2011. This paper describes definition of functional safety and analyzes ISO 26262. The comparison of ISO 26262 and DO-178C is made, then difference between them is identified. DO-178C provides guidance for the production of software for airborne system and equipment. The core of DO-178C is a relatively minor update to the previous DO-178B, however, the big changes are captured in the supplemented documents such as DO-331, 'Model-Based Development and Verification Supplement to DO-178C and DO-278A'. Model-based design is important to develop automotive and aircraft meeting the guidelines of ISO 26262 and DO-178C. In this paper, the sample case of applying MBSE(Model-Based Systems Engineering) to AVCS(Active Vibration Control System) software development is discussed.
Redmine과 Git을 활용한 헬리콥터 능동진동제어시스템 소프트웨어 형상관리

Korea Aerospace Research Institute takes part in the vibration control software development for an Active Vibration Control System (hereafter, AVCS) for helicopters with Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd. in the Light Civil Helicopter (LCH) Project. The vibration control software is being developed per RTCA/DO-178C certification regulation and use of configuration management tools for software outputs is required. Redmine, an open source software is for issue or bug tracking and management software. Git, another open source software is a distributed version control software and is developed for Linux OS development. This paper introduces the functionalities of Redmine and Git, the reason why they are selected for the configuration management tool for the software outputs, and how they are being used for AVCS software development.

The purpose of this research is to develop co-simulation methodology of codes developed in different modeling and simulation environment. We develop aerodynamic FMU(Functional Mock-up Unit) meeting FMI(Functional Mock-up Interface) specification version2 utilizing Legacy FORTRAN aerodynamic code based on unsteady vortex lattice method. It is concluded that making FMU is possible utilizing Legacy code made in any language which can be compiled and linked with object in FMI API coded in C language. This paper explains QTronic's method of using FMU SDK(Software Development Kit) and suggestion for using FORTRAN properly. Finally, we make articulated rotor/aerodynamics co-simulation by integrating aerodynamics FMU and rotor FMU developed by Modelica.
