This study evaluated very recent situation of transforming defense engineering methodology from system engineering to digital engineering in the developed countries’ defense organizations because they tried to utilize the maximum extent of digital technology from 4th industrial revolution into weapon systems thru TLC(Total Life Cycle) from capability analysis, design and manufacturing, operation and sustainment, and suggested a few recommendation how to adopt the digital engineering into our nation.

The rotorcraft makes lift and control forces by the rotor thrust. At the development phase of the rotorcraft, the operational limitations have to be established. And it shall be demonstrated to operate the rotorcraft safely within the limitations. This paper introduces establishment and evaluation results of operational rotor speed limitations for the medium class utility rotorcraft. And it shows the follow-up activities after design changes of rotor speed indicators and aural warning systems for implementing the rotor speed limitations.
자립 운전시 최대전력 추종 가능한 슈퍼커패시터 저장형 태양광 전력조절기

자립 운전시 전력조절기는 일반적으로 태양광 발전에서 사용을 할 경우 부하에 의해 출력이 결정되어 최대전력 추종을 할 수 없는 구조로 되어있다. 본 연구에서는 자립 운전시의 태양광 발전시스템이 안정적인 최대전력 추종을 할 수 있도록 에너지 저장장치가 결합된 구조를 제안하였다. 이러한 구조에서는 태양광 발전의 전력 손실을 줄이고 또한 태양광 발전 전력이 부족할 경우에서도 부하 측의 안정적인 동작을 보장하기 위하여 에너지 저장장치와 DC-DC 양방향 컨버터를 이용한다. 에너지 저장장치의 한 예로 슈퍼커패시터를 충·방전함으로써 태양광 발전 에너지에 의한 안정적인 출력을 낼 수 있고, 태양광발전 전력의 효율적인 사용을 위한 전력조절 시스템의 아키텍처를 제안하고자 한다.

A non-contact battery charger which transfers energy using magnetic field has a difficulty with a feed-back control due to the interaction between the power and signal processing. This paper proposes an effective method which uses auxiliary windings of transformer as signal path, and copes with cross-talk using the MOSFET ringing phenomenon and ceramic filter. The power stage is half-bridge series resonant converter. Design procedure and experimental verification are presented.

This research aims to build practical and useful models of dictionary to help foreign learners learning Korean foreign words. Foreign words go through a morphological, syntactic, and pragmatic change when incorporated into the Korean vocabulary system. If the information is provided inaccurately, then the words will not be fully understood and used. Foreign words dictionary is needed in order to provide accurate meaning of original words to the learners. First, research investigated Korean foreign words dictionary’s problems in selection and arrangement of headwords in terms of the macro-structure. Then, we considered how to present detailed explanation, meaning, phonology, grammar, and pragmatic information of headwords in terms of microstructure. Therefore, the research recommends selecting frequently used foreign words as headwords and present appropriate examples to fill out the information gap from the changes in semantic and syntactic areas. This approach will improve learner’s ability to understand and express Korean foreign words.

This study aims to take a look at `argument relation` in the `의`-noun phrase and its distribution. For this research a small-scale corpus was constructed, and the corpus includes both the spoken language and the written language. The article `의` is used to connect the front component(NP1) and the rear component(NP2) to form a noun phrase, which is called `uy`-Noun Phase in this study. There are a lot of the semantic relations between the NP1 and the NP2 in the `의`-Noun Phase, but the `argument relation` is taken a look at only as the subject of this study. The `argument relation` could be classified into a case where the predicative noun comes in the place of NP2(as `agent`, `theme`, `condition`) and a case where it represents the `subject as a meaning`. In the usage distribution, `agent` and `theme` which were of not of high notice till now, each showed relatively high shares of 11.9% and 9.2%. Especially the `theme` showed a considerable difference between written language and spoken language.

In this paper, a low-cost series resonant half-bridge inverter for LCD backlight is proposed as a CCFL ballast. It is regulated by asymmetric control for its fixed frequency soft switching mode. The attractiveness of this topology IS primarily its low cost because of using BJT switches and reduction of anti-parallel dIOde. Design procedure and experimental verification from 5W 15" LCD backlight are presented.
