        혁신도시의 혁신체계 기본모형 개발과 오송생명과학도시 사례 적용

        This study presents a city innovation model aiming to concretize and put into practice innovation concepts for an innovative city. A basic model of an innovation system is provided and applied to Osong Bio-City. The basic model of an innovation system for an innovative city consists of innovation system compositional factors (such as innovation infrastructures, innovation functions, innovation types, and governance) and an innovation spatial planning that controls relationships among these factors. In this model, a particular innovation type is chosen or fixed at specific stages of urban growth. Here, the innovation spatial planning is expressed as an urban construction program corresponding to innovation system types at each urban growth stage. In applying the innovation model for an innovative city to Osong Bio-City, this paper proposes a phased model composed of three steps. This basic model shows the relationship among innovation system compositional factors of Osong Bio-City at each stage of its development, and also shows the networking of spatial organizations. For this reason, this basic model serves as a medium in the understanding of such physical aspects as spatial structure, land use, and types of facilities, as well as such non-physical aspects as industrial development, societal development, and administrative planning. It does so by strengthening ties between hardware and software studies of urban development and also by strengthening the comprehensiveness of planning. For this reason, we hope that this study can develop into a prototype model for innovative city construction.

        계배 추출물에 의해 분화된 계배 근관의 RhoA 유전자 클로닝

        The differentiation of skeletal muscle cells includes the morphogenesis from mononucleated myoblasts to multinucleated myotubes by cell fusion and regulation of gene expression at the transcriptional, posttranscriptional, and translational levels. We have screened a cDNA library from chick embryonic myotubes by differential plaque hybridization to isolate genes involved in myoblast differentiation in vitro. In this study, we found a cDNA clone, pJS323, that hybridized with 1.9 and 1.5kb transcripts enhanced about 15-fold when myoblasts were grown in differentiation media (8102), suggesting that these transcripts were accumulated during the myogenic differentiation in vitro. The deduced amino acid sequence of pJS323 cDNA showed a perfect homology to the partial sequence of rhoA, which is known as ras-related GTP binding protein of human, bovine, and canine. Our results suggest that pJS323 gene may be a chicken rhoA and play a role in the myoblast differentiation.
